Obama is trying to surround us with Islam

Northeast Intelligence Network

By Dr. Laurie Roth

We already know that we aren’t fighting a war with Islamic radicals or terrorists anymore.  We are fighting an overseas contingency operation.  Just recently our Commander in Chief Barack Hussein Obama,  has removed the terms ‘Islamic extremism’ from the main document which describes our national security strategy.  Islamic extremism,  radicalism,  fundamentalism is not to be used with military operations and focus anymore.  After all,  that would be a kind of religious racism wouldn’t it? Obama is aggressively shifting and redirecting how we interact with Islam and Islamic nations.  We have seen Obama scrub honest and real national security and war terms from the book.  He is openly at odds with his new commander in Afghanistan,  General Petraeus, who has coined the Petraeus doctrine,  which defines the enemy as Islamic insurgents,  Islamic extremists,  and Islamic subversives.  He talks of endless connection and support between Muslim support groups and Islamic terrorists.   The obvious rolls on by Obama as usual.

U.N. suppresses proof that carbon dioxide does not cause climate change

Examiner

As reported yesterday, the United Nations, in its attempt to white-wash the Climategate Scandal that totally discredited its statements on ‘climate change,’ has commissioned supposed ‘independent’ studies to ‘verify the facts.’

It turns out that these ‘independent studies’ are anything but independent.  As the Wall Street Journal stated yesterday, the scientists the U.N. used to ‘verify’ the facts are the very ones up to their eyeballs in the Climategate Scandal.

Charlotte zings Reid from beyond the grave

I never met Charlotte but I am sure she was an outstanding woman. I hope your idea works, for all of us. God Bless you and your family.

Las Vegas Review-Journal

Election 2010 has just heard from a member of the Silent Majority.

You know, from a deceased person.

Chances are good you never met Charlotte McCourt during her 84 years, but I’m willing to bet you’ll be hearing about her in the coming days now that her obituary has taken Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to task. It’s the kind of small story that has the potential to ricochet like a bullet through the campaign showdown between incumbent Reid and Republican challenger Sharron Angle.

Not because McCourt, who died July 8 after a long illness, was a political player or business powerbroker, but precisely because she was neither of those things. She was a homemaker, proud mother and grand mother and wife of 67 years to Patrick McCourt.

And she was at one time a loyal supporter of Harry Reid.

Her obituary, printed in Tuesday’s Review-Journal, reads in part, “We believe that Mom would say she was mortified to have taken a large role in the election of Harry Reid to U.S. Congress. Let the record show Charlotte was displeased with his work. Please, in lieu of flowers, vote for another more worthy candidate.”

Ouch.

McCourt was born Dec. 25 in Wellington, Utah and was a 40-year Nevada resident. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Perhaps by coincidence, Reid’s re-election hangs in no small part on his ability to encourage conservative and religious Democrats to support him. He is also a member of the LDS faith.

Mark Davis: If only real racism were the problem

Dallas Morning News

If the very existence of a black first lady were not enough to suggest that the NAACP’s century of battles has been largely won, Michelle Obama’s topic for her keynote speech to its convention might confirm it: childhood obesity.

Now, I’m as energized as the next person about a campaign to get kids (of all races) to put down the Little Debbies and PlayStation controllers and get outside. But surely Mrs. Obama, famous for her late-arriving pride in her country, has to admit that when you have such topical latitude in addressing a civil rights group, much progress has been made.
