Obama Warns Americans They Will Have to Sacrifice Privacy for Safety

Obama told the South by Southwest techs, musicians and moviemakers that the time will soon arise when people will have to sacrifice their privacy for safety.

“If there is probable cause to think that you have abducted a child, or that you are engaging in a terrorist plot, or you are guilty of some serious crime […] law enforcement can appear at your doorstep and say ‘I have a warrant’ and go into your bedroom to rifle through your underwear and see if there’s any evidence of wrongdoing,” Obama said, making the argument that there should be no distinction between that type of situation or going through a locked or encrypted electronic device such as an iPhone.

Obama also stated that he wants to secure all electronic infrastructure and have capabilities to monitor it across the board.

People don’t seem to realize how serious this is and what is in store for us and our freedoms.

In the case of the DoJ vs. Apple, the Department of Justice is now claiming in their latest filing that they can force Apple to turn over their source code for iOS itself, so the government could make the appropriate modifications.

This is a threat of last resort. They are telling Apple that this is what they will demand if they don’t want to build the new OS to provide the back door that the government seeks and hackers will rejoice over.

The government has been battling companies and winning unbeknownst to the public but they decided to air this fight against Apple because the circumstances of the San Bernardino case are so horrific. They think they can win in the court of public opinion. They want to establish precedent forcing companies to break their own encryption.

Why can’t Americans have privacy on their phones? Because the government says so? Where will it stop? Will they spy on us through our Internet of Things.

We won’t have any rights or any privacy when these big government lovers are done with us.

Forget privacy, the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Amendments – they will all fall.

U.S. Warns Employers to Protect Muslim Rights, Directs Victims to File Complaints

In the aftermath of the San Bernardino terrorist attacks the Obama administration has issued a new warning regarding workplace discrimination “against individuals who are, or perceived to be, Muslim or Middle Eastern.”

American businesses are to accommodate the religious needs of Muslims and assure that they aren’t being harassed or intimidated, states the order which was issued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the bloated federal agency that enforces the nation’s workplace discrimination laws. Those who don’t oblige will be prosecuted by the administration for violating federal law, specifically Title VII of the Civil Right Act which prohibits discrimination on the bases of religion.

“The attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, in late 2015 and other recent world events have heightened concerns about workplace protections for all employees, including individuals who are, or are perceived to be, Muslim or Middle Eastern,” the EEOC asserts in its recently issued document. “Discrimination in the workplace based on religion, national origin, or race is strictly prohibited by federal and state laws. Reactions in the workplace to world events demand increased efforts by employers to prevent discrimination.” EEOC Chair Jenny R. Yang refers to Muslims as “vulnerable communities” that need protection “even as we grapple with the concerns raised by the recent terrorist attacks.”

FBI guarded funeral of San Bernardino jihadists

The evil, scheming, murderous jihadist couple who slaughtered 14 people in San Bernardino and injured 21 more (2 critically) were buried on Tuesday.  Apparently it was a bit of a challenge finding an Islamic cemetery willing to take accept their remains, and not necessarily because they were the remains of savages.  Per a Reuters report, the Islamic cemetery in San Bernardino was concerned Farook’s and Malik’s graves might be desecrated.  There were also concerns there might be a backlash.  According to an unnamed source, there were “other reasons” as well, but they remain a mystery.  How about the obvious, like not wanting to be involved with something as hideous as terrorists?

But no.  We get concern about backlash.  What’s new?

Eventually an Islamic cemetery far from San Bernardino accepted their bodies for burial.  Ten people attended the funeral, including members of Farook’s family and some people from his mosque.  You know, all of those people who were shocked, I tell you, shocked by what he did.

But if it isn’t disgusting enough that soldiers for Allah who murder Americans are buried on American soil, the FBI guarded the funeral.

Why?

Obama To Speak Today To Battle ‘Hateful Talk’ Against Muslims, Will Meet With Muslim Leaders This Week To Address Discrimination Against Muslims

Has he gotten around to meeting with the families killed in San Bernardino yet? Will he even bother to stop on his way out to Hawaii for yet another vacation on our dime?

WASHINGTON — In an effort to battle what the White House has called hateful talk by prominent Republicans against Muslims and immigrants, President Obama will give a speech on Tuesday morning at a naturalization ceremony that includes a refugee from Iraq and a Fulbright scholar from Congo.

“The president will speak about the American tradition of being a welcoming society and the incredible contributions of immigrants and refugees to our nation,” a White House official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk publicly about the ceremony before it occurred.

