Although Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and Republicans who control the Senate are under no obligation to do so, they have agreed to grant a confirmation vote to Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s nominee to replace Eric Holder as United States Attorney General. Ms. Lynch has testified that she supports and would implement President Obama’s executive action providing de facto amnesty to illegal immigrants. This edict, which blatantly violates Obama’s oath to execute the laws faithfully, also unconstitutionally confers positive legal benefits on illegal aliens, something only Congress has the authority to do.

Yet, five Republican senators have announced that they will vote to confirm Ms. Lynch. Three have already supported her in the Judiciary Committee: Orrin Hatch (Utah), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), and Jeff Flake (Ariz). The two others are Mark Kirk (Ill.) and Susan Collins (Maine). If they follow through in the vote now scheduled for Thursday, Ms. Lynch would almost certainly have the 51 votes needed to be confirmed.

There are six points to be made about this.

Press TV, Iran’s propaganda outfit in the U.S., conducted an interview with Reza Najafi, Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to this outlet, Najafi was asked about the IAEA’s role in the potential deal.

“The agency as a professional organization, indeed, should do a professional work. It means — only from the technical point of view — reporting what has been done by Iran. Of course Iran under the Joint Plan of Action, agreed in Geneva, agreed to implement some voluntary measures.” [Bold mine]

These voluntary measures have been implemented, constantly, and it was reported by the agency, and confirmed and verified.

This is just disgusting. A “senior social media campaigner” for the DNC, Eric Reif, posted a tweet encouraging people to apply for a position on the DNC social media team.

For some inexplicable reason, Eric took the opportunity to mock Benghazi.

Four. Dead. Americans.

The posting was for a “digital writer” for the party “to create content for our email list and social media properties (think @TheDemocrats and @JoeBiden),” the job description reads.

It’s unclear why Eric Reif, who is “Senior Email Campaigner” for the DNC and previously worked for President Obama’s campaign committee, would include the acrostic in the job posting. He later deleted the tweet.

GE CEO: We Will Not Release Hillary Emails

But remember, Hillary said she wants the American people to see them. So why wouldn’t you?

General Electric (GE) CEO Jeffrey Immelt said Wednesday that he will not release the emails that GE exchanged with Hillary Clinton’s State Department during the period in which GE was donating to the Clinton Foundation.

“Again, I think that’s not something we would do. Right?” Immelt said at GE’s shareholder meeting in Oklahoma City, OK in response to a question from Justin Danhof of the National Center For Public Policy Research, who pressed the CEO to release written communications with the State Department.

Secretary of State Clinton lobbied the Algerian president in 2012 to pick GE as a contractor for Algerian power plants. GE got the Algeria deal and quickly thereafter donated to the Clinton Foundation. Clinton also lobbied on behalf of Clinton Foundation donors including Boeing and Chevron.

“I think for a global company it’s very normal business where the State Department and or other officials actually help us around the world” Immelt said in the exchange, audio of which was reviewed by TheDC. “And we do that today. We did that in the past. I hope we do that always.”

“That’s what we did. And that’s what we do today,” Immelt said.

McConnell introduces bill to extend NSA surveillance

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell introduced a bill Tuesday night to extend through 2020 a controversial surveillance authority under the Patriot Act.

The move comes as a bipartisan group of lawmakers in both chambers is preparing legislation to scale back the government’s spying powers under Section 215 of the Patriot Act.

Last week, we were forced to witness the true colors of our ultra-socialist and pro-terrorist President Barack Hussein Obama again. Fresh off of his capitulation to his Muslim brothers in Tehran with regard to the sham nuclear negotiations that threaten the annihilation of not just Israel but also our own country, he seized the opportunity at the Summit of the Americas in Panama City, Panama, to advance his dastardly plan to open full diplomatic relations with the Communist island of Cuba.

Shaking the hands of brutal and blood-thirsty dictator Raul Castro, the younger brother of Fidel Castro, a man who has waged his own version of the Holocaust against his people since the early 1960s when he seized power, Obama later in the week removed Cuba from the list of terrorist nations. Fidel and Raul Castro, the terrorist-supporting dictators, even installed Soviet nuclear weapons on the island in 1962, only to be forced to remove them later under President Kennedy’s naval blockade and the threat of a full-fledged nuclear strike by the United States. But, what makes matters worse is that Obama received nothing in return from his Communist friends.

This is typical of Obama. He is a communist and a Muslim (who gives preferential treatment to Muslims over Judeo-Christian values) at heart and has acted accordingly over the last six years since he and his administration cleverly seized power over We the People by passing himself off as an amiable mainstream liberal, a Christian, and someone who is a natural born citizen eligible to be president. Notwithstanding the ever-growing list of Obama scandals, from IRS-gate, to Benghazi-gate, to Fast and Furious-gate, to NSA/CIA-gate, to Obamacare-gate, to Amnesty-gate, and many others – where he has ignored and defied the power of Congress and subverted not just the Constitution but also the rule of law time and time again – King Hussein is now on the verge doing such permanent traitorous damage to our national security that he should be removed from office for this alone.
