Ilhan Omar (D-MN), along with her comrades Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), has gotten a lot of press since winning a seat in Congress. Despite her non-apology for bigoted, anti-Semitic statements she made earlier this month, Omar remains a virulent anti-Semite. But it is much worse than that: In addition to likely criminality, her extreme Left positions and connections to terrorists make her a security risk.

Some have demanded she be removed from the House Foreign Relations Committee, a position awarded to her by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. But she has no business in Congress at all, and should at the very least be investigated for numerous crimes committed over a period of years.

Omar’s position on Israel is long-established and well-known. She supports the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, and is overtly anti-Zionist. The 2012 tweet below — which she only deleted in the past few days — reiterates the incessant Arab narrative that casts Israel as an invader and abuser of Arabs living in the West Bank and Gaza Strip:

NATIONAL HARBOR – “Pawn Stars” host Rick Harrison injected some humor into his CPAC speech on Thursday afternoon.

Harrison, the star of the History channel show and an outspoken conservative, delivered his speech on ‘the stupidity of socialism’ at one of the largest annual gatherings of conservatives just outside Washington, D.C.

“The majority [of] people in this room know that socialism is just stupid,” he said.

“It’s literally like heroin. The first shot is great. For a little bit it’s wonderful, but then the rest of your life is a living hell. And that’s literally what the socialists are doing.”

He continued later in the speech: “Once you give someone something it’s hard to take it away… then you get Venezuela.”

The rise of socialism has been a hot topic at CPAC, with two prominent GOP House Oversight Committee members warning of “radicals” in the Democratic Party and saying they believe congressional Democrats are laying the foundation for Trump impeachment efforts.

So I was going to have a little fun at the expense of CNN this morning, contrasting the news site’s headline for the Democrats’ gun restriction bill—“House to vote on guns background check bill with bipartisan support”—which has garnered exactly four Republican co-sponsors, with its headline for the Sen. Ben Sasse’s anti-infanticide bill, which I was certain would be solely about the “GOP” despite having four Democrat Senators voting to move the bill forward. Turns out, it was even better.

There was nothing to contrast because, as far as I can tell, CNN doesn’t feature a single story on their website regarding the Democratic Party blocking of Sasse’s Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have saved newborn babies who survive abortion attempts from negligent homicide.

CNN didn’t even bother producing one of those predictably prejudiced pieces, like the ones we saw in Politico or the Washington Post yesterday, mischaracterizing Sasse’s bill as “anti-abortion.” They didn’t bother with the “conservatives pounce!” stories like the Daily Beast or Vox. They didn’t bother, like so many others, to distract from the number of viable babies being aborted by stressing only 1.5 percent of the procedures are in post-20 weeks, rather than pointing out there are somewhere around 15,000 to 18,000 aborted every year. They just ignored it.

Democrat Prepared Cohen Testimony Falls Flat As America Shrugs And Says, WHO CARES?

Michael Cohen, the former personal attorney for President Donald Trump and confessed serial liar, came to Congress, read from a prepared statement that is alleged to have first been approved by Democrats, and then proceeded to regurgitate old claims that have been played out in the media over the last 24 months. Yes, the Establishment Media will once again gasp and nod and claim there is something new there, but in the end, even they know the Cohen show has fallen flat and further confirmed how terribly out of touch with the American mainstream the Democrat Party has become.

Oh, and there’s all the undercurrent stuff swirling around the Cohen show as well, including his attorney and longtime Clinton fixer, Lanny Davis, and Mr. Davis’s apparent ties to none other than Vlad Putin…

And Mr. Cohen was also being called out in real time as he continued to lie under oath about not wanting a job in the Trump White House…

Yet, despite what a failed sideshow the Cohen spectacle has been, whispers continue to spread that select staff of high-ranking Democrat members of Congress are at this very moment preparing articles of impeachment against President Trump based largely upon the Cohen testimony. They don’t actually believe the president will be forced out of office, but are very much dedicated to seeing the label “impeached” placed around him as he prepares for the 2020 Election, thinking that perhaps President Trump will choose not to run for re-election or that should he run he’ll be soundly defeated via the weight of the impeachment stigma.

Politics and power—it seems that’s all that matters to these Democrats.

So now the Social Justice Warrior Left has dug up an old Playboy interview with John Wayne and discovered — surprise! — that the Duke was not  politically correct by the standards of 2019.

John Wayne is never going to be confused for a progressive by anyone familiar with his life and career. The actor was famous as one of Hollywood’s staunchest conservatives: a onetime member of the reactionary anti-Communist John Birch Society, a producer for and actor in a film about the ignominious House Un-American Activities Committee and a vocal supporter of the Vietnam War after much of the public had turned against it.

But this week snippets of an old interview he did with Playboy magazine, in which he expressed racist and homophobic sentiments and railed against socialism, began circulating on Twitter. A tweet with portions of the interview sent Sunday night from a screenwriter in Tennessee went viral — and, with that, Wayne’s politics were news again.

In the 1971 interview, Wayne railed against “perverted films,” giving the interviewer, Richard Warren Lewis, two examples when asked: “Easy Rider” and “Midnight Cowboy.” The actor described the characters in the latter film with a homophobic slur, then went on to extol the virtues of sexual intercourse between men and women.

Imagine that! A heterosexual movie star endorsing heterosexuality. But wait, it got worse:

Senate Democrats on Monday blocked a Republican bill that would have threatened prison time for doctors who don’t try saving the life of infants born alive during failed abortions, leading conservatives to wonder openly whether Democrats were embracing “infanticide” to appeal to left-wing voters.

All prominent Democratic 2020 presidential hopefuls in the Senate voted down the measure, including Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. The final vote was 53-44 to end Democratic delaying tactics — seven votes short of the 60 needed.

Three Democrats joined Republicans to support the bill — Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Doug Jones or Alabama. Three Republicans did not vote, apparently because of scheduling issues and plane flight delays — including Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Tim Scott of South Carolina.

The bill stipulated:

The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would have required that “any health care practitioner present” at the time of a birth “exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child as a reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.”

Here’s the thing. Born alive babies have Constitutional rights. I know that’s something which makes liberals wretch but it is true. The 14th Amendment:

JetBlue Apologizes For Honoring Fugitive Cop Killer In Black History Month Tribute

JetBlue Airways Corporation has apologized for honoring fugitive cop-killer Assata Shakur earlier this week as part of their Black History Month display in John K. Kennedy International Airport.

Shakur, whose real name is Joanne Chesimard, has been on the FBI’s Most Wanted list for decades after escaping from prison in 1979, where she was serving out a life sentence for murdering a police officer. Shakur eventually fled to Cuba.

“Our crewmembers came together to celebrate Black History Month with a display in Terminal 5 featuring prominent individuals in history. When we learned of concerns regarding one individual, we immediately removed the poster,” a spokesperson from JetBlue Cooperate Communication told The Daily Caller.

The poster, which was first reported by Blue Lives Matter, has a picture of her and the following:

• Civil Rights activist and a member of the Black Panther Party.
• Regarded as a hero for her protests against racism and her role win the 1970s Black Liberation Army.
• Community advocate who helped the poor by organizing a free breakfast program and a health clinic.
• Became the first woman to be placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list after escaping to Cuba from prison, where she was serving a life sentence for the 1973 murder of a police officer.
• Many people believe Shakur to be a political champion who is innocent of the criminal accusations against her.

Many anti-police organizations and activists celebrate Shakur and use her as a symbol of “resistance,” including the Women’s March and former CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill.
