Rush Limbaugh, the monumentally influential media icon who transformed talk radio and politics in his decades behind the microphone, helping shape the modern-day Republican Party, died Wednesday at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer, his family announced.

Limbaugh’s wife, Kathryn, made the announcement on his radio show.

The radio icon learned he had Stage IV lung cancer in January 2020 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Trump at the State of the Union address days later. First lady Melania Trump then presented America’s highest civilian honor to Limbaugh in an emotional moment on the heels of his devastating cancer diagnosis.

Impeachment: John Brennan and Obama’s Intel Ops

It turns out, as Rush Limbaugh noted in a recent broadcast, that the “whistleblower” is a CIA person detailed to the White House. Likely a holdover from Obama, he is John Brennan’s man.

When Obama left office, he left in place a mechanism designed to lead to Trump’s impeachment: The revelations of the intel community about Russian collusion with the incoming president.

Now that those are debunked by the very prosecutor hired to prove them, this same crowd, these same folks, have shifted their emphasis to the Ukraine scandal.

The allegation is that Trump used his official power to induce Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden’s son. But the fact — caught on tape — is that Biden used his power as VP to get Ukraine to fire the prosecutor who was after his son!

Trump does not deserve impeachment for bringing Biden to justice. Biden deserves our condemnation for trying to impede it.

The impeachment drama, begun suddenly by the whistleblower complaint, probably will play out this way:

House Democrats, driven by their blood thirsty base, will vote to impeach. All but their dedicated partisans will see them as over-reaching and ignoring the agenda they were elected to legislate. Party discipline will assure a unanimous Democratic vote to impeach but few if any Republicans will join them. Impeachment will be seen as a partisan ploy rather than the outcome of a real investigation.

Senate Republicans will stand firm and united behind Trump and against impeachment. With the GOP base solid and enraged by impeachment, any who waiver will be harshly disciplined by the threat of primary fights. Only Mitt Romney might break ranks. The House Democratic impeachment trial managers will fall far short of the two-thirds needed to oust Trump. The drama will consume the remainder of 2019 and last well into the primary season of 2020.

Voters will see the Democrats as taking the election out of their hands and trying to remove Trump even as his first term nears its end. Impeachment will hurt the Democrats in 2020 just as it injured the Republicans when they tried to throw out Clinton in 1998.

In the meantime, all the focus on Biden’s son’s role in Ukraine and China will further weaken and eventually destroy Joe Biden’s presidential chances. With Biden out of the way, the Party’s left wing will be triumphant and will nominate Elizabeth Warren.

With the Democrats hurt by impeachment, the economy purring along, and the radical Warren leading them, Trump will likely win re-election, perhaps massively.

Democrats are being forced into a strategic dead end by the exuberant media and their frothing base. But it will not end well for them.

So Tiger Woods receives the Medal of Freedom and the Left blows another gasket, good. However, I know of a way to really hit a few nerves. I think that President Donald Trump should award the Medal of Freedom to ………………………………wait for it…………………………Rush Limbaugh.

Crisis at the Canadian Border – A Prescient Look at the Consequences of a Republican Win in November

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The Republican Presidential primary campaign is prompting an exodus among left leaning citizens who fear they’ll soon be required to hunt, pray, and live according to conservative ideas about the Constitution.

Canadian border farmers say it’s not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, global warming activists, and “green” energy proponents crossing their fields at night.

“I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,” said Southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota . “The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken. When I said I didn’t have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?”

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields, but they just keep coming.

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into electric cars and drive them across the border where they are simply left to fend for themselves after the battery dies.

 

“A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions,” an Ontario border patrolman said. “I found one carload without a single bottle of Perrier drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley cabernet, though, and some kale chips.”

When liberals are caught, they’re sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and study the Constitution.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half- dozen young vegans in blue-hair wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior-citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the ’50s. “If they can’t identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age,” an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage, buying up all the Barbara Streisand c.d.’s, and renting all the Michael Moore movies. “I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can’t support them,” an Ottawa resident said. “How many art-history majors does one country need?”

