We drove Saddam’s Yellowcake to Baghdad Airport

Socialism is not the Answer

There has been a lot of talk about WMD in Iraq before we invaded. Most saw the photos but if you remember they were on trucks being transported. Anyone care to guess where they were going? How about Syria? For those who follow the news, we know there were WMD’s in Iraq. Why am I so sure you ask? Because the US gave them to Iraq when Iraq was fighting Iran.

Think about it and while you are thinking about it, read the story below.

A BLAST FROM THE PAST

Family Security Matters

As someone who led the company that transported 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium-enough to make fourteen Hiroshima-size bombs-from Saddam’s nuclear complex in the Iraq War’s notorious “Triangle of Death” for air shipment out of the country, I know Baathist Iraq’s WMD potential existed. In early 2008, we secretly moved over several nights 140 truckloads carrying 5500 barrels of extremely heavy radioactive material provided to Iraq as part of the French-supplied Osiraq reactor destroyed by Israeli fighter bombers in 1981. The virulently anti-Semitic Saddam had announced “here begins the Arab bomb” and the Israelis took him at his word.

Fox News

American troops were exposed to chemical weapons multiple times in the years following the 2003 invasion of Iraq, while the Pentagon kept their discoveries of the expired or degraded weapons secret from investigators, fellow soldiers, and military doctors, according to a published report.

The New York Times reported late Tuesday that American troops reported finding approximately 5,000 chemical warheads, shells, or aviation bombs in the years following the 2003 invasion of Iraq. On at least six occasions, soldiers were wounded by those weapons, which had been manufactured before 1991. In all, the paper reported that 17 U.S. soldiers and seven Iraqi police officers were exposed to chemical agents during the war. The U.S. government said its number was slightly higher, but did not release a specific figure.

The paper reported that most of the agents were discovered around the Muthanna State Establishment northwest of Baghdad, which had been a center of chemical weapons production in the 1980s. The complex has been held by Islamic State militants since June. The Iraqi government told the United Nations that approximately 2,500 chemical rockets remained on the grounds of the facility when it had fallen to the militants.

Breaking>>> Former DHS Secretary: Al-Qaeda WMD Testing Lab Found in Afghanistan

Gateway Pundit

Former Secretary of Homeland Security under President George W. Bush, Michael Chertoff, was on The Kelly File last Thursday to discuss the threat of ISIS on the US homeland.

Chertoff told Megyn Kelly Al-Qaeda had been experimenting with WMD in Afghanistan labs.

“If we don’t eliminate the problem now it is only going to get worse. And, when we went into Afghanistan after 9-11 we found laboratories where Al-Qaeda was experimenting to try to come up with weapons of mass destruction. If we let ISIS build a state, build laboratories, sell oil and raise money, we’re going to be facing an enemy that is more formidable than we faced on 9-11.”

ISIS terrorists seized Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons stockpile at the Al Muthanna facility in June.

Satellite Photos Support Testimony That Iraqi WMD Went to Syria

Pajamas Media

Ha’aretz has revived the mystery surrounding the inability to find weapons of mass destruction stockpiles in Iraq, the most commonly cited justification for Operation Iraqi Freedom and one of the most embarrassing episodes for the United States. Satellite photos of a suspicious site in Syria are providing new support for the reporting of a Syrian journalist who briefly rocked the world with his reporting that Iraq’s WMD had been sent to three sites in Syria just before the invasion commenced.

The newspaper reveals that a 200 square-kilometer area in northwestern Syria has been photographed by satellites at the request of a Western intelligence agency at least 16 times, the most recent being taken in January. The site is near Masyaf, and it has at least five installations and hidden paths leading underneath the mountains. This supports the reporting of Nizar Nayouf, an award-winning Syrian journalist who said in 2004 that his sources confirmed that Saddam Hussein’s WMDs were in Syria.
