SEAL TEAM SIX – EXTORTION 17 “A COVER UP?”

Streamed live on May 20, 2015

WOW, watch author Don Brown blow the lid off of the official government report about the tragic shoot down of SEAL TEAM SIX helicopter, Code Name – Extortion 17.

On August 6, 2011—three months after members of Navy SEAL Team Six killed Osama Bin Laden—Taliban forces took down a United States helicopter, call sign “Extortion 17.” The attack killed the Air National Guard crew, seven unidentified members of the Afghan military, and seventeen members of Navy SEAL Team Six—warrior brothers from the same Team that had killed Osama Bin Laden just ninety days prior.

Were the seven Afghan soldiers aboard that helicopter really undercover Taliban who either maneuvered the chopper within easy range of being shot down or sabotaged it from within? Were the SEALs sacrificed on the altar of political correctness and deliberately flown into a known Taliban hot zone?

Don Brown, a former U.S. Navy JAG officer stationed at the Pentagon and a former special assistant United States attorney, re-creates the wartime action, tells the life stories of the elite warriors our nation lost on that day, and tears apart the official military explanation of the incident contained in the infamous Colt Report, which reveals either gross incompetence or a massive cover-up.

One way of reinventing reality is to warp the meaning of words. No president in memory has waged such a war on the English language as has Barack Obama — changing the meaning of vocabulary to hide what he fears might otherwise be unpopular.

Take executive orders. He brags that he does not issue them as commonly as his predecessors, but that is only true because Obama has now renamed some of his executive orders presidential “memoranda.” Add up both categories, and no president in the last half-century has so frequently bypassed Congress to unilaterally make new or ignore existing laws.

Silence on Bowe Bergdahl, months after Army investigation concludes

Free Republic

Six months after the military began an investigation into the disappearance of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl and his capture by the Taliban, which held him for five years, the results remain under wraps as senior Army officials determine what to do next.

Bergdahl was recovered in Afghanistan by U.S. troops in a controversial swap for five Taliban officials on May 31. He had disappeared from his small patrol base on June 30, 2009, under a cloud of suspicion and fear as it became clear he been captured by militants.

The Army in June launched a new investigation into Bergdahl’s disappearance and capture, amid a raft of accusations from his fellow soldiers that he walked away from his unit on the battlefield and questions about whether the Obama administration handled the prisoner swap legally. But six months later there is silence about the probe from all corners.

Army Lt. Col. Alayne Conway, a spokeswoman at Army headquarters, and Army Col. Steve Warren, a spokesman for the Pentagon, both said Monday that they had no updates about the case. Bergdahl’s lawyer, Eugene R. Fidell, declined to comment. Fidell, a military justice expert who teaches at Yale University, was hired in July.

Obama Brings Taliban Chief Irek Hamidullin to US for Trial to Provide Same Civil Rights as US Citizens

Freedom Outpost
The treachery of Obama. The rout of the Democrats in the recent election has clearly taught Barack Obama nothing. The American people unequivocally declared to President Obama that we are on to him. And he shouted back, “Who cares?”

obama-burns-constitution

He has always held the American people in contempt, but now it’s official presidential policy. Now he is sending troops back to Iraq. Apparently the decision was made to send these troops back in September, but Obama held off on announcing it until after the election – in a Friday night news dump.

So now we know that for him nothing is sacred, not even human life. Under Obama, war is politics – and if it’s not politically expedient, then victims, nations and freedom be damned.

Meanwhile, Obama is continuing his jihad to close the prison housing jihad terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, despite realities on the ground and the escalating war on the West by devout Muslim armies. He has released deadly jihadists from Gitmo, only to have them rejoin the mujahadeen and wage holy war.

But this latest act of treason takes Obama’s treachery to a whole other level. Obama has brought Irek Hamidullin, a commander in the Taliban, a murderer of American troops, to the United States for a civilian trial. Read that again. Irek Hamidullin is the first military detainee from Afghanistan to be brought to the U.S. for trial. He is given the same civil rights as an American citizen.

Obama Paid Money to Al Qaeda for Bergdahl Release

Free Republic

Except it didn’t work.

