Did We Learn Anything From 9/11?

Or are we still sleeping?

Two things happened in 2001.

Islamic terrorists carried out their most successful attack on America with the murder of 2,977 people. And the number of immigrants obtaining permanent residency passed a million for the first time in a decade. Before 2001, a million plus was a streak that might linger for a few years before falling back.

These days it’s the new normal. Aside from one blip, we’ve been riding the million plus train for over a decade. The resistance to that trend is currently the one thing we seem to have learned from 9/11.

After decades of being massacred by terrorists who have come here as tourists, refugees and immigrants, we are finally trying to close the door on travelers from Islamic terrorist states.

And it only took 16 years.

That’s because learning nothing from the past has been our specialty.

Dhimmitude: Get to know what it is

Family Security Matters

by VICTOR SHARPE

Editor’s Note: This article was first published by us in 2015. With the state of terrorism and the terrorist attacks that are happening in the streets of our cities around the world, we have decided it was worth repeating.

Ask people in the United States what a dhimmi is and perhaps a handful might know. In Europe, and as far as India and the far east, the number would be higher because of latent memories of battles fought against invading Moslem armies across the span of centuries.

For a while there was the specter of triumphant Islam building a giant mosque mere yards from Ground Zero in New York City where Islamic fanatics, in the name of Allah, destroyed the World Trade Center and brought the two magnificent towers down in a cascade of horror.

The mosque would have risen to thirteen or more stories and overlooked the blasted hole in the ground that was once a symbol of America’s freedom and technical ingenuity.

If this outrage had been built, it would not have been a symbol of Muslim outreach to non-Moslems; it would have been a sickening insult to the victims of Islamic barbarism and a tangible rallying cry to millions more jihadists who would see it as Islam’s victory over a vanquished United States of America.

Terrorism and the Missing Southeast Asia Flights

CFP

This article is simply the offspring of observation, and speculation regarding those observations.

The AirAsia flight that recently vanished, without a word, was being flown by Captain Iriyanto, a devout and active Muslim (and his co-pilot was a Muslim-French National).  The pilot of the Malaysian flight that vanished without a word was also a devout Muslim, as was his co-pilot.

Both were experienced flyers, and experts found it to be conceivable that they could have avoided the tragedies that befell them and the dead passengers under their care.  Experts found it inconceivable that communications simply went dark, and they simply lost touch with the flights and then had to search for the flights for an extended period of time before discovering the fateful ends of the AirAsia flight, and never discovering the wreckage of the Malaysia flight.

Was the disappearance of these flights, and the nose dive of the first flight into the ocean, and the disappearance of the second, just a tragedy, or do they have anything in common with the flights that nose dived into twin towers, a Pennsylvania field, and the Pentagon, on September 11, 2001?  When the first flight hit the World Trade Center we exclaimed, “What an awful accident!”  When the second plane hit, and we saw the images, we exclaimed, “This was done on purpose!”  When the first plane from the Indonesian region vanished under dubious circumstances, we cried out how unfortunate of an accident it was (well, some of us suspected foul play, in defiance to the politically correct narrative being pushed by the media).  Now that there has been a second flight that suddenly vanished, similar in circumstances, and similar in the membership to Islam in regards to the pilots, should we once again say it was a tragic accident?  Or should we come to the same conclusion we came to when the second plane hit the twin towers, and realize it was done on purpose?

Our Very Own “Nation of Islam”

Family Security Matters

Before 9/11 – 2001, that is, how many years have passed, and there is still no “closure”! – Islamists were of no concern to Americans. Well, a liberal politician or columnist might retort, maybe except for the botched World Trade Center bombing of 1993, when only six people were killed. Less than a handful. Nothing to worry about. The WTC recovered. People got on with their lives, up until, well, 9/11. As far as blaming Muslims and jihadists is concerned, anything that happened before 9/11 is just a blank page.

But wait! There’s more! Brush the cobwebs from your memories. Those of us with non-porous memories will remember: Muslims have been waging a murderous war in the name of Islam, and even in the name of racism, since at least 1972! Oh, come on!

Oh, yes.

Judge Rules Against Atheists, WTC Cross Can Stay In 9/11 Memorial…

Weasel Zippers

Sanity prevails.

Via NY Post:

A New York judge has tossed out a lawsuit seeking to stop the display of a cross-shaped steel beam found among the World Trade Center’s wreckage.

Federal judge Deborah Batts on Friday rejected the arguments of a national atheists’ group.

American Atheists had sued the National September 11 Memorial & Museum’s operators in 2011 on constitutional grounds.

The judge says the decision to include the artifact in the Sept. 11 museum did not advance religion impermissibly. She also says it does not create excessive entanglement between the state and religion. And she noted that the cross helps tell part of the history of Sept. 11.

A Politically Incorrect Assessment Of 9/11

Western Journalism

Eleven years ago this month, 19 Muslim hijackers boarded four American jetliners and proceeded to kill about 3000 innocent human beings. Women, babies, and children all died  in a series of fiery explosions, or jumped to their deaths as a result of this action. We were told eventually that this was an attack by radical Muslims against the United States. We obviously had not heeded the the warning of the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993. This time, “they” succeeded in bringing down the towers (and America’s false sense of security with it.)

Islam Did Attack Us on September 11

Right Side News

From a technical standpoint, Mayor Bloomberg is correct. In the sense that all of Islam did not get together in four airplanes and fly them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. In that same sense, Japan did not attack Pearl Harbor, only a few hundred Japanese people did, under the command of the Japanese Air Force. So too, in that particular instance 19 Muslims, under the command of an international Muslim group hijacked the planes and killed over 3,000 people. But in the aftermath of Pearl Harbor, the United States didn’t declare war on a few hundred Japanese pilots, or the Japanese air force. We declared war on Japan.

rubbleOn 9/11, Al Qaeda did not act in the name of 19 people, or ten thousand or so followers. It acted in the name of Islam. And while anyone can claim to do anything in the name of Islam, Al Qaeda was not some random fringe group. Al Qaeda drew its ideological support from the Muslim Brotherhood, the largest Muslim political group in the world. It and its allies drew on financial support from the governments of some of the world’s largest and most influential Muslim countries in the world, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. These are countries which compromise some 200 million Muslims.

They won’t build it! Hardhats vow not to work on controversial mosque near Ground Zero

New York Daily News

A growing number of New York construction workers are vowing not to work on the mosque planned near Ground Zero.

“It’s a very touchy thing because they want to do this on sacred ground,” said Dave Kaiser, 38, a blaster who is working to rebuild the World Trade Center site.

“I wouldn’t work there, especially after I found out about what the imam said about U.S. policy being responsible for 9/11,” Kaiser said.
