Stop Trying to Take Our Guns!

Joe For America

I don’t know about you, but the senseless death this week of the Canadian soldier, Corporal Nathan Cirillo, who was shot and killed at Canada’s National War Memorial in Ottawa, left me devastated.

When I look at the photograph of him with his dog, I cry as if he were my own son or brother. I cried even more, when I subsequently found out that he left behind a wife and young daughter.

At first, I was in disbelief, then I became angry, then saddened, then angry again. It’s where I find myself now.

WE must make more NOISE!!!

blogsense-by-barb

teapartypatriots

The general unrest across America is palpable! People are angry, frustrated, and disgusted with the ‘business as usual’ in DC, but they also feel helpless. Clearly, the majority of our elected officials no longer care two hoots what the people want. Suddenly, once elected, they simply work toward fulfilling their own agenda, whatever that is. Usually, it’s little more than lining their own pockets with taxpayer money!

HIST 100% Fed up!

The “system” is so badly out of whack that WE, the PEOPLE feel we have little or no recourse, no place to argue our distrust of government, no place to flay the “mainstream media” for feeding us only their left-leaning drippings, no place to decry the GREED from top to bottom because morality is currently out of fashion. Sadly, many decent Americans have simply given up and gone into hiding, so to speak.

I heard Sean Hannity a few weeks ago in conversation…

Valerie Jarrett Key Player in Fast and Furious Cover-Up After Holder Lied to Congress

Judicial Watch

President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, was a key player in the effort to cover up that Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress about the Fast and Furious scandal, according to public records obtained by Judicial Watch.

The information is part of a Department of Justice (DOJ) “Vaughn index” detailing records about the gun-running operation known as Fast and Furious. JW had to sue the agency for the records after the Obama administration failed to provide them under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). A federal court ordered the DOJ to provide the records over the agency’s objections. Yesterday JW reported on the broad information in the records, including that Obama asserted executive privilege for Holder’s wife as part of the administration’s efforts to cover up the scandal.

Practically lost in the 1,000-plus pages of records is an index that shows Jarrett was brought in to manage the fact that Holder lied to Congress after the story about the disastrous gun-running operation broke in the media. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) ran the once-secret program that allowed guns from the U.S. to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels. Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of hundreds of weapons which have been used in an unknown number of crimes, including the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona.

The files received by JW include three electronic mails between Holder and Jarrett and one from former U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke to Jarrett. The e-mails with Holder are all from October 4, 2011, a significant date because, on the evening of October 3rd, Sheryl Attkisson (then at CBS news) released documents showing that Holder had been sent a briefing paper on Operation Fast and Furious on June 5, 2010. The paper was from the director of the National Drug Intelligence Center, Michael Walther.

This directly contradicted Holder’s May 3, 2011 testimony to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, during which he stated that he, “probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” The October 4, 2011 date may also be significant because it came shortly after the August 30, 2011 resignation of U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke and reassignment of acting ATF director Kenneth Melson to the position of “senior forensics advisor” at DOJ.

The description of one of the e-mails, written from Jarrett to Holder, reads, “re: personnel issues.” Another, also from Jarrett, reads, “outlining and discussing preferred course of action for future responses in light of recent development in congressional investigation.” Unfortunately, the index is vague and that’s all the information we have about them. Nevertheless, given the timing and subject of these e-mails, it seems clear that Jarrett quickly became a key player in the Fast and Furious cover-up in the immediate aftermath of the revelation that Holder had lied to Congress.

U.S. Marine Killed In Baghdad

Weasel Zippers

They don’t explain how he was killed. RIP, Marine.

Via Washington Examiner:

A U.S. Marine was killed in Baghdad in a non-combat-related incident, becoming the first U.S. servicemember to die in that country since the end of active U.S. combat operations in 2011.

Thursday’s death of Lance Cpl. Sean P. Neal, 19, of Riverside, Calif., is under investigation, the Pentagon said. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command.

Neal is the first U.S. servicemember to die in Iraq since Nov. 14, 2011, when Army Spec. David Emanuel Hickman, 23, of Greensboro, N.C., was killed by an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He was the last official casualty of the Iraq War.

Neal is the second U.S. servicemember to die in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, dubbed Operation Inherent Resolve. The first was Marine Cpl. Jordan Spears, 21, of Memphis, Ind., who was lost in the northern Persian Gulf on Oct. 1 when he bailed out of an aircraft.

Clinton’s Pardons for Pedophiles: No crime too horrific that a large donation won’t solve.

Free Republic

The Office of the Inspector General of the State Department found in its latest investigation that Clinton aides had “created an appearance of undue influence and favoritism” in a number of cases including that of Ambassador Howard Gutman.

The investigation is largely a whitewash. There is no mention of the fact that one whistleblower related to the case, Richard Higbie, had his emails deleted by a hacker. Or that the main whistleblower, Aurelia Fedenisn, was harassed at home and had her law firm burgled.

It goes almost without saying that Richard Nixon went down for much less than that.

There is also no mention of the more explosive allegation that Howard Gutman had not merely solicited a prostitute on a single occasion, as the report mentions, but had escaped his detail to “solicit sexual favors from minor children.”

Also overlooked is the fact that the Gutman case was shoved under the rug by Cheryl Mills, who was not only Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff but the White House Counsel who ferociously protected Bill Clinton when questions were raised about his own sexual activities.

The Traitors Who Join ISIS

Adam Gadahn (left) and Ottawa gunman Michael Zehaf-Bibeau

National Review

Nathan Cirillo and Michael Zehaf-Bibeau.

As I noted yesterday, the moral contrast between these two men — the Ottawa terrorist and the guard he shot — couldn’t be more stark. Cirillo gave his life in the service of country and honor. Zehaf-Bibeau gave his life in the service of tyranny and murder.

All those who have died serving Australia, Canada, the U.K., and the U.S. have made a great sacrifice for those respective democracies. Most Westerners honor them with gratitude. Tragically, however, some Westerners are betraying that honor by joining the Islamic State’s global movement.

This societal struggle — against a very small minority of extremists — speaks to a profound philosophical divide.

While the Islamic State claims to represent a new, just, and holy order, its hyper-Salafi jihadist ideology is antithetical to democracy. Where we stand for individual freedom, they stand for totalitarianism. Where we stand for the rule of law, they stand for the tyranny of one psychotic man.

Votes from ‘non-citizens’ could decide the election

American Thinker

A massive study published in the journal of Electoral Studies suggests that hundreds of thousands of “non-citizens” have cast votes in recent elections illegally. In fact, the data suggests that these illegal votes have been the difference in several contests.
