The United States under this administration is currently not engaged in the pursuit of liberty or equality of opportunity, rather, ours is a country pursuing social engineering and redistribution to equalize the end results of every single thing that takes place.
Barack Obama and his team are social engineering the nation into a utopian vision that has little relation to what our Founding Fathers foresaw when they developed our Constitution.
Barack Obama is diversifying so-called wealthy neighborhoods seemingly without any authority to do so. He’s directly addressing the suburbs which he sees as white and privileged.
He believes there is one pot of resources and the suburbs are stealing them from the urban areas. He seeks to remedy that and equalize all resources.

I think back on the days of my childhood, days when all the kids in the neighborhood I lived in would get together for a game of stickball. All colors, all nationalities, everyone would play. Some better than others, but everyone would play until our mothers called us home at dark for dinner. The only break would come when the ice cream truck came by, and if someone didn’t have the dime for ice cream, someone else would buy it for them.
Times have changed, but the basic principles of how I was brought up have stuck with me. It doesn’t make for a tranquil way of life these days. There is a choice which must be made by every one of our citizens. Do we keep those old values, or do we toss them to the side for a more modern way of living our lives?
For me, I’ve had enough. There are certain things I am tired of:
The Baltimore riots have captured America’s attention this week. Buildings have burned, people have been injured, reporters have been robbed, and there was even a failed attempt at setting off an IED. Yes, seriously.
There will be lessons learned from the events stemming from the terrible and tragic death of Freddie Gray while in police custody, and changes will be made in Baltimore at many levels. One hopes some of these changes will help the community and the police find common ground again. One expects from government, as one does, that there will be a lot of unnecessary gesture-making and grandstanding too.
But among all the pontification and “analysis” we’re seeing, perhaps nothing is more absurd than what is coming out of the Baltimore School District. Witness the following statement issued this week, as reported by Amelia Hamilton for The Stream.
