Why Trump is right about Pakistan

Family Security Matters

In his first Tweet of 2018, President Donald Trump highlighted the chronic Pakistani duplicity in regard to the war in Afghanistan:

“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

While publicly supporting U.S. efforts to stabilize Afghanistan, Pakistan secretly provides safe haven and de facto sponsors a Taliban educational, training and financial infrastructure to sustain a proxy war against Afghanistan in order to preserve it as a client state.

Case in point from information provided by on-the-ground sources in Pakistan.

Abdul Basit Ahmedzai Mengal operates a religious school (Madrasa Qazi Abad) and mosque in Nushki District, Balochistan province, Pakistan. Originally from the village of Zaro Chah near the border with Afghanistan, he has two wives and his son, Abdul Latif Mengal, is a student at Bolan Medical College in Quetta.

Family Security Matters

On September 13, 2001, Secretary of State Colin Powell and Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage presented Lt. Gen. Mahmood Ahmed, a religious hardliner and then Director of Pakistan’s notorious intelligence agency, the ISI, with a list of non-negotiable demands that Pakistan:

  • Stop al Qaeda operatives at your border, intercept arms shipments through Pakistan and end ALL logistical support for bin Laden.
  • Grant blanket overflight and landing rights.
  • Permit access to Pakistan, naval bases, air bases and borders.
  • Provide immediate intelligence and immigration information.
  • Condemn the Sept. 11 attacks and “curb all domestic expressions of support for terrorism against the [United States], its friends or allies.”
  • Cut off all shipments of fuel to the Taliban and stop Pakistani volunteers from going into Afghanistan to join the Taliban.
  • Should the evidence strongly implicate Osama bin Laden and the al Qaeda network in Afghanistan AND should Afghanistan and the Taliban continue to harbor him and this network, Pakistan will break diplomatic relations with the Taliban government, end support for the Taliban and assist us in the aforementioned ways to destroy Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda network.

According to the Washington Post at the time, “Powell and Armitage would be asking Pakistan to help destroy what its intelligence service had helped create and maintain: the Taliban.”

DR. PAUL STOPS TRANSFER OF $300 MILLION IN TAX DOLLARS TO THIS TERROR-TIED NATION

dr paul

Independent Sentinel

It took Dr. Rand Paul to stop the transfer of fighter jets to Pakistan today. It is a wonder why anyone would expect the US taxpayer to send hundreds of millions to terrorists who laugh in our face.

The United States Congress is inexplicably about to send $300 million dollars worth of F-16 fighter jets to a country that hates, supports the Taliban, hid bin Laden away for years, imprisoned a doctor who helped us, and persecutes Christians.

As Dr. Paul said, “we don’t have money to borrow the money from China to send it to Pakistan.” We are $19 trillion in debt and we need to take care of the problems here at home instead of sending it to corrupt regimes abroad. We have given $15 billion to Pakistan and yet they’ve admitted they’ve armed, aided and abetted the Taliban. Pakistan was only one of two countries that recognized the vicious Taliban.

Pakistan terrorists are killing our US soldiers and they are the most capable threat to US forces in Afghanistan.

Al Qaeda Terrorist Wanted by FBI Crossed Back and Forth Into U.S. From Mexico

Judicial Watch

An Al Qaeda terrorist on the FBI’s most wanted list for years crossed back and forth into the United States from Mexico to meet fellow militant Islamists in Texas and piloted an aircraft into the Cielo Dorado airfield in Anthony, New Mexico, law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch.

The same Al Qaeda operative helped plan the 2009 bombing of talk-show superstar Oprah Winfrey’s Chicago studios and the iconic Sears Tower (renamed Willis Tower), a story that Judicial Watch broke just last week. His name is Adnan G. El Shukrijumah (also known as “Javier Robles”) and over the weekend he was killed in Pakistan, according to military officials in the Islamic republic.

In 2010 Shukrijumah was indicted in the Eastern District of New York for his role in a terrorist plot to attack targets in the United States—including New York City’s subway system—and the United Kingdom, according the FBI. The plot against New York City’s subway system was directed by senior Al Qaeda leadership in Pakistan, the FBI says, and was also directly related to a scheme by Al Qaeda plotters in Pakistan to use Western operatives to attack a target in the United States.

ISIS eyes nuclear-armed Pakistan

Family Security Matters

by LAWRENCE SELLIN, PHD

Pakistan’s use of Islamic militancy as an instrument of its foreign policy, including knowingly playing host to Osama bin Laden, may now pose a looming threat to its own national security.

According to Pakistani sources, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is gaining strength in Pakistan. Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement, a Pakistani political party representing the Urdu-speaking community, said the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al-Qaeda are merging with ISIS and may challenge Pakistan’s integrity and stability.

Rick Perry: Record Number Of Illegals From Syria, Pakistan And Afghanistan Being Caught At Border

Weasel Zippers

Imagine how many more are escaping detection…

Via Breitbart:

Texas Governor Rick Perry said a record number of illegal immigrants from Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan have been apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border.

