The Stimulus: A Different Story Every Day

American Thinker

A vast majority of people surveyed recently believe that the economy, eighteen months after the Stimulus, is still in a very poor shape. Indeed, with an Unemployment Rate double than before Dems took control of Congress; the private sector economy – according to official BLS data – is losing a net three million jobs since the Stimulus; the Stock Market is in retreat; Home foreclosures expected to surpass the 2009 record, and federal deficits nine times larger than the last Republican deficit (less than $170 billion in FY 2007), few would think that the economy is doing anything but bad.

Call for New Elections!

The Post & E-Mail

Please tell me why we are being asked to pay protection to the Republican Party?  I don’t know about you, but the practice of soliciting public funds to combat “organized government crime” is disturbing.  Seems very reminiscent of the old Chicago-based protection racket.

  • Are you not offended by this arrogance?
  • Are you not offended by the failure of any member of Congress to honor his or her oath to protect the Constitution?
  • Are you not offended by the refusal of the Supreme Court to exercise its authority over the separation of powers as demanded by the Constitution?
  • Have you not been disenfranchised as a citizen by this consistent lack of accountability by all three branches of the current government?
  • Do you not see this as the current government has served us, “We the People,” with an official notice that they no longer regard us as their boss?

Excessive Vacation Binges by Bama: GOOD for America!

CFP

Barack Obama’s seventh vacation since seizing office has raised the ire of some Republicans who should know better.

As reported at CNN.com, in part:

“The Republican National Committee launched a website blasting what it considers Obama’s “leisure activities or missteps” during the oil disaster, like playing golf, attending concerts and vacationing in Asheville, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; and now Maine.”

“Presidents are certainly entitled to vacation, just like everybody else, but there is a fine line as to when presidents should do it, what they should and where they should do it,” said Brad Blakeman, a former member of President George W. Bush’s senior staff and the deputy assistant for appointments and scheduling.”

Hold on a minute, fellow patriots!

To Stop Sharia Law in America, Stop Elena Kagan’s Nomination

Family Security Matters

“As Dean of Harvard Law School, Elena Kagan banned military recruiters from campus because U.S. law said they couldn’t enlist homosexuals.  Now, she invited the Saudis’ recruiters to promote their legal code, Sharia, which calls for homosexuals to be murdered and women to be treated like animals. If Kagan tolerates promoting the injustice of Sharia Law on the campus of Harvard, what kind of injustice will she tolerate in America during a lifetime on the Supreme Court?”

So asks a compelling and troubling web ad the Center for Security Policy has just launched. They have done this in the hope of ensuring – before the Senate Judiciary Committee votes on Elena Kagan’s nomination tomorrow, Tuesday – that Senators and the American public will be made aware of who this woman really is.

Obama’s Dog Gets Own Plane on Vacation Trip

CFP

The Morning Sentinel, a small paper from the state of Maine, has a travelogue story of the Obama’s vacation in and about Maine today. It has a very interesting little tidbit in it that should enrage every American. It is something that really shows Barack Obama’s arrogance and his obviously assumed air of noblesse oblige.

Among the exciting details of the Obama’s visit to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor is this tidbit:

Arriving in a small jet before the Obamas was the first dog, Bo, a Portuguese water dog given as a present by the late U.S. Sen Ted Kennedy, D-Mass.…

As the rest of us toil on the unemployment line, as millions of Americans find their retirement accounts dwindling, their hours at work cut, and their pay scale trimmed, King Barack and Queen Michelle are flying their little doggie, Bo, on his own special jet airplane for his own little vacation adventure.
