Press TV, Iran’s propaganda outfit in the U.S., conducted an interview with Reza Najafi, Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to this outlet, Najafi was asked about the IAEA’s role in the potential deal.

“The agency as a professional organization, indeed, should do a professional work. It means — only from the technical point of view — reporting what has been done by Iran. Of course Iran under the Joint Plan of Action, agreed in Geneva, agreed to implement some voluntary measures.” [Bold mine]

These voluntary measures have been implemented, constantly, and it was reported by the agency, and confirmed and verified.

This is just disgusting. A “senior social media campaigner” for the DNC, Eric Reif, posted a tweet encouraging people to apply for a position on the DNC social media team.

For some inexplicable reason, Eric took the opportunity to mock Benghazi.

Four. Dead. Americans.

The posting was for a “digital writer” for the party “to create content for our email list and social media properties (think @TheDemocrats and @JoeBiden),” the job description reads.

It’s unclear why Eric Reif, who is “Senior Email Campaigner” for the DNC and previously worked for President Obama’s campaign committee, would include the acrostic in the job posting. He later deleted the tweet.

GE CEO: We Will Not Release Hillary Emails

But remember, Hillary said she wants the American people to see them. So why wouldn’t you?

General Electric (GE) CEO Jeffrey Immelt said Wednesday that he will not release the emails that GE exchanged with Hillary Clinton’s State Department during the period in which GE was donating to the Clinton Foundation.

“Again, I think that’s not something we would do. Right?” Immelt said at GE’s shareholder meeting in Oklahoma City, OK in response to a question from Justin Danhof of the National Center For Public Policy Research, who pressed the CEO to release written communications with the State Department.

Secretary of State Clinton lobbied the Algerian president in 2012 to pick GE as a contractor for Algerian power plants. GE got the Algeria deal and quickly thereafter donated to the Clinton Foundation. Clinton also lobbied on behalf of Clinton Foundation donors including Boeing and Chevron.

“I think for a global company it’s very normal business where the State Department and or other officials actually help us around the world” Immelt said in the exchange, audio of which was reviewed by TheDC. “And we do that today. We did that in the past. I hope we do that always.”

“That’s what we did. And that’s what we do today,” Immelt said.

McConnell introduces bill to extend NSA surveillance

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell introduced a bill Tuesday night to extend through 2020 a controversial surveillance authority under the Patriot Act.

The move comes as a bipartisan group of lawmakers in both chambers is preparing legislation to scale back the government’s spying powers under Section 215 of the Patriot Act.

Last week, we were forced to witness the true colors of our ultra-socialist and pro-terrorist President Barack Hussein Obama again. Fresh off of his capitulation to his Muslim brothers in Tehran with regard to the sham nuclear negotiations that threaten the annihilation of not just Israel but also our own country, he seized the opportunity at the Summit of the Americas in Panama City, Panama, to advance his dastardly plan to open full diplomatic relations with the Communist island of Cuba.

Shaking the hands of brutal and blood-thirsty dictator Raul Castro, the younger brother of Fidel Castro, a man who has waged his own version of the Holocaust against his people since the early 1960s when he seized power, Obama later in the week removed Cuba from the list of terrorist nations. Fidel and Raul Castro, the terrorist-supporting dictators, even installed Soviet nuclear weapons on the island in 1962, only to be forced to remove them later under President Kennedy’s naval blockade and the threat of a full-fledged nuclear strike by the United States. But, what makes matters worse is that Obama received nothing in return from his Communist friends.

This is typical of Obama. He is a communist and a Muslim (who gives preferential treatment to Muslims over Judeo-Christian values) at heart and has acted accordingly over the last six years since he and his administration cleverly seized power over We the People by passing himself off as an amiable mainstream liberal, a Christian, and someone who is a natural born citizen eligible to be president. Notwithstanding the ever-growing list of Obama scandals, from IRS-gate, to Benghazi-gate, to Fast and Furious-gate, to NSA/CIA-gate, to Obamacare-gate, to Amnesty-gate, and many others – where he has ignored and defied the power of Congress and subverted not just the Constitution but also the rule of law time and time again – King Hussein is now on the verge doing such permanent traitorous damage to our national security that he should be removed from office for this alone.

Years After GSA Las Vegas Conference Scandal, Agencies Still Hold Lavish Events

A few years after the General Services Administration’s (GSA) scandalous Las Vegas conference fleeced American taxpayers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, another federal agency is being exposed for covering up its lavish events totaling millions.

