Russia Pushes Reset Button–

Missile reads: “To be personally delivered to Obama.”

In March 2009 Hillary Clinton announced that the Obama Adminstration was going to push the reset button with the Russians.

Unfortunately, the administration bungled their delivery and spelled out “overcharge” rather than “restart” on their prop.

Russians paraded a missile on Army Day marked “to be personally delivered to Obama.”

The missile included a Communist hammer and sickle on the front.

 

Obama Readies US Marines to Assist in Egypt… But Wouldn’t Send US Marines to Benghazi

The Obama Administration put the US Marines were on alert in southern Europe today as a precaution in advance of massive protests expected in Egypt.

But the Obama Administration wouldn’t send US Marines in Europe to assist the US Ambassador in Benghazi on 9-11. Four Americans were killed in the Benghazi terrorist attacks on 9-11 including the US ambassador.

CNN reported:

U.S. Marines stationed in southern Europe have been put on alert as a precaution in advance of expected large demonstrations and potential unrest in Egypt this weekend, CNN has learned.

About 200 combat capable Marines in Sigonella, Italy, and Moron, Spain, have been told to be ready to be airborne within 60 minutes of getting orders to deploy, according to two administration officials.

The units have several V-22 tilt-rotor aircraft that would carry troops and infantry weapons to Egypt to protect the U.S. Embassy and American government personnel and citizens if violence broke out against Americans.

The planned demonstrations are aimed against the Egyptian government.

The officials both emphasized this is contingency planning in advance of the expected demonstrations to ensure American military assets, including rescue forces, can act if needed. In the event Americans had to be evacuated from Egypt and could not get to the airport due to the unrest, there are about 2,000 additional Marines on board three Navy warships in the Red Sea, officials said.

A third official said the decision to keep the warship in the Red Sea was “very precautionary.”

The United States expects Egyptian security forces will be able to protect American assets and personnel. No plans for personnel to leave have been announced, State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell said Friday.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Remember that old phrase, “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help”? Well, it looks like we are hearing it again, at least on the issue of keeping Americans’ retirement funds safe. The U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is weighing whether it should take on a role in ‘helping’ Americans manage the $19.4 trillion they have put into retirement savings. This would be the agency’s first incursion into the investments of consumers.

“That’s one of the things we’ve been exploring and are interested in in terms of whether and what authority we have,” said bureau director Richard Cordray.

New Book Disputes Obama Administration’s Account of Bin Laden Raid

The Obama administration’s account of the mission that killed Osama bin Laden “directly contradicts” the experiences of Navy SEALs involved, according to a new book by former SEAL commander Chuck Pfarrer.

In “SEAL Target Geronimo: The Inside Story of the Mission to Kill Osama bin Laden,” Pfarrer details the mission through extensive interviews with the SEALs involved, the book advertises.

“In a hasty effort to claim victory and make political haste, administration aides changed their stories several times,” reads a press release for the book. “Their leaks made SEAL Team Six look ineffective and clumsy.”

The book sets the record straight, the release claims, “taking readers on the helicopter flight over the wall that leads deep into the terrorist lair and describing what it looked, sounded and smelled like as the bullets flew.”
