Kentucky Sheriff Has Obtained Many Pieces Of Surplus Military Equipment

Sheriff Brady isn’t shopping for new toys for the “special operators” of SWAT.

On Nov. 17, an EF3 tornado struck Corydon causing widespread damage and knocking out electricity to the community, which in turn shut down the water treatment plant.

A dire situation, it could have been even worse without a proactive move made by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department.

For several years, the agency has been obtaining pieces of surplus military equipment. One of those is a generator that was used by Corydon’s water treatment plant to keep it up and running in the aftermath of the tornado.

“Their water treatment plant was down due to lack of power,” said Henderson County Sheriff Ed Brady. “We took our big generator out there, plugged it in and they were able to run their water treatment plant because we had a generator available … that we got through the military.”

Through the military surplus program, Brady said the sheriff’s office has obtained roughly $1 million in equipment for the county, including Humvees, a bucket truck and a mine-resistant, ambush protected vehicle known as an MRAP.

Brady said the department found the equipment through a designated site for military surplus equipment.

“You have to sign up and be approved,” he said. “The state police are the ones who coordinate this in Kentucky. You see it on the computer, you think it’s a piece of equipment you can use and you put in for it, you request it. You have to be approved by the state first.”

fter getting state approval, the request is sent to the federal government by way of the Law Enforcement Support Office in Battle Creek, Michigan. This office also has to approve the request. Police agencies and foreign militaries get priority. If the equipment isn’t placed with these groups, then it’s destroyed.

“(Most) of this equipment is not for daily use … this is all for rescue-type situations, flooding situations, tornado situations and Henderson County or any county in Kentucky couldn’t afford to buy this type of equipment,” Brady said. “You have to buy the essentials. So I feel like we’ve been able, through the government surplus program, to obtain equipment to serve people in emergencies that normally we couldn’t afford or have available to us.”

“The thing that generates the most interest is the MRAP,” he said. “We consider it a rescue vehicle. If we had a deputy shot in the middle of a field and an active shooter was still there and we couldn’t get to them with any other piece of equipment, we could get to them with that … or get to a civilian” in need.

Hillary Clinton’s New Book Provides More Evidence that Huma Abedin is a Stealth Muslim Brotherhood Agent

While broaching the subject in her book about the controversy surrounding her adviser Huma Abedin’s connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, which went mainstream a full year after those connections were discovered by Shoebat.com, Hillary Clinton has inadvertently provided more evidence that Abedin is a stealth agent for the Brotherhood. What may seem like a harmless admission – that Huma traveled to Cairo with Hillary in 2012 – is actually quite a damning revelation considering that Huma (a Muslim) – was married to Anthony Weiner (a Jew) coupled with who was in power in Egypt at the time – the Muslim Brotherhood.

In her book, Hillary reveals some of what happened during a meeting with Coptic Christians while visiting Cairo in 2012, after Mohammed Mursi had been elected President and Egypt was on the brink of civil war.

…one of the more agitated participants brought up an especially outrageous canard. He accused my trusted aide Huma Abedin, who is Muslim, of being a secret agent of the Muslim Brotherhood. This claim had been circulated by some unusually irresponsible and demagogic right-wing political and media personalities in the United States, including members of Congress, and now it had turned up in Cairo. I wasn’t going to let that stand and told him in no uncertain terms how wrong he was. After a few minutes of conversation the embarrassed accuser apologized and asked why a member of the U.S. Congress would make such an assertion if it wasn’t true. I laughed and said that unfortunately plenty of falsehoods are circulated in Congress. After the meeting Huma went right up to the man, politely introduced herself, and offered to answer any questions he had. It was a characteristically gracious move on her part.

Why did Abedin – a devout Muslim who is married to a Jew in Weiner – join Hillary Clinton on a trip to Egypt when that country was ruled by the extremely fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood and President Mursi? Did the secret service object? Did Mursi?

That Abedin was with Clinton during that visit received scant media attention at best. According to a Daily Beast report from a year later, it was Abedin who pushed for Clinton to make the trip.

Why would a Muslim woman married to a Jew push for to visit a country run by the extremely fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood???

As was the case all throughout the summer of 2012, extremely legitimate questions were never answered, like how Abedin ever received a security clearance when her family members have irrefutable links to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is not a matter of guilt by association; it has always been about conflict of interest. In her book, Hillary does not relay any of the questions asked by the “agitated participant” or any of Huma’s responses to them.

The Department of Homeland Security believes – based on sensitive information they’re not sharing with us – that al-Qaeda is still targeting America, especially passenger aircraft.

This time the terrorist tactic involves building a bomb into a cellphone or other electronic gizmo that a terrorist can carry undetected through security onto a U.S.-bound airliner.

No real surprise; This is just the latest in explosive al-Qaeda cabals.

An email alert was sent out this afternoon from the Detention Watch Network. They plan a protest event tomorrow morning at the Jack Harwell Detention Center in Waco, Tx. According to them, this facility is just not quite good enough for the detaining of immigrants due to issues such as a lack of a legal library there, no on site medical facility, etc. However, previous complaints they have made to ICE were not given any validation:

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is committed to providing all detainees in our custody with safe detention environments. The Jack Harwell Detention Center meets the applicable ICE detention standards and has successfully passed inspection reviews. Independent detention inspections are conducted by private contractors with extensive corrections experience to ensure quality assurance over the review process, consistency in the application of detention standards, and verification of corrective actions, if any. ICE is open to discussing any concerns with our partnering agencies regarding the detainees housed at their facilities.”

Their headline suggests that this is just the beginning of a highly orchestrated national effort:

It’s a senseless move, which is why it was done very quietly. The only real way to discover that the Justice Department’s 19-year-old National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC) has been closed is by trying to visit its website. It simply says that on June 15, 2012, the National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC) closed. The public is redirected to another website with “historical materials, an archived version of the NDIC.”

I’ve been seeing a lot of bumper stickers on the backs of cars lately declaring, “I’m Ready for Hillary!” 2016. That’s Hillary Clinton for *president*. Astonishingly (and horrifyingly), these drivers seem to be in earnest. How is that possible?

Have these people not even been remotely paying attention for the last 40 years?

Please. I beg of you. Before you put this on your car, please do some research.

I mean, why don’t you just put a bumper sticker on your car that says—
