Kerry “We would not support any treatment inconsistent with rights of Americans under Constitution”? Except for the fact that this administration has run over the Constitution and the law repeatedly.

The National Rifle Association, which is battling a raft of gun control measures on Capitol Hill, also has an international fight on its hand as it gears up to oppose a U.N. treaty designed to restrict the flow of arms to conflict zones.Negotiations open Monday in New York on the Arms Trade Treaty, which would require countries to determine whether weapons they sell would be used to commit serious human rights violations, terrorism or transnational organized crime.
The gun lobby fears that the treaty would be used to regulate civilian weapons. Human rights activists counter that it would reduce the trafficking of weapons, including small arms such as the ubiquitous AK-47 assault rifle, to outlaw regimes and rebel groups engaged in atrocities against civilian populations.“This treaty is a common-sense alignment of the interests of governments, law-abiding citizens and individuals all over the world, who deserve the right to live free from harm,” said Michelle A. Ringuette, chief of campaigns and programs at Amnesty International USA. “Any step toward restraining the illicit sale and transfer of weapons used to commit horrific crimes is a good move forward, and the world could use a lot more steps in the direction of ending human rights abuses.”
The Obama administration, which has wavered on the treaty, signaled Friday that it was willing to support the accord. “The United States is steadfast in its commitment to achieve a strong and effective Arms Trade Treaty that helps address the adverse effects of the international arms trade on global peace and stability,” Secretary of State John F. Kerry said in a statement. “We will not support any treaty that would be inconsistent with U.S. law and the rights of American citizens under our Constitution, including the Second Amendment.”
Every time a mass shooting happens in America, and before research or analysis for the actual cause can begin, many people and news outlets instantaneously clamor for national gun control as if they are following Rahm Emanuel’s dictum to “never let a serious crisis go to waste.” Such an approach speaks loudly that the issue is more about control than it is about guns.
As part of gun control advocates’ mantra and a cornerstone of their argument, they claim citizens don’t need assault weapons to hunt or to defend themselves in their homes. Although, it is true citizens can do both of these things without assault weapons, their claim misinterprets the intent of the Second Amendment and the right it was written to protect.
The liberal agenda can only be taken so far against a populace that is able to defend itself and its property. That’s why Americans need to be disarmed. Authoritarians have taken an incremental approach, but lately they are growing impatient. Countermoonbat Sheriff David Clark Jr. tells Judge Jeanine what will happen if Obama, Feinstein, et al. miscalculate and push too quickly:
The NRA’s Stephen Halbrook is correct: registration means confiscation. No matter how pretty a bow the media ties on it, registration will set us up for door to door raids on the homes of gun owners, to be justified by a convenient crisis.
One bold Wyoming lawmaker had a blunt message to a constituent who expressed concern with a state bill to allow guns in public schools: If you don’t like it, you can leave.
The Rev. Audette Fulbright emailed all the state legislators about her and her husband’s possible exit from the state — to which they had recently moved — if a bill giving concealed carry permit holders the right to bring weapons into public schools, colleges and athletic events actually passed in the state legislature, The Blaze reported.

It is time to speak plainly for the good citizens and patriots of this nation who believe unbendingly in the Constitution of the United States of America. Though foreign governments may disarm their subjects, we will not go down that road. We will not disarm and see our freedoms stripped away. The lessons of history are numerous, clear, and bloody. A disarmed population inevitably becomes an enslaved population. A disarmed population is without power, reduced to childlike obedience to-and dependence upon – the organs of a parental state.
A disarmed population will lose-either piecemeal or in one sweeping act – those basic rights for which the citizens of America gave their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor over 200 years ago.
We will not disarm.
