This is no mere rant from some fringe far lefter. No, this is coming from House Budget Committee chair Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) one of the highest ranking Democrats in all of Congress. Following a social media mob reaction to a video that has since been proven to have been badly taken out of context and resulted in (yet again) more fake news headlines, Congressman Yarmuth is calling for a federal ban on teenagers wearing MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN hats. This isn’t a joke. This isn’t parody. We are living in a time when political “leaders” are attempting to ban hats.

House Budget Committee chair Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) called Sunday for a ban on teenagers wearing “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hats, in response to a viral video of a confrontation between Catholic students and Native American counter-demonstrators at the March for Life on Friday in Washington, DC.
Yarmuth holds one of the most powerful positions in the Democrat-run U.S. House of Representatives.

He blamed President Donald Trump for the students’ behavior.

The MAGA hats are one of the most recognizable symbols of the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, and are commonly worn by Trump supporters.

However, as numerous critics have pointed out, the confrontation was widely mis-reported, and took place in almost exactly the opposite way it had been reported in the mainstream media. The students had been targeted by racial slurs, and the Native American activist approached them, rather than the other way around.

Yarmuth, like every other member of Congress, swore an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution — including the First Amendment, which declares: “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech.”

Now that the high school days of Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford are the most important issue facing Americans (according to the media, anyway), it is certainly odd that evidence of student norms at Blasey Ford’s own alma mater is being “disappeared” from the web.  First, the yearbook of Holton-Arms High School, the all-girls private academy she attended, was scrubbed from the web on September 17, 2018.

But that effort to withhold from the public pictures like this:

…was foiled by a website – one I had never before heard of – called “The Cult of the 1st Amendment,” which archived the whole thing, making it available for study.

Now, most curiously, The Cult of the 1st Amendment has disappeared from its host, Blogspot, which happens to be owned by Google.  It has been “removed”:

Steven Brill is raising $6 million to launch News Guard. This new service will rate news sites on their trustworthiness from green to red. Forget politically unbiased algorithms. The ratings will be conducted by “qualified, accountable human beings” from teams of “40 to 60 journalists.” Once upon a time, journalism meant original writing. Now it means deciding which original writing to censor.

“Can trust be monetized?” The Street’s article on News Guard asks. But it isn’t really trust that’s being monetized. It’s censorship. It’s doing the dirty work that Google and Facebook don’t want to do.

In February, a proposed speech by former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos precipitated riots at the University of California Berkeley as protesters smashed ATMs and bank windows, looted a Starbucks, beat Trump supporters, pepper-sprayed innocent individuals, and set fires in the street. We have entered a time in the history of the United States of America that augurs whether or not we will survive as a nation.  When We-the-People elected Donald J. Trump as our president, the globalist powers visibly headed by Luciferian leader and ObamaFriend George Soros began their malicious work to overturn the election and end the USA as it was founded.  Since 20 January 2017, the protests against our elections-and us–have increased as more anarchists have been and are continuing to be brought into the fray by these same New World Order globalists.  George Soros-just as he fomented and spurred on the Ferguson and other paid-for riots-is firmly behind the worldwide rioting and attempted overturn and destruction of the Trump administration…and the USA.  In order to affect that destruction, it is necessary for most, if not all, government institutions to stop following any and all US laws that would defeat the ultimate purpose of the New World Order; which is the complete dismantling and destruction of the United States as it now stands.  To wit, Obama and Soros met multiple times in our White House during Obama’s presidency.

Note:  From my perspective, it strongly appears Soros gained a great deal of assistance from Obama in the [their] fight against the USA and is still gaining it from all of the Obama hires and appointees still working in US government positions.

DHS May Ban “Religiously-Charged” Terms Jihad, Sharia to Avert “Us versus Them” in Anti-Terror Programs

Four years after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) purged anti-terrorism training material determined to be offensive to Muslims, its umbrella agency, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), may eliminate divisive Islamic terms like “jihad” and “sharia” in government programs targeting radicalization among youth.

It’s political correctness run amok and the Obama administration has played a central role in promoting it by caving in to the demands of various Muslim rights groups. In this latest case a Homeland Security Advisory Council is recommending that, to avoid “us versus them” when discussing extremism, certain “religiously-charged” terminology must be avoided. This includes using “American Muslim” rather than “Muslim American” and rejecting religious, legal and cultural terms like jihad, sharia, takfir and umma. Jihad is the holy war that propels Islamic terrorism. Sharia is the authoritarian doctrine that inspires Islamists-including the world’s most violent groups such as Al Qaeda-and their jihadism. Takfir and umma are Arabic terms that mean apostasy and Muslim community.

Stephen Coughlin alerted me to a House Resolution introduced on December 17th, H.Res.569, “Condemning violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States.114th Congress (2015-2016).”  As of this writing, the country remains clueless about this development.

The resolution was introduced by Virginia Democrat Donald S. Beyer, and sponsored by Frank Pallone, a New Jersey Democrat, and endorsed by seventy-one other Representatives, most of them Democrats, and possibly a sprinkling of Republicans. The resolution has gone into committee, but one can predict with confidence that it will emerge virtually unscathed and unaltered. After all, the “victims” are Muslims, and the House wishes to put it in the record that certain of its members are against hurting anyone’s feelings.

Mayor Told to Apologize or Resign After He Said This About Obama

Mayor Bruce Hagen of Superior, Wisconsin has been asked to either apologize or resign after a comment he made on a Facebook photo of Michelle Obama. He called him a “Muslim” who has destroyed the “fabric of American democracy.”

“Unbelievable! She and her Muslim partner have destroyed the fabric of Democracy that was so very hard fought for,” he wrote, a local Fox News affiliate reported.

City councilor Graham Garfield said a recall for Mr. Hagen is not out of the question, but it would be left up to the public.

Think about that. Mayor Hagen offered an opinion and some, probably leftists, want to destroy his career.

Mayor Hagen thought the same thing.

“Do we still have freedom of speech in the country? Sometimes I kind of forget,” he told Fox.

He’s not apologizing or resigning. He’s in his first term and won his last term with 55% of the vote.

Hagen said he holds the office in high regard but not Obama.

The city councilors demand he apologize.

“I’m not saying he’s done anything criminal, but he’s certainly put his leadership capabilities in question,” said one.

The councilor felt the mention of “Muslim” was derogatory. He also believes the mayor has to be nonpartisan – that’s a first for me.

I don’t remember anyone calling for heads to roll when George Bush was called a monkey or a murderer.

Currently, the page, which is not an official page, is completely private. It’s not been mentioned anywhere if it was at the time.
