Senator Mike Lee said that a bill was passed in the Senate last week that took $150 billion dollars from Social Security; that busted spending caps to the tune of $80 billion; that took $5 billion from the crime victims’ trust fund; and will sell of a whole lot oil at historically low prices all to pay for some immediate concerns.

Sen. Paul said it’s robbing Peter to pay Paul.

It was done in the middle of the night, it was rushed, it had no committee action, there was no opportunity for review,

Only 34 Senators stood up against this.

There is no borrowing limit and these people are going to borrow at will. “It’s a debt-spending Mardi Gras if you will,” Senator Lee said.

Obama’s Secret Destruction of Our Immigration System

A newly-leaked memo from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reveals the Obama administration is seeking to sidestep a federal court injunction that suspended portions of the president’s amnesty-based initiatives known as Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). In short, Obama is determined to impose his transformational agenda on the nation by any means necessary.

According to the Hill, the document outlining the administration’s attempt to thumb its nose at the rule of law was prepared at a DHS “Regulations Retreat” last June, four months after a preliminary injunction was initially imposed by Texas Judge Andrew Hanen and subsequently left in place by a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The Fifth Circuit’s final ruling on that injunction, either confirming or reversing it, is expected to occur in a matter of days.

Juvenile Delinquents Shall Henceforth Be Called “Justice-Involved Youth”

As noted previously, criminals must not be called “criminals,” because that would be offensive. Likewise, underage criminals must not be called “juvenile delinquents,” lest it hurt their sensitive feelings. Call them instead “justice-involved youth”:

“The Department of Justice is committed to giving justice-involved youth the tools they need to become productive members of society,” Attorney General Loretta Lynch said in a news release on Monday.

Lynch said the Justice Department and the Department of Housing and Urban Development are launching a $1.7-million initiative to help Public Housing Authorities and legal assistance groups “reduce barriers for justice-involved youth.”

What exactly does this mean, other than that taxpayers are out another wasted $1.7 million? No one knows — unless you can make sense of this:

Through the new Juvenile Re-Entry Assistance Program, DOJ and HUD will work collaboratively “to help individuals that have paid their debt to society rehabilitate and reintegrate back into their communities.”

Unfortunately it was their integration into these dysfunctional, fatherless, welfare-created communities that caused them to be juvenile delinquents justice-involved youth in the first place.

They ought to issue a new edition each day.

Syrian refugees beginning to arrive in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) – The flood of refugees migrating from the terror in Syria and Afghanistan has begun to have a trickle effect in the New Orleans area.

But some have argued against the U.S. accepting Syrian refugees, fearing terrorists might slip through the cracks. We turned to former New Orleans FBI chief and anti-terrorism expert Jim Bernazzani for insight on whether that’s a legitimate concern. Before coming to New Orleans, Bernazzani worked to ramp up the nation’s anti-terror strategies after 911.

“If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I’d take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States,” Bernazzani said. “Now with that said, the FBI is on top of this big time with our Joint Terrorism Task Force and we have what’s called a Terrorist Screening Center that these individuals will be run through.”
