Before the 2012 election we re-posted: Can It All ‘Really’ Be Coincidence?  But I think this is a good time to re-post, update and re-read this piece… with a few enhancements, while we still have the opportunity to fight back… (although before the final certification of the election might have been better) for the coincidences just keep coming and before his second inauguration, Obama and team are moving full speed ahead in implementing their goals… continued spending, demonizing their opponents using the Cloward and Piven method and  Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, gun control, and ruling by executive orders, just for a starter.  (Much of which was outlined in the President’s final press conference of his first term) Please take some time to read this, especially if you missed it the first time around, or at least scan the links and related articles below as well.  Ask Marion~

Can It All ‘Really’ Be Coincidence?

As I noted in the introduction to my book, The Obama Timeline: From his Birth in 1961 Through his First 100 Days in Office, a jury at a murder trial will often find the accumulated circumstantial evidence so overwhelming that a guilty verdict is obvious—even though there may be no witness to the crime. “The jurors in the Scott Peterson trial believed the collection of evidence more than they believed Scott Peterson. Among other things, the jury thought that being arrested with $15,000 in cash, recently-dyed hair, a newly-grown goatee, four cell phones, camping equipment, a map to a new girlfriend’s house, a gun, and his brother’s driver’s license certainly did not paint a picture of a grieving husband who had nothing to do with his pregnant wife’s disappearance and murder.”

Whether or not any of these troubling examples will lead to Obama’s impeachment and/or imprisonment, only time will tell. Regardless, taken together they paint a picture of an out of control President who lacks basic American values and has little to no respect for the rule of law

When Stephanie Cutter, the deputy campaign manager for President Obama’s  reelection, alleged that Gov. Mitt Romney may have committed a felony by  providing false information in Securities and Exchange Commission filings, she  revealed how desperate the president is to gain political support.

Ms. Cutter’s unjustified and completely unfounded assertion reminds me of the  many felony crimes our president has admitted to committing. President Obama has  written in his two autobiographies about smoking van loads of marijuana and  using cocaine. Both the possession, use and transfer of marijuana and cocaine  are felonies, but Cutter gives her man a pass.

Hailed by prosecutors as a “wake-up call,” Antoin Rezko was sentenced to 10½  years in prison today for extorting millions of dollars from firms seeking state  business or regulatory approval while he was a top fundraiser and adviser to  then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Rezko’s daughter broke down sobbing as U.S.  District Judge Amy St. Eve handed down the sentence, telling Rezko his “selfish  and corrupt actions” had damaged the trust people have in their government.

Our entire country, indeed the world, mourns the victims of the savage attack in Tucson that left six dead, including an esteemed federal judge and beautiful nine-year-old Christina Taylor Green; 14 seriously wounded; and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords fighting for her life after a bullet from the gun of her crazed killer and apparent stalker Jared Loughner entered and then exited her brain.

While millions of words have been written about this unspeakable tragedy, I write here of another mourning, specifically the agony of the left at having irrevocably lost the American public, and with that loss their grandiose ambitions of turning our Democratic Republic into a Communist stronghold.

Simply, the leftists-cum-progressives among us have never recovered from their thundering defeat in the midterm elections of November 2—not just 63 seats in the House and six in the Senate, but also an overwhelming number of Republican governorships and control over more state legislative seats than any time since 1928.

Obama’s credibility crisis

Hard on the heels of that shocking Pew Research Center survey finding that four out of five Americans don’t trust government comes a blitz of new revelations about the Obama administration that amount to a full-fledged credibility crisis. The latest disclosures are especially damaging because they concern President Obama’s possible misrepresentation of his relationships with former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and convicted felon Tony Rezko, his administration’s misleading statements about Obamacare costs, and questions about improper manipulation of government-owned General Motors and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Blagojevich revelations were no less serious for being accidental. Blagojevich’s defense attorneys filed a federal court motion to subpoena Obama concerning charges that the former governor tried to sell the U.S. Senate seat formerly occupied by the chief executive. Improper formatting of the heavily redacted public version of the motion contained evidence that Obama spoke to Blagojevich about the Senate appointment a week before telling White House reporters that he had not done so. The document also revealed that federal prosecutors are withholding from Blagojevich’s attorneys documents describing what Obama told investigators about conversations with Rezko on the appointment or his financial ties to the Chicago developer who was one of his key fundraisers.

On Obamacare, the president and his appointees said repeatedly over the last year that it would reduce government health care spending. Yet now comes Kathleen Sebelius, Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services secretary, confessing that “We don’t know how much it’s going to cost.” Why is Sebelius only now saying this when her own department just made public a report obviously months in preparation that projected government health care costs overall will go up, not down? That same HHS report also said Obamacare’s Medicare cuts could put 15 percent of all hospitals out of business, making treatment harder to get and more expensive, especially for seniors.

Finally, General Motors claimed in national advertisements this week that it repaid its Troubled Asset Relief Program loans, plus interest, five years early. But the TARP inspector general said GM used other TARP funds to repay its original TARP loans, so the ads were fundamentally dishonest. Recall here that White House adviser Carol Browner told GM and other automakers to “write nothing down” about their dealings last year with administration officials on fuel economy standards. So it seems entirely appropriate to ask if GM’s repayment claims were “suggested” by somebody in the Obama White House. That would be the same White House that is also now suspected of improperly influencing the SEC to file fraud charges against Goldman Sachs just as Congress debates Obama’s financial reform proposal. As the Obama administration will learn, plummeting public trust eats away at the fundamental credibility of government and undermines its ability to carry out even its most basic duties.