The Department of Labor (DOL) spent nearly $2 million on questionable extracurricular events then tried to cover it up, according to a federal audit made public recently. In fact, the agency failed to follow federal reporting guidelines for many of its pricey employee conferences, including more than a dozen that cost American taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars. The two more expensive ones cost $225,000 and $131,000 with the others running close to $100,000, according to the report issued by the DOL Inspector General.

After the GSA debacle Congress passed a measure to tighten the reins on this sort of outrageous spending for federal agency employee events, yet we see nothing has really changed. Heads publicly rolled when the GSA Inspector General published a scathing report exposing the lavish Las Vegas powwow, which featured luxury accommodations for staff and their loved ones, fine cuisine, wild parties and expensive gifts. Adding insult to injury, dozens of GSA workers were actually awarded cash bonuses for arranging the outlandish Sin City celebration.

The U.S. Constitution Actually Bans Hillary’s Foreign Government Payola

The Washington Post reported last week that the tax-exempt foundation run by Bill and Hillary Clinton accepted money from seven foreign governments while Hillary served as U.S. Secretary of State (it’s unclear how much foreign money the organization accepted while Hillary was a U.S. Senator). Super shady, right? It’s worse than that, though, because Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution actually bans foreign payola for U.S. officials.

The constitutional ban on foreign cash payments to U.S. officials is known as the Emoluments Clause and originated from Article VI of the Articles of Confederation. The purpose of the clause was to prevent foreign governments from buying influence in the U.S. by paying off U.S. government officials. Here’s the text of the clause:

Obama Task Force to Strengthen Immigrant “Integration Infrastructure”

President Obama’s Task Force on New Americans has issued its much-anticipated plan to facilitate life in the U.S. for immigrants and refugees by enhancing pathways to naturalization, building welcoming communities and providing “mobile immigration services in underserved communities.” The government-wide initiative aims to “strengthen federal immigrant and refugee integration infrastructure.”

This includes multilingual media campaigns promoting immigrant rights and other free tools to make life easier in the U.S. and up to $10 million for “citizenship preparation” programs. The goal is to “strengthen civic, economic and linguistic integration and to build strong and welcoming communities,” according to the report issued this month by the special task force. In the end communities will be strengthened by welcoming all residents, the administration assures. The panel was created by the president in November and is chaired by Cecilia Muñoz, the former vice president of the powerful open borders group National Council of La Raza (NCLR).

McConnell Rushes to Nominate Loretta Lynch Who Promises to Violate the Constitution

The Loretta Lynch nomination has never been held up because she suggested she will violate the law as Attorney General nor was it held up because she refused to answer significant questions and feigned ignorance during the questioning. Her nomination was held up so it could be used as a wedge in the battle over the anti-human trafficking law.

Democrats found some anti-abortion language in the bill and, thanks to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, Republicans backed off. A change made to the bill to help Republicans save face requires money to help victims be taken from existing community health center funds that already have abortion restrictions.

Now that the agreement has been reached, the Senate will vote quickly on Loretta Lynch’s nomination. Republican leaders had insisted the trafficking bill be finished before any vote on Loretta Lynch to replace Attorney General Eric Holder.

“As soon as we finish the trafficking bill, as I’ve indicated for some time now, we’ll move to the president’s nominee for attorney general — hopefully in the next day or so,” said Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican.

Loretta Lynch has majority support in a Republican-controlled Senate and she has made it relatively clear she will uphold Obama’s laws as opposed to the Constitution despite the fact that she will be the chief law enforcement officer in the land.

Battlefield America: The War on the American People

We have entered into a particularly dismal chapter in the American narrative, one that shifts us from a swashbuckling tale of adventure into a bone-chilling horror story.

As I document in my new book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, “we the people” have now come full circle, from being held captive by the British police state to being held captive by the American police state. In between, we have charted a course from revolutionaries fighting for our independence and a free people establishing a new nation to pioneers and explorers, braving the wilderness and expanding into new territories.

Where we went wrong, however, was in allowing ourselves to become enthralled with and then held hostage by a military empire in bondage to a corporate state (the very definition of fascism). No longer would America hold the moral high ground as a champion of freedom and human rights. Instead, in the pursuit of profit, our overlords succumbed to greed, took pleasure in inflicting pain, exported torture, and imported the machinery of war, transforming the American landscape into a battlefield, complete with military personnel, tactics and weaponry.

To our dismay, we now find ourselves scrambling for a foothold as our once rock-solid constitutional foundation crumbles beneath us. And no longer can we rely on the president, Congress, the courts, or the police to protect us from wrongdoing.