In a letter to the Pentagon released Wednesday, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.) said a payment was made to an Afghan intermediary early this year to help secure the May 31 release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was held for nearly five years by the Haqqani Network in Pakistan, which is classified as a terrorist organization.

Pentagon officials have denied paying cash to secure the release of Sgt. Bergdahl, who was captured in Afghanistan in 2009. A senior defense official reiterated that denial when asked about Mr. Hunter’s letter.

According to Mr. Hunter, the intermediary took the money but disappeared and failed to secure Sgt. Bergdahl’s release. Mr. Hunter didn’t specify how much money was paid to the Afghan intermediary, and didn’t identify the sources of his information.

The Haqqani Network is worse than the Taliban in some ways. It’s a lot closer to Al Qaeda to the extent of nearly being it. It’s also responsible for killing a lot of people.

Funding it is worse than funding the Taliban. But on top of that, the whole thing also fell through which makes the entire operation look more like clown college than ever with the whole thing culminating in the release of top Taliban leaders.

Obama has been on his high horse about the Europeans paying ransoms to ISIS and other Al Qaeda groups. He has a point. That money helped it become a major threat. But his position is going to be significantly undermined if it turns out that the US was paying ransoms.

Furthermore Qatar’s involvement already looks like plausible deniability payments with the Qataris paying the money while getting benefits from their relationship with the administration. If actual money changed hands to HQ or someone associated with them, that means that Obama has come dangerously close to funding Al Qaeda.

Allen West is Right: Barack H. Obama is On the Side of the Islamists

Conservative Tribune

It has been suggested for years that President Obama is “purposely enabling the Islamist cause.”

Former Florida Congressman and Retired Lt. Colonel Allen West has now provided evidence to support this claim, according to the TPNN.

West provides a number of examples which he says show that the Obama administration has been “working counter to the security of the United States of America.”

A problem Obama desperately wants you to forget about

American Thinker

President Obama is betting on the short attention span of the American public and a compliant media in hopes that the problem of Bowe Bergdahl will just fade away.  Obama infamously traded five senior leaders of the Taliban in exchange for Bergdahl’s sorry butt released from captivity.

Justice delayed may be justice denied, but Obama is no doubt keen to have delay after delay prevent a reckoning for the deserter Bergdahl. Paul Sperry, writing in the New York Post lets us know the tactics being deployed to keep a trial for Bergdahl from happening, or at least delay it until after November.

Three and a half months have come and gone and the Pentagon has offered no clarity on what happened to alleged Army deserter and Taliban collaborator Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Fellow soldiers and other critics fear the military’s now-delayed investigation is shaping up to be a whitewash. (snip)

In a sign Bergdahl may indeed get off with a slap on the wrist, the Army has delayed its AR 15-6 investigation into his disappearance — a development that Bergdahl’s attorneys see as helpful to their client.

The Army investigator, Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl, was supposed to submit his findings to brass last month but has asked for an extension. The probe was limited to a 60-day window, which ended Aug. 15. There’s no longer a deadline attached, which means the investigation could drag out past the November election.

Dahl last month interviewed Bergdahl at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, in what his lawyer described as an “entirely nonconfrontational” meeting.

Critics doubt Dahl has the skills to conduct a proper interrogation. “No general does this. They have no training,” said the Army official, who requested anonymity upon describing Dahl as a “yes-man.”

This is outrageous. The message being sent to our active duty military is that you can be a traitor and escape punishment if the president finds it politically convenient. This could sow seeds of distrust among people who daily face life threatening situations. If the president wants to destroy our military morale and effectiveness, this is a damn good way to do it.

Hagel Admits Obama Ignored Law in Taliban Release

Washington Free Beacon

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel admitted that “the trust has been broken” between the White House and Congress following the Obama administration’s decision to skirt U.S. law and release five top Taliban leaders without first consulting with lawmakers.

Hagel admitted to lawmakers on the House Armed Services Committee Wednesday that the administration unilaterally inked a deal with the Taliban to release five top prisoners from the Guantanamo Bay prison camp without first notifying Congress, as is legally mandated.

