Awesome: Gun Maker Directly Challenges Eric Holder to His Face

Conservative Tribune

When liberals have the opportunity to restrict individual liberty, they take it. One of the most important freedoms they go after is the Second Amendment right of all Americans to keep and bear arms, because it’s a lot easier to deprive people of their rights when they can’t fight back.

Constitutional conservatives are pushing back, however, against Democratic efforts to “rein in” gun rights with a national campaign, led by Chuck Norris, to elect gun supporters this November.

Gun rights advocates are also gun safety advocates, however, as firearms–like automobiles or fire–are a powerful tool that can cause injury when misused.

One such advocate is Kodiak Arms President W.P. Gentry, whose company has developed “Intelligun” technology to prevent firearms from being used by unauthorized individuals using fingerprint recognition software.

What Gentry says the technology won’t be used for, however, is to limit American freedom, according to WesternJournalism.com.

Gentry, along with representatives from several other gun manufacturers, was invited to speak with Attorney General Eric Holder to discuss his invention. He says it soon became clear that Holder saw his invention as a way to limit Americans’ access to guns, not a safety device.

Gentry says he told the attorney general that he’d destroy his smart-gun technology before he let the government use it against the American people. “I stopped him right there,” Gentry recalls, “[…] and told him, ‘If you try to mandate my smart-gun technology, I’ll burn it down.’”

“The Intelligun is designed to save lives,” he added, “not restrict freedom.”

Gentry could actually have said that about practically any firearm-related invention since the crossbow. The ultimate goal of any weapon is to save lives by deterring criminals or foreign powers and, when that fails, to deter the next criminal or foreign power by a show of strength.

Men like Holder and President Barack Obama do not understand that principle, however, preferring to rely on sweet reason to resolve armed conflicts on any scale.

We prefer that, too, actually, except for one drawback: it doesn’t always work.

  1. Anti gun politicians are also anti America as we understand it.If we were totally disarmed they would pass laws that would destroy America. As long as we are armed they are afraid we would go looking for them armed to protect America. They are fully aware the second amendment was created to stop a corrupt or out of control government ! They want control As long as honest people have guns they cant take over ! This they hate.! Just look what Hussain has done already. HUSSAIN !!!! I love his name it says alot !

    • If you go through history, every country that has dis-armed its citizens has tried to destroy them. Barry and the Liberals are no different.

  2. I have to admit I would have been a little more “in your face” with Holder if it was my invention. All anyone has to do is look at the areas that have the most restrictive gun laws across our country- those are the areas that have the worst gun or extreme violent criminal activities.

    • Low information voters don’t know this and the media won’t report it. They think you should trust the gov’t.

  3. And by the time Obumma declares a “State of Emergency” it will be too late for 3/4 of this country
