Will Obama Turn Loose an Unrepentant Terrorist?

SECURE FREEDOM MINUTE

Among Barack Obama’s most toxic legacies is his campaign to shrink America’s prison population by turning loose many thousands of convicted felons.  Watch for his already record-setting numbers of prisoners granted clemency, pardons or commuted sentences to grow even larger in the remaining weeks of this presidency.

Surely though, even a Commander-in-Chief capable of such reckless disregard for public safety would not release one of the nation’s most notorious, murderous and unrepentant terrorists?  Unfortunately, it appears Mr. Obama is actively considering doing just that, by commuting the sentence of Oscar Lopez Rivera, a leader of the Puerto Rican terror group known as the FALN.

Fortunately, dozens of family members of Lopez Rivera’s victims and retired law enforcement personnel involved with his case wrote the President yesterday, strongly recommending against unleashing this dangerous criminal on our people.  They speak for all of us.

Obama is never going away

President Obama has no intention of fading away as Republican presidents typically do when they leave office.

Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush completed their presidencies and were then more or less silent on their successors’ performance in office.

However, Democrat former presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are constitutionally incapable of shutting up and Americans have long suffered their bloviations.

Barack Hussein Obama, like Carter and Clinton, is a Democrat who adores the sound of his own voice.

American Thinker

By Jon N. Hall

As America nears the end of the Obama times, one wonders how such a person could ever have become the Leader of the Free World. Americans haven’t been this divided since the Vietnam War. Obama deserves much of the credit for this sad state of affairs, as he has cynically played Americans off against each other. But voters ate up his pabulum about “hope and change,” as though the only other items on the menu were doom and inertia.

I feel bad for African Americans. The first nominally “black” president has proved to be a flop in so many areas. I’d imagine black folks are relieved that Obama is only half black and that his black half is not of “slave stock.” (You’ve been saying America needs a conversation on race, right.) Some black folks might even make the argument that America still hasn’t had a truly black president.

The election of Barack Hussein Obama tells us a great deal about the American electorate. Rather than voting for an authentic hero who suffered and sacrificed for his country, America opted for the “cool” candidate. When told by ABC’s Charlie Gibson that there’s a good deal of evidence that raising tax rates results in lower tax revenue, Obama said he would raise them anyway, for the sake of “fairness.” If White Boy spouted such nonsense he’d be laughed out of town.

The Obama Immigration Policy Timeline Wrecking Ball: Summary

The Obama administration’s strategy is to count on the fact that the public and the media will not take notice of each individual and incremental step they are taking to undermine immigration enforcement and grant de facto amnesty to as many illegal aliens as possible. The State Department’s second-ranking diplomat in Libya on the day that terrorists attacked the U.S. facilities in Benghazi and killed Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods says a key lesson Americans should take from that event is that officials in Washington, D.C. have a responsibility to make sure Americans serving their country abroad have the ability to protect themselves.

“That did not happen in Benghazi,” says Gregory Hicks, who was the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli on Sept. 11, 2012.

“I think, first, that I hope that the American people will appreciate the risks that diplomats and intelligence officers and our military personnel take to protect and preserve our democracy and our way of life,” Hicks said in an interview with CNSNews.com.

“Every day, we risk our lives out in some of the most dangerous environments and conditions imaginable,” he said. “And our officials in Washington have a responsibility: They have a responsibility to ensure that we have the ability to protect ourselves, to be protected, when we are risking our lives for our country. That did not happen in Benghazi.

FCC Approves Foreign Takeover of U.S. Broadcasters

Accuracy in Media

Exclusive to Accuracy in Media

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on September 29th did something worse than give up control of the Internet. They voted unanimously to put America’s entire broadcast industry on the fast track to a foreign takeover by Chinese, Russian or Muslim Brotherhood front corporations.

This new FCC rule gives foreign interests the long sought-after tools they need to shape U.S. public opinion and to censor the opposition.

Once a foreign corporation scoops up a media business, such as a chain of radio stations, it can eliminate national and local programming and substitute its own government’s propaganda. That means that conservative talkers could find themselves off the air.

Citing the need for “change” from the old “vintage” laws, Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel declared that “laws that govern broadcast investment can get in the way.”

So, rather than respect the law and Congress, the FCC decided in a 5 to 0 vote to decree a new “rule” that effectively guts a law that protected Americans from foreign interests and their propaganda. The new rule assumes that any foreign owner of a TV or radio broadcaster will be acceptable unless someone can prove otherwise.

JUDICIAL WATCH

‘If we open it up to anybody and everybody, all sorts of people will come out of the woodwork’Amila Merdzanovic, executive director, Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program

Second Group Helping to Resettle Syrian Refugees in Rutland, Vermont Received 91% of its Funding from Government Grants

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released 128 pages of documents it obtained from the mayor of Rutland, Vermont, showing a concerted effort by the mayor and a number of private organizations to conceal from the public their plans to resettle 100 Keep Syria Refugee Plans Secret into the small southern Vermont town.

The documents include an April 14, 2016, email from Amila Merdzanovic, executive director of the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program, to Mayor Christopher Louras, in which she wrote:

I want to share with you the concern my HQ has about holding a public forum. If we open it up to anybody and everybody, all sorts of people will come out of woodwork. Anti-immigrant, anti-anything. They suggest that the forum be invite only but make it as wide as possible. Work with faith leaders, United Way, etc… Perhaps, we could go back to the Congregational Church and continue the conversation there.

The mayor and resettlement organizations shrouded the plan in such secrecy that not even the town’s aldermen were informed of what was taking place behind closed doors. The aldermen eventually wrote to the U.S. Department of State protesting the plan and opened an investigation into the mayor’s actions. The State Department has not yet ruled on whether it will resettle refugees in Rutland despite the aldermen’s protest.

Handwritten notes state that the issue was, “Not what can ‘we’ do for ‘them,’ but what the diversity, cultural richness do for the community.” The documents contain detailed discussions of what Rutland will need to provide for the refugees – including housing, jobs, medical care, and places for worship.
