Berryville Man Files Federal Lawsuit Over FOIA Response

A local man is asking a United States federal court to help him gain access to information related to the citizenship history of President Barack Obama.
Berryville resident, George Archibald has petitioned the United States District Court for the District of Columbia to compel the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and former White House Counsel Robert Bauer to produce documents that Archibald says may provide new insight into whether the President’s mother forfeited his US citizenship when Obama was just six-years-old.
If Archibald’s suspicion is correct it would raise important questions about the legitimacy of Obama’s qualifications to hold the office of President of the United States.
“I’m not a ‘birther,’’’ Archibald said after filing his lawsuit. “I’m simply interested in getting to the bottom of what appears to be stone-walling by the administration against my Freedom of Information request.”

Global warming became a cause to save life on earth  before it had a chance to become good science.  The belief that fossil fuel  use is an emergency destroying our planet by CO₂ emissions took over  the media and political arena by storm.  The issue was politicized so  quickly that the normal scientific process was stunted.  We have never had  a full, honest national debate on either the science or government policy  issues.

Everyone “knows” that global warming is true.   The public has no idea of the number of scientists — precisely one thousand at last count of a congressional committee — who  believe that global warming is benign and natural, and that it ended in 1998.  We have not been informed of the costs to our economy of discouraging fossil fuel development and  promoting alternatives.  The public need to know the choices being made on  their behalf, and to have a say in the matter.  We are constantly told that  the scientific and policy debate on global warming is over.  It has just  begun.

Worst. President. Ever… Obama’s Approval Numbers Sink Below Carter’s

Another record! Obama’s approval rating officially dropped below Jimmy Carter this week. Via US News and World Report:

President Obama’s slow ride down Gallup’s daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Since March, Obama’s job approval rating has hovered above Carter’s, considered among the 20th century’s worst presidents, but today Obama’s punctured Carter’s dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama’s job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter’s 51 percent…

…What’s more, Gallup finds that Obama’s overall job approval rating so far has averaged 49 percent. Only three former presidents have had a worse average rating at this stage: Carter, Ford, and Harry S. Truman. Only Truman won re-election in an anti-Congress campaign that Obama’s team is using as a model.

A west Georgia business owner is stirring up controversy with signs he posted on his company’s trucks, for all to see as the trucks roll up and down roads, highways and interstates:

“New Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone.”

“Can’t afford it,” explained the employer, Bill Looman, Tuesday evening. “I’ve got people that I want to hire now, but I just can’t afford it. And I don’t foresee that I’ll be able to afford it unless some things change in D.C.”

The City of Richmond charged the local tea party $10,000 to hold three rallies at the Kanawha Plaza …  But, the #Occupy squatters were allowed to set up a tent city on the plaza for free.

After complaining about this double standard and demanding a refund the Richmond tea party received a letter last week that they are being audited.
