New video from Hillary’s campaign reminds us of one failure after another

The most truth you get in the following video comes at the beginning, and again right at the end. That’s where you’re told that Hillary Clinton is a “fighter” who is “passionate about what she believes in,” and where you’re told by Hillary herself that she doesn’t quit.

Ain’t that the truth. She is passionate about one thing and one thing only – herself as president. And she won’t quit. No matter how completely unqualified and unprepared for the job she shows herself to be, no matter how many lies she’s caught in, no matter how sleazy her personal dealings are exposed to be . . . none of it matters. She must be president and you must make her so.

But you’ve got almost five minutes to fill here, and with nothing legitimate to say in support of the Hillary-would-be-a-great-president narrative, you might as well offer a bunch of nonsense. And she does, so what you have to do is what you always have to do with anything coming from the Clintons. You need to pay close attention and you need to know your history. Yes, she was put in charge of health care reform in 1993. And it was a complete disaster. Yes, she went to the UN to prattle on about the rights of women and girls, especially given the policies of certain countries – many of the same countries from whom she accepted massive contributions to the Clinton Foundation while granting favorable policies to the donors.

Yes, she agreed to be Obama’s Secretary of State, not because she loves her country but because she saw it as the logical stepping stone to the presidency for herself. And no, she didn’t “mend” relationships with other countries that had been “frayed.” During her tenure, she and Obama thumbed their noses at longstanding allies like Britain (Falkland Islands snub), Canada (Keystone XL pipeline foot-dragging), Poland (missile defense welch) and Israel (everything).

She also claimed in her big speech on Saturday that she “stood up to Vladimir Putin.” That one statement pretty much encapsulates everything you need to know about Hillary. Whatever she may have done that in her mind constitutes “standing up” to Putin, it obviously had no real-world effect. Ask Ukraine about that. A dumbass “reset button” intended to blame the Bush Administration for every problem with the Russians clearly solved nothing, and only a very foolish individual would ever think that it would.

This video is a perfect of example of how political consultants are willing to present a very unimpressive career in a positive light. The problem they face, of course, is that too many people know Hillary’s actual record and the real results stemming from it – and will gladly point out what a crock this is:

In Dramatic Decision Judge Finds Fed Bailout Of AIG Was “Illegal”, Government “Violated Federal

Earlier today, former AIG head Hank Greenberg’s long-running legal battle of the US government came to a dramatic end when in a 75-page ruling, U.S. Court of Claims Judge Thomas Wheeler found that Greenberg was indeed correct in claiming the government overstepped its legal boundaries in its “unduly harsh treatment of AIG in comparison to other institutions” which was “misguided and had no legitimate purpose.”

But because “the question is not whether this treatment was inequitable or unfair, but whether the government’s actions created a legal right of recovery for AIG’s shareholders” Wheeler found that Greenberg was not owed any money as AIG would have gone bankrupt without the government’s forced intervention. Greenberg was seeking at least $25 billion in damages for shareholders.

The reason for the case is that years after the initial $85 billion bailout which eventually ballooned to $182 billion, AIG – with the government’s explicit backstop and thus zero credit risk – managed to repay the government bailout funds and the government with a $22.7 billion profit. Greenberg argued that the pre-bailout equity holders deserved a piece of the pie, very much the same way that Fannie and Freddie stakeholders are also arguing they too deserve a piece of the post-government bailout pie.

However, “in the end, the Achilles’ heel of Starr’s case is that, if not for the Government’s intervention, AIG would have filed for bankruptcy. In a bankruptcy proceeding, AIG’s shareholders would most likely have lost 100 percent of their stock value” the judge found, and admitted that the pre-government bailout equity value of financial companies – since all of them were facing bankruptcy without a bailout – was zero. Hillary Clinton has done a number of despicable things to cover up what happened in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012. However, up until now, she hadn’t had the gumption to call herself the hero of the Benghazi attack.

Or so we thought. In an email Clinton sent to an aide about the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya’s second-largest city, the former secretary of state congratulated herself for her ability to “survive” the storm over Benghazi and claimed that she had “triumphed.”

The revelation came in a particularly barf-worthy piece of hagiographic nonsense posing as a profile article in Friday’s The Washington Post.

Obama is now making offers to debt-ridden municipalities that they dare not take. It’s like the devil offering you a way out and then collecting on that debt. Or, if you prefer, it’s like the mafia giving you money to solve your problems and then you owe them. Forever. The leaders in these areas won’t ask the residents and voters, they’ll let the silver cross their palms and will be blinded by the shininess of the coin they pocket. Corruption will finish selling free America down the proverbial river. I’ll be blunt… these municipalities should not be taking money from the feds. They should solve their problems at the local level, stand on their own and not be beholding to a governmental behemoth.

EPA Fails to Punish Corrupt Workers, Lets Them Keep Full Pay

The scandal-plagued agency that’s wasted millions to bring underserved and minority communities “environmental justice” fails to punish corrupt employees and allows them to keep their government paychecks, according to a new federal audit.

It involves the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which just a few years ago was investigated for dodging potential public scrutiny and possibly congressional oversight by using bogus electronic mail accounts to conduct official business. This occurred under President Obama’s first EPA administrator, Lisa Jackson, who dedicated tens of millions of dollars to an “environmental justice” movement that helps minority communities get green. Under the program the EPA has doled out large sums to leftwing community groups that help poor, minority and indigenous people increase recycling, reduce carbon emissions through “weatherization,” participate in “green jobs” training and avoid heat stroke.
