The Confederate Battle flag is being cleansed in a Stalinist purge, being banned from sale by major businesses including Walmart, Amazon and Google Shops.
Yet those merchants are still selling goods glorifying the late mass-murdering communist leader Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara despite complaints and petitions from customers. One of the petitions was started by a woman who says her grandfather in Cuba was executed by Guevara.
Walmart is still selling seventeen posters and fine art prints of Guevara since The Gateway Pundit first reported on Walmart last month.
Amazon is selling 853 posters and prints, 397 flags and 1,091 t-shirts of Guevara.
Sears is selling over 500 Che Guevara items numerous including posters, prints and t-shirts.
Google Shops, which banned Confederate battle flag merchandise, is still promoting sales of Che Guevara merchandise.
At the petition site Change.org there are two petitions calling on Walmart to stop selling Che Guevara merchandise and one calling on Amazon to do the same.
Another petition calls on retailers to stop selling all items promoting communism including Che Guevara items.
The first Walmart petition was started by Yoani Suarez on June 29 with the title and message:
“Stop selling Che Guevara merchandise”
“Walmart should stop selling Che Guevara merchandise because he was a murderer in the Cuban revolution. She(sic) killed thousands of Afro – Cubans because he was a racist. If Walmart is going to stop selling Confederate states flag they should stop selling Che Guevara Merchandise.”
The second Walmart petition was started by Barbara Rangel on July 1 with the title and message:
“Stop selling merchandise of the assassin Che Guevara”
“Che Guevara was an Argentinian mercenary that murdered thousands of innocent people including my grandfather Col. Cornelio Rojas who was the chief of police in Santa Clara , Cuba . His execution was televised and was denied the opportunity of a fair trial . Che Guevara murdered him by firing squad to terrorize the Cuban people and to show them what would happen to anyone that opposed the Castro’s communist ideals .”
The Amazon petition was started by Robert Hruska on July 2 and with the title and message:
“Stop selling merchandise glorifying Che Guevara”
“Che Guevara glorified the idea of nuclear war against civilians. He said:
“If the nuclear missiles had remained [in Cuba], we would have used them against the very heart of America, including New York City…We will march the path of victory even if it costs millions of atomic victims…We must keep our hatred alive and fan it to paroxysm.”
“He was a racist, who said:
“”The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing, have seen their territory invaded by a new kind of slave: the Portuguese.”
“And also:
““The black is indolent and a dreamer; spending his meager wage on frivolity or drink; the European has a tradition of work and saving.”
““He was a proud Maoist Communist, and said that there was “not a single discrepancy” between Mao’s world view and his own. In China, Chairman Mao killed an estimated 40 million Chinese in his quest to implement his brand of Communism.
“Finally, Che Guevara oversaw many executions (at least 500) of political prisoners in Cuba’s La Cabaña Prison.
“Murder, genocide and political executions have no place in the American dialogue.
