Judicial Watch: Newly Released Documents Confirm White House Officials Set Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi Response

Judicial Watch

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released new State Department documents showing that Hillary Clinton and the State Department’s response to the Benghazi attack was immediately determined by top Obama White House officials, particularly Ben Rhodes, then-White House deputy strategic communications adviser, and Bernadette Meehan, a spokesperson for the National Security Council.  The new documents were forced from the U.S. State Department under court order in a Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:14-cv-01511)).

Judicial Watch filed a FOIA request on June 13, 2014, and subsequently a lawsuit on September 4, 2014, seeking:

Any and all records concerning, regarding, or related to notes, updates, or reports created in response to the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This request includes, but is not limited to, notes taken by then Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or employees of the Office of the Secretary of State during the attack and its immediate aftermath.

Federal Judge Reopens Suit to Obtain Huma Abedin’s Clinton E-Mails

National Review
A federal judge has reopened a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit that aims to obtain e-mails between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her longtime aide, Huma Abedin, saying that the discovery of Clinton’s private server warranted the revival of the case.
Judicial Watch, a nonprofit watchdog group, asked the judge to find that Clinton had committed fraud, but he demurred, choosing instead to rely on a rule that allowed for the case to be reopened due to a change in circumstances. The State Department agreed that this rule applied.
“The Court will rely upon that provision, rather than spilling ink to resolve their dispute as to whether Judicial Watch has submitted clear and convincing evidence of fraud by the State Department,” Judge Emmet Sullivan wrote in his order today. Though Sullivan declined to definitively vindicate their fraud accusation, Judicial Watch hailed the ruling as a victory.
“The reopening of this case brings Judicial Watch one step closer to forcing the State Department to ensure that the government records in Hillary Clinton’s ‘secret’ email system are properly preserved, protected and recovered as federal law requires,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement. “Ms. Abedin is part of the Clinton cash-raising operation and was even involved in the Benghazi scandal, so this lawsuit could not be more timely.”
Abedin has long served as one of Clinton’s closest aides, but Politico reported in May that she was given “special government employee” status that allowed her to work for outside clients — including one that advises foreign governments — while remaining on the State Department payroll. She is also the staffer who asked Bill Clinton’s team to allow Hillary Clinton to host her e-mails on a private server that the former president had already established, according to a Wall Street Journal report. “Privately,” that report noted, “aides of the former president worried that adding her account would make the system a target for hackers.”

Muruna, an Islamic threat

Independent Sentinel

A part of Islam that is gaining attention in the United States is Taqiiya, the intentional deceiving of those who are not of Islam. One lesser known precept is Muruna, the act of infiltration through stealth of non-Islamic nations.

This concept was brought to this country 25 years ago by Yusuf al-Qaradwai, pictured below, the same man who has been sentenced to death in Egyptian courts for a mass jailbreak in 2011. Al-Qaradwai has set aside 30 years for the complete infiltration of the United States government, to be completed by 2020.

He has been seen at the Dar Al Hijrah mosque in Falls Church Virginia with Shaker Elsayed, the Imam of the mosque and former Secretary General of the Muslim American Society, known to be a front for the Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama Issued a 2010 Directive to Facilitate the Islamist Takeover of the Middle East

Brotherhood

Independent Sentinel

Looking in the rearview mirror at Barack Obama’s Middle East policy, a clearer perspective has emerged. It shows a feckless leader who chose the Muslim Brotherhood to organize the Middle East and fight terrorism. In his mind and the collective minds of his advisers, they were the “moderates.”

A directive known as Presidential Study Directive 11 aka PSD-11 detailed his plan for the remapping of the Middle East.

Obama’s pursuit of the Muslim Brotherhood began early in his presidency. He invited the terror group to his apology speech at Al Azhar University in Cairo in June 2009. Mubarak and his cabinet did not attend Obama’s meeting because of their presence.

Under a directive he issued, Barack Obama and his sycophants in the White House, planned the decimation of the Middle East though they thought they were saving the region by organizing and supporting an Islamist takeover of at least four countries. In some cases, the administration armed the terrorist insurgents, always believing them to be moderates.

The president even chose who would lead the Middle East. He chose the Muslim Brotherhood.

Clinton aide’s emails face disclosure suit (Huma Abedin)

Free Republic

The emails of Huma Abedin, the top personal aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, are now facing a disclosure lawsuit after the State Department failed to turn them over in response to an open-records request.

huma_hillary_7_ap_605_605-548x297

Judicial Watch, a conservative public interest law firm that uses open-records laws to pry information loose, had filed a request to get a look at Ms. Abedin’s emails during her four years at the State Department. News outlets have reported that Ms. Abedin also used the private email server Mrs. Clinton set up to handle government business, but the status of her messages is unclear.

