This is what ”deep patriotism” looks like to the left:

Former White House “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones, explains that the Tea Party movement was “cheap patriotism” that promoted their “red, white and blue” agenda in 2010 which blocked President Obama’s “wave of hope.”
“The impact of the Tea Party’s reckless policies would be to financially decimate our government, further dismantle America’s middle class, and strengthen the chokehold that the top 1 percent has on the economy. Nonetheless, the Tea Partiers effectively seized the public narrative in 2009 and congressional power in 2010, quelling the wave of hope generated by the 2008 election,” Jones writes in his new book, “Rebuild the Dream.”
It’s no surprise that Jones believes that the “deep patriotism” movement is the one sparked by Occupy Wall Street.

And Muslims wonder why they are viewed with skepticism by the majority of Americans.
NEW YORK (AP) — Hundreds of Muslims prayed in lower Manhattan and planned a march on New York Police headquarters Friday to protest a decade of NYPD spying inside Muslim neighborhoods.
“Had this been happening to any other religious group, all of America would be outraged,” said Daoud Ibraheem, 73, a retired graphic artist from Brooklyn.
Many of these programs were built with the help of the CIA as part of an unusually close collaboration that is now the subject of an internal CIA investigation.
“There’s a wrong that we have all been made aware of,” said Abdur-Rashid, of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood.
He said it was no secret that police have been watching mosques. But the news that the NYPD was monitoring everything from Islamic schools to restaurants was unacceptable.
The protest was joined by about 50 members of the Occupy Wall Street movement, who marched to Foley Square chanting “Surveillance is violence, we won’t remain silent!”

Unfortunately not many Occupy Wall Street lowlifes have bothered to attain any work to get back to.
I have seen many distasteful pictures from the Occupy Wall Street movement, but none tops this young man defecating on the American Flag. Thousands have died for what this flag represents, yet we have raised a generation of ungrateful idiots that don’t even understand what they have.
I am reminded of the wise words of Ronald Reagan, who said:
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
Tyranny may be closer than we think. And to think Obama admires these people.
Socialism is not the Answer
According to the media……………….. you’ve heard these words before, but according to the media, Mitt Romney is the guy to beat Obama. Why, because they say so? This is the same media that said we were all racist if we didn’t agree with Obama. That OWS was just like the Tea Party. That Obama was god-like and would unite this country. The same media that says Obama is a Natural Born Citizen well Obama is not a natural born citizen because his father was a Kenyan national and a British subject, as was Obama,
The same media that use the term “birthers or tea-baggers” when they refere to Patriots that respect and honor the U.S Constitution but call OWS people that walk all over the American Flag, use the F-word to describe our military, and assault people, real Americans.
Is Mitt my first choice? No. At this point in time, it’s still an open field although it is narrowing. As for the media, well everyone has an opinion and you know what they say about opinions.
Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) rejected President Obama’s comparison between Martin Luther King Jr. and what he called the “Occupy Wall Street gangs.”
“Martin Luther King Jr. would not have backed these types of protesters,” West said, noting that he was born and raised in King’s neighborhood. “First of all, Martin Luther King, Jr. had a focus, a message. He was divinely inspired. I don’t know what the inspiration is for these individuals.”