On Sunday’s State of the Union on CNN, Perry said the “historic record highs” of individuals from “countries that have substantial terrorist ties” threaten America’s national security.

Later on the program, Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX), the House Homeland Security Committee Chair, said Iranian terrorists have had plans to sneak across the border. He also said that others who want to do harm are seeking to exploit America’s porous border.

Perry also said that since 2008, 203,000 illegal immigrants have been put in Texas’ jails, and those illegal immigrants “have been responsible for 3,000 homicides and almost 8,000 sexual assaults.”

“I wish the President would respect that desire of Texans and the citizens of this country to secure the border,” Perry said. “That’s the real issue here—and one that all too often gets deflected by the conversation about unaccompanied minor children.”

Obama Administration Looking at Handing Over $7 Billion in Military Equipment to Pakistan – FOR FREE

Gateway Pundit

What could possibly go wrong? The Obama administration is looking to hand over $7 billion in military equipment to Pakistan – for free!

Dawn reported:

With the war in Afghanistan winding down, news reports suggest that the United States may dispose $7 billion in military equipment by handing it over to Pakistan.

The Washington Post (WP) reported that the potential move could be, “part of an effort by the Pentagon to unload excess military supplies to US allies at no cost”.

The report said that discussions on this issue has been taking place over several months between American and Pakistani officials.

One motive for this potential transaction is that the US does not want to pay to ship out leftover military hardware from the conflict in neighboring Afghanistan.

The WP report gives detail that although a final decision on this issue has not been taken, Pakistan has particular interest in acquiring the US Army’s mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles.

The MRAP vehicles could be used by Pakistan’s military in its fight against Taliban insurgents within its tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.

The WP report describes the MRAP as,”the backbone of the US military’s vehicle fleet in Afghanistan…designed to protect American troops from explosive devices”.

Pentagon leaders have said it would potentially cost more than $100,000 per vehicle to ship MRAP vehicles back to the US.

The US government is offering the vehicles to allies for free on an “as-is, where-is” basis, said the report quoting a Pentagon spokesman.

Why is the US giving Pakistan weapons to be used against India?

Free Republic

The US government has funded eight P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft, 2,000 TOW anti-armor missiles, 14 older model F-16 fighter jets, 59 T-37 trainer jets, one missile frigate, six AN/TPS-77 surveillance radars, and 20 Cobra attack helicopters among other weapons for Pakistan.

——

In the context of the recent continuous tensions on the LOC, it is useful to take a hard look at the unhealthy US-Pakistan relationship of dependence, if only as a reminder of how some things never change.

The Pakistani military’s signals to India are clear and present. The continuous attacks along the Line of Control are an unmistakable attempt to shatter the peace, break the long-held ceasefire and pull the rug from under the shaky feet of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The decade-old ceasefire needs to be maintained even though the Pakistan army and its affiliated jihadis would like nothing better than to destroy it and start the pot boiling. It would be a disaster to return to the days of easy infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir under the cover of heavy fire from the Pakistan army.

The Obama Administration needs to tell its friends in Rawalpindi in no uncertain terms to maintain the sanctity of the ceasefire. But so far, apart from anodyne statements implying equal responsibility for the killings on the LOC, it has said nothing to rein in the Pakistani military.

What’s more, it continues to quietly furnish sophisticated military weapons to Pakistan that are highly unsuitable against terrorists but very suitable against India.

Obama’s Presidency May Be Illegal

Socialism is not Answer

1 Dragon

Donald Trump has raised the question about the Obama birth certificate and that has the media going nuts. Even Obama is sweating more these days. After all, you can’t bribe Donald Trump, so will they try to blackmail him or arrange a meeting in a dark alley with Gledo and Rocko? Maybe, my advice on this is to stay out of dark alleys. But Donald also needs to look at the real picture and that is, Obama’s father was not a US citizen and that keeps Obama from being a Natural Born Citizen. Donald also needs to check into the adoption of Obama. While you’re at it Donald, see if you can find out what passport Obama used when he visited Pakistan in the early 80’s. Just be careful Donald, Obama may throw a baseball like a girl but his so-called friends play hardball.

130 Million Strong: Al-Qaeda’s Deep Muslim Support

Pajamas Media

On December 2, 2010, the Pew Research Center released the results of a new poll of six Muslim countries that sheds a surprising new light on the number of Muslims worldwide that support al-Qaeda. (The six countries polled: Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey.) The report reveals that majorities of the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims neither support al-Qaeda nor believe that suicide bombings are ever justified in defense of Islam. Osama bin Laden, the poll reveals, “receives overwhelmingly negative ratings in nearly all countries” asked about him.

The Pew report coincides with an al-Qaeda video distributed on October 23, 2010. In it, al-Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn airs al-Qaeda’s poor view of the majority of Muslims. According to Gadahn, one part of the global Muslim community is apostate; another is victim to lustful, worldly influences; and a third (perhaps largest) portion has lost the ability to think for themselves, allowing clerics to turn them against al-Qaeda and the jihad.
