Democrats, Media Were Silent When Obama Fired Mattis

Defense Secretaries come and go. Obama had four of them in 8 years who had some unkind things to say about his leadership or lack of it. There was no talk of chaos or of the only adult in the room leaving. Suddenly the media is in meltdown after “Mad Dog” Mattis announced his departure from the Cabinet after President Trump announced our departure from Syria:

Foreign Policy Pentagon reporter Lara Seligman wrote the press corp is contemplating suicide over Mattis’ resignation, “I think I speak for all national security reporters tonight when I say I’m about ready to jump off a cliff. But at least I already wrote the “who will replace Mattis” story two months (only two months?????) ago @ForeignPolicy

Democrats who won’t defend our southern border and who slept as Obama drew red lines in the sand with vanishing ink worry about an ISIS Obama created by a precipitous withdrawal from Iraq regaining strength and reforming in Syria and Iraq. The general Obama fired is suddenly a man of principle whose leadership was indispensable:

Syria’s use of chemical weapons should frighten you about obama’s deal with Iran

Christopher Kozak, a Syria analyst at the Institute for the Study of War, agreed the strike was a necessary development toward reestablishing U.S. deterrence, but stressed that the administration needs to persist in deterrent measures to reap lasting results.

“The key point is that outside actors are going to be perceiving that this is a world where the U.S. and the White House will be willing to use military force in order to assert itself in a way that the U.S. has not been doing for quite some time now,” Kozak said in an interview.

“But if this isn’t followed through with a larger strategy to achieve our national security objectives, if it’s not followed through with sustained pressure on Assad and his backers, then it really accomplishes little and may even be counterproductive depending on the reactions its provokes from other actors,” he added.

Kozak and Schanzer emphasized the need for the administration to take on Syria with a two-pronged strategy that addresses both the Islamic State and the Assad regime. Kozak said the administration will fail in its fight against ISIS unless it deploys diplomatic and military action to strike a negotiated settlement between the Syrian government and rebel groups.

Even Fareed Zakaria was impressed:

Trump’s actions also brought out the mental illness in democrats. Lawrence O’Donnell went off the rails:

O’Donnell said, “[W]ouldn’t it be nice if it was just completely, totally, absolutely impossible to suspect that Vladimir Putin orchestrated what happened in Syria this week so that his friend in the White House could have a big night, with missiles, and all of the praise he’s picked up over the last 24 hours? Wouldn’t it be so nice if you couldn’t even in your wildest dreams imagine a scenario like that?”

Another idiot democrat (but I repeat myself) suggested that Trump might have been distracting from his collusion with Putin by destroying tens of millions of dollars in Putin’s assets. You can’t make this stuff up.

How many more Lies are we Really Willing to Accept from our Politicians?

truth _lies

Family Security Matters

by WALLACE S. BRUSCHWEILER, WILLIAM PALUMBO

The lies from this administration are well-known and numerous.  Among only some of the most infamous: If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.  ISIS is a non-threat, the “JV team.”  The economy is in great shape after years of sustained recovery, and unemployment is at a de minimis 5%.  Daily life over the past seven and a half years and the six o’clock news will relieve you of these fictions.

The Barack Hussein Obama administration’s deceit is deployed deliberately to assuage our deepest fears concerning the state of our country and the world.  The administration’s disinformation campaign will continue at least until the election, meaning that the citizens have seven more months of utter falsehoods whose origin is their own White House.

In recent days, another three lies have made the headlines on television and other media outlets:

Kerry’s Fraudulent Diplomacy

Secure Freedom Minute fsm logo

SECURE FREEDOM MINUTE

Secretary of State John Kerry has done it again. He has announced a diplomatic “breakthrough” promising hope of tangible achievement on a vexing national security or humanitarian problem.

But, as with his previous exploits – notably, his agreement with the Russians to eliminate Syria’s chemical weapons and his so-called nuclear “deal” with Iran – his successes are illusions, giving the appearance of progress for U.S. and Western interests, but actually undermining them.