The event, held on the 224th anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights, will feature 31 candidates for citizenship, from 25 countries, the official said. It will be held at the National Archives, and Richard W. Roberts, chief judge of United States District Court for the District of Columbia, will preside.

The ceremony comes as 25 Republican governors have vowed to block the entry of Syrian refugees into their states, including some where large numbers of Syrians have settled in recent years. Mr. Obama has condemned such comments as contradicting American values.

The governors made their vow after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris last month, and fears of terrorism have risen further in the United States after the shooting this month in San Bernardino, Calif.

The White House will also hold a series of meetings with religious leaders this week to discuss ways the administration is working to address discrimination, harassment and episodes of hate while promoting pluralism and religious freedom.

Like many shocked and horrified Americans, I watched the events of the San Bernardino jihad massacre unfolding in real time. Several eyewitnesses were certain: There were, from the very first, three shooters. Police scanner broadcasts and news reports all said the same thing.

Scott Pelley of CBS Evening News interviewed one eyewitness, Sara Abdelmageed. She said: “I heard shots fired and it was from – you know – an automatic weapon. … As we looked out the window, a second set of shots goes off … and we saw a man fall to the floor. Then we just looked and we saw three men dressed in all black, military attire, with vests on. They were holding assault rifles. As soon as they opened up the doors to building three, one of them started to shoot into the room.”

Abdelmageed added that she “couldn’t see a face, he had a black hat on – black cargo pants, the kind with the big puffy pockets on the side, long sleeve shirt, gloves, huge assault rifle six magazines I just saw three dressed exactly the same.”

Tonight, President Barack Obama is going to attempt a common magic trick in an attempt to make the Constitutional rights of all Americans disappear:

“We know that the killers in San Bernardino used military-style assault weapons — weapons of war — to kill as many people as they could,” the president said in a video released Saturday. “It’s another tragic reminder that here in America it’s way too easy for dangerous people to get their hands on a gun.”

“Right now, people on the no-fly list can walk into a store and buy a gun. That is insane,” the president said. “If you’re too dangerous to board a plane, you’re too dangerous, by definition, to buy a gun.”

He called on Congress to close the loophole, saying that while the nation may not be able to prevent every tragedy, “at a bare minimum, we shouldn’t be making it so easy for potential terrorists or criminals to get their hands on a gun that they could use against Americans.”

Obama is addressing the nation tonight, and you’re going to see him attempt to say one thing, and do another.

Obama is going to claim that he wants to summarily strip the constitutional rights of Americans citizens and resident aliens on the “no fly” list without due process, in clear violation of the Constitution. He does not have evidence that anyone on this list is about to commit a crime, or the FBI would arrest them. Instead, he’s asking to “Minority Report” them, and strip them of their liberties because they might one day commit crimes.

But it’s even worse that it seems.

Disarmed California Citizens Shot Dead While ‘Waiting for Cops’ … And Now They Call for Everyone to Be Disarmed!

 

According to early reports – and they are preliminary, so let me just make that caveat up front – police say “one to three” “heavily armed suspects” with military gear and concealed faces began shooting at a San Bernardino developmentally disabled institution, the Inland Regional Center (initial reports said an office holiday party involving San Bernardino County workers was being targeted). Several people have reportedly been shot, some killed, and – again, as of this writing – the suspects, who were reported to have escaped in a black SUV, are still at large.

I have to say this shooting is particularly suspicious for a number of reasons, not the least of which is because it is one of several now that have occurred in a very short window of time, and one of three that have occurred after our president vowed to make every one of these kinds of mass shootings “political” in nature – all to push for more gun control on the American people, the Second Amendment be damned.

When the Redlands Tea Party Patriots objected to the resettling of Syrian Muslim migrants in their community, CAIR accused them of “paranoia and phobia is rooted in a combination of ignorance and bigotry.”

But “paranoia and phobia” are the modern condition that the free world has found itself living in. Islamic terrorism can strike anytime and anywhere from a Paris concert hall to a San Bernardino County facility where disabled children were being helped. It’s ignorance to ignore that and bigotry to defend it.

“What will be done to ensure the safety of our community? Our biggest concern is the safety of our family, our children and our grandchildren,” Victoria Hargrave of Redlands Townhall had asked.

It was a good question. As the country watched police charge towards a home in the Redlands, it has become an even better question.

The shooter has been named as Sayeed Farouk. His father described him as a religiously devout Muslim. “He was very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back.” Co-workers say that he “grew a beard and started to wear religious clothing. The long shirt that’s like a dress and the cap on his head.”

And at some point his “religiosity” took him down the familiar path of Jihad.