The deal was signed “without providing 30 days notice to Congress,” as is required by law, Hagel told lawmakers before attempting to justify the administration’s decision to ignore this law.

The White House’s decision to skirt this law has prompted the House Armed Services Committee to launch a full investigation into the matter, lawmakers revealed on Wednesday.

Barack Obama SKIPS Funeral of Murdered US General

Conservative Tribune

Back on August 5th, Major General Harold Greene was killed in Afghanistan, the victim of an insider attack. He was the first general killed in a combat zone since the Vietnam War.

Insider attacks are on the rise in Afghanistan, as tens of thousands of Taliban and Al-Qaeda fighters have infiltrated the Afghan National Security Forces.

As President Obama sends “pink slips” to our officers in a combat zone and announces to our enemy exactly when we are leaving their country, the Taliban has become emboldened to increase the size and scope of their attacks, knowing that little to nothing will be done in retaliation.

Such a rare occurrence as a high-ranking officer’s death should have warranted a great deal of attention from our Commander-in-Chief, but Obama has yet to make any public comments regarding his death.

Not only has Obama been unable to make any comment about the General’s sacrifice, he also was unable to find the time to make it to General Greene’s funeral, held on Thursday in Arlington National Cemetery.  Obama himself was conspicuously absent, but so were the Vice President and the Secretary of Defense.  The highest ranking and most senior member of Obama’s administration that found the time to pay respects to the General that was murdered by the enemy was Army Chief of Staff Ray Odierno, according to BizPacReview.

The activity that Obama thought more pressing than this hero’s funeral? Golfing.

Bowe Bergdahl: Possibly Obama’s Most Potent Weapon in His War Against the US Military

Moonbattery

Obama has attacked the military in part by pulling the rug out from under it financially and redirecting the money to pernicious social programs that encourage indolence, dependence, and illegal immigration, but more effectively by eroding its morale.

Toward this end, Obama has gone out of his way to homosexualize the military. He has thrown away the gains that thousands sacrificed their lives for in Iraq. He has eschewed victory as an objective in Afghanistan, reducing troops to sitting ducks with absurd rules of engagement. He has purged the officer corps of patriots, replacing them with political flunkies. He has overseen a VA that lets vets die by the dozens on secret waiting lists, even as invaders across our undefended border receive excellent healthcare promptly and for free. He has let it be known that with more “flexibility” he will betray American interests for those of our adversaries in Russia.

But perhaps most damaging of all, his regime has treated Bowe Bergdahl as an honorable soldier.

Six weeks after Obama released five top terrorists in exchange for Bergdahl, the private (who is technically a sergeant, having been promoted in absentia during his five years with the Taliban) is resuming normal duty at Fort Sam Houston. He is not restricted in any way. Furthermore,

Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl could have a tax-free $350,000 dropped into his bank account if the current investigation into his disappearance from his base in Afghanistan was not desertion, and if he is deemed to have been a prisoner of war for the five years he was held by Islamic militants, Fox News has learned.

The reason Bergdahl was not classified as a POW long ago is that it is beyond dispute that he deserted. The only question is whether he was captured by the Taliban, or as appears much more likely, deliberately sought it out so as to defect to the enemy for ideological reasons that he made clear in his writings.

But what really happened is of no consequence, now that the Obama Regime has proclaimed that he “served the United States with honor and distinction.”

Crows the New York Times,

Senator Carl Levin, a Michigan Democrat who heads the Armed Services Committee, released letters from each of the Joint Chiefs of Staff supporting the repatriation of Sergeant Bergdahl, a rebuttal to critics who said the swap should not have been made.

Who is going to risk getting his legs blown off for the greater glory of Barack Hussein Obama, Carl Levin, and the obedient hacks comprising the Joint Chiefs of Staff under this disgraceful farce of a government? How can honor not become corroded when it is ignored, even as the most extreme dishonor is rewarded?

There is a reason that people like Bowe Bergdahl have been promptly executed in every functioning army that ever existed. It isn’t that he richly deserves it — although he certainly does. It is that the morale of the entire military depends on it.

If Obama has any clue what he is doing, this must explain the seemingly insane trade for the terrorists.