The just-announced “suspension of hostilities” in Syria is such a fraud. It won’t kick in, if at all, for another week. And even after that the Russians are free to continue bombing and other operations against “terrorists.” But Vladimir Putin’s definition of terrorism includes anyone opposed to the regime of his client, Bashir Assad.

Sadly, Kerry’s latest deal will perpetuate the civil war in Syria, not suspend, let alone end it.

Exactly what the hell has Obama been bombing for the last couple of years?

Flopping Aces

One of the very few honest things Barack Obama ever said came when he admitted he had no plan for ISIS.

President Obama is facing intense criticism for admitting Thursday “we don’t have a strategy yet” for dealing with Islamic State militants in Syria, despite warnings from top military advisers and others that the group must be confronted on that side of the border.

The president made the comment during a briefing with reporters in which he overtly played down the prospect of any imminent military action in Syria. He tried to temper speculation that he was about to roll out a “full scale” strategy, one that might expand the current, limited airstrike campaign in northern Iraq.

Initially he pledged to destroy ISIS, but then did what he does so very well- he backed down:

Syrian refugees beginning to arrive in New Orleans

Free Republic

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) – The flood of refugees migrating from the terror in Syria and Afghanistan has begun to have a trickle effect in the New Orleans area.

**SNIP**

But some have argued against the U.S. accepting Syrian refugees, fearing terrorists might slip through the cracks. We turned to former New Orleans FBI chief and anti-terrorism expert Jim Bernazzani for insight on whether that’s a legitimate concern. Before coming to New Orleans, Bernazzani worked to ramp up the nation’s anti-terror strategies after 911.

“If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I’d take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States,” Bernazzani said. “Now with that said, the FBI is on top of this big time with our Joint Terrorism Task Force and we have what’s called a Terrorist Screening Center that these individuals will be run through.”

Right now Obama is Putin’s bitch.

Today Vladimir Putin is the strongest leader and the most powerful man in the world. Barack Obama has capitulated to Iran. World wide, he’s done. He’s left the building. He’s running out the clock. And he’s getting his ass kicked everywhere.

American adversaries sense Obama’s weakness and are flexing their muscles. Look at the headlines

Pentagon loses track of $500 million in weapons, equipment given to Yemen

Jihad Watch

There are “fears that the weaponry, aircraft and equipment is at risk of being seized by Iranian-backed rebels or al-Qaeda, according to U.S. officials.” Combine this with the weapons Obama gave to “moderate rebels” in Syria that are now being used by the Islamic State, and the U.S. has provided weapons to a significant segment of the global jihad.

US – Iran nuclear deal may be dead on arrival and should be

Family Security Matters

by LAWRENCE SELLIN, PHD, MAJ. GEN. PAUL E. VALLELY, US ARMY (RET)

The most recent talks in Geneva between US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif may have completed a major step toward a landmark nuclear accord that the Obama Administration believes will diminish Tehran’s pathways to a nuclear weapon. The potential deal, as reported by the AP and The New York Times, would impose uranium stockpile and enrichment limitations on Iran, and Tehran would have to submit to a restrictive verification and inspection regime for a period of 10 to 15 years. In return, sanctions on Iran would be lifted, and its status as a uranium-enriching nation would be prescribed under international law.

Israeli Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz stated , however, that if the emerging US – Iran nuclear agreement did not include measures preventing any nuclear cooperation with North Korea or other rogue states, it would be meaningless, referring to North Korea’s previous clandestine and illegal nuclear projects in Syria – “We all know that Iran, Syria and North Korea are very close to each other,” he said.

Yet the Obama Administration appears to ignore this potential loophole in order to conclude an agreement acceptable to Iran. Unless specifically prohibited and enforced within the terms and conditions, Tehran may attempt to sidestep the protocols by “outsourcing'” parts of the bomb production process to North Korea, Iran’s long-term partner on everything from launch missiles to guidance systems to nuclear war head technology and other required components.