In Spectre, the 25th James Bond film currently in theaters, Oscar-winning actor and villain Christopher Waltz snidely tells Agent 007 these words. While a bit of an overstatement, the point is well taken.

As the years unfold, I am persuaded that countless millions will identify words like these with the Obama presidency. Whether our next president can help dismantle some of what Barack Obama has done remains to be seen. Barring a spiritual awakening in America and the resulting returning to our conservative values led by a uniquely gifted commander-in-chief; the repercussions of Barack Obama’s “transformation of America” will be catastrophic.

It’s why seven years ago Rush Limbaugh said his desire for the Obama presidency was simple: “I hope he fails.”

Scripture tells us, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh” (Prv 29:2 ASV). Plainly stated, people have cause to either rejoice or mourn dependent on whether their governing authorities are God-fearing or unrighteous.

When competent and godly leaders rule, they set a tone for the society as they conduct affairs according to God’s standards. The result will not be utopia but rather a general happiness, prosperity and stability in the land.  President Obama does not fit this category and that is a primary reason why there is so much mourning throughout our land.

I step back knowing I prayed for this man every single day of his terms in office yet must respectfully but forthrightly assess his “fruit” as disastrous. What he has done has been unbelievably detrimental to the Judeo-Christian principles upon which our nation was founded. Are you aware of how far we’ve fallen under his leadership and lack thereof?

Richard A. Viguerie is absolutely right when he calls most of the Republican leadership “boneless wonders.” And as Senator Rand Paul correctly labeled the CRomnibus, it is an “abomination of a bill,” and it passed narrowly last night thanks to the betrayal of John Boehner. Boehner lied himself silly as he did exactly what I predicted he would do… he claimed that the Republicans didn’t dare shut down the government and had to pass the CRomnibus to find out what was in it, a la Pelosi. He also claimed the good in the bill, outweighed the bad. So many lies in such a short time. He went all the way with Obama, knowing that the President would kick him out of bed in the morning. Conservatives were Grubered by Boehner and the other Progressive RINOs who wanted everything they passed – they also gave Obama ALL he asked for and oh, so much more.

Every Republican who voted for the CRomnibus must be targeted in primaries and gotten rid of. They are cancerous to the Republic – they are Progressives on the Right side of the aisle and are every bit as much a danger to our country as the Progressive Liberals are. Every one of these Republicans owns this. They weren’t ‘forced’ into anything… they chose this because of money and power. It’s as simple as that.

The Obama administration and minions in the media insist President Reagan also used executive amnesty to allow illegals in the country.

As Rush Limbaugh explained, “This is a bald-faced flat-out lie.”

Ronald Reagan signed a piece of legislation. It was the Simpson-Mazzoli Act. It was 1986. Congress debated and passed a law to grant amnesty to three million illegal immigrants, and Reagan signed it. — Obama is passing amnesty without Congressional legislation.

Political correctness now dominates the realm of  this country.  The result is that the law is maimed, and factual, logical, and rational thinking is attacked on a regular basis.

But the most egregious of political correctness stances is the one that maintains that Obama cannot be impeached because of the melanin level in his skin.  In an incredibly prescient article from 2009, author L.E. Ikenga pointed out what would be America’s undoing if this country continued to obsess “over the color of Barack Obama’s skin” instead of paying more attention to his ardent desire to become a “despot.”  At the time, Ikenga asserted that “Obama is intrinsically undemocratic and as his presidency plays out, this will become more obvious.”

And now six years later, Obama continues with his absolute and unrelenting intention to transform this country via unconstitutional means. The most shameful aspect of letting Obama get away with his unlawful actions is that it is an abject insult to the good people of this country.  We are asked to ignore his actions and accept that, because he is black, his misdeeds do not matter.  The message of moral rot is there for the next generation to see.