It’s one of a number of open-records requests Judicial Watch filed after the email scandal broke, and Tom Fitton, president of the organization, said they’ve been stonewalled on all of them, so now they’re turning to the courts.

“We’re churning through these,” he said. “The scandal at the State Department is more than about Hillary Clinton. There are others involved.”

The State Department didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on the lawsuit Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Clinton has said she turned over about 30,000 emails from her server, and discarded another 32,000 messages she deemed unrelated to business. But it’s unclear whether the messages she turned over were hers alone, or whether they also included ones from Ms. Abedin’s account or other aides who were using the server for government business.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, who exposed the private emails as part of his investigation into the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, has urged Mrs. Clinton to turn the server over to a neutral third party while questions get sorted out, but Mrs. Clinton has refused,(snip)

Judge Napolitano – Hillary Clinton Is Eligible for Criminal Prosecution

Independent Sentinel

The Hillary Clinton email scandal is not simply a scandal. She broke the law and she did it more than once. Will she be prosecuted for it? Judge Napolitano was asked that question and in the end, she could be but it will depend on the prosecutor.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has given us her word that she only destroyed personal emails, but she has refused to turn over her husband’s server. She brazenly wiped the server clean when it was subpoenaed.

Information on Benghazi, the Russian reset and all the other dealings she has been involved in are lost. Communications with her aides, including Huma Abedin, are lost. Possible information about donations to her charity from foreign nations is gone. Schedule information is also gone.

She has clearly broken the law and the public was told to just trust her.

Trey Gowdy is not just trusting her.

House Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy delivered a letter to Hillary Clinton’s lawyers on Friday demanding Clinton hand over her email server to a third party to see what email remains on it even though she said she has wiped the server clean.

“I am formally requesting Secretary Clinton make her server available to a neutral, detached and independent third-party for immediate inspection and review,” Gowdy wrote, adding that the State Department’s Office of Inspector General could be a possible third party to examine the email.

“(S)hould Secretary Clinton continue to maintain that the server and its contents are hers alone, I will inform the Speaker of the House of Representatives so that he can use the full powers of the House to take the necessary steps to protect the best interests of the American people,” Gowdy wrote, according to The Blaze.

The full powers of the House would allow them to arrest her though that is unlikely.

Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer asked Judge Andrew Napolitano Monday morning if Hillary Clinton could be in trouble legally for her recent crimes related to the destruction of her government documents/emails. Judge Napolitano said that she’s in trouble legally if there is a prosecutor who will prosecute her.

The Judge said she broke the law several times and the same laws applied to others should be applied to her.

Hillary Clinton diverted government documents from the government to her husband’s server; she admitted to putting classified information in a non-classified venue which is the same crime as General Petraeus who had them in a drawer; and she admitted to destroying subpoenaed evidence after she was notified it was under subpoena – that’s obstruction of justice.

Hillary Clinton made these judgements instead of the State Department, the Judge said.

Judge Napolitano said this case should be presented to a Grand Jury to let them decide.

Evan Bayh, former Democratic senator from Indiana, said the voter’s won’t care. Judge Napolitano said they will care because the Clintons have acted as if they were above the law for years.

[The server will probably go on fire next and when she testifies, she won’t remember a thing.]

Watch the Judge:

Remember when it was a big deal when Richard Nixon or his secretary allegedly erased 18 1/2 minutes of Watergate Tapes? The entire Watergate scandal was blown well out of proportion but how is it Hillary can erase years of government documents?

It’s so important to the left that they are still trying to retrieve the data from the tapes. Rosemary Woods said she accidentally erased five minutes of the tape.

Of treaties and treason

obama_treason

Flopping Aces

democrats have been fast and loose with accusations of treason of late. On the one hand, they threw the accusation at Tom Cotton for reminding everyone that the Senate gets offer advice and consent to any binding treaties the President engages in. Soon after they agreed to support in principle what Cotton stipulated.

Hey, says James Lewis over at American Thinker, as long as treason is in the air…

What’s more, by bringing that ticklish word “treason” into the public debate, the left is opening up a can of worms. We can now ask some crucial questions that have been taboo until now.
•Does Hillary Clinton’s personal aide Huma Abedin, a lifelong Muslim Brotherhood acolyte, represent a clear and present danger in time of war?
•Did Hillary Clinton knowingly allow Abedin access to top secret State Department documents via Hillary’s private email accounts?”

And, to echo Prince Turki al-Faisal this week,
•Is Obama now opening the door to nuclear proliferation to rogues and terrorists, by letting Iran have nuclear weapons, thereby betraying this country, our allies and the entire world?

Those questions must now be asked. They should be asked as a matter of national survival.
