Tonight, Barack Obama Will Demand The Right to Create Enemies Lists

Bearing Arms

Tonight, President Barack Obama is going to attempt a common magic trick in an attempt to make the Constitutional rights of all Americans disappear:

“We know that the killers in San Bernardino used military-style assault weapons — weapons of war — to kill as many people as they could,” the president said in a video released Saturday. “It’s another tragic reminder that here in America it’s way too easy for dangerous people to get their hands on a gun.”

“Right now, people on the no-fly list can walk into a store and buy a gun. That is insane,” the president said. “If you’re too dangerous to board a plane, you’re too dangerous, by definition, to buy a gun.”

He called on Congress to close the loophole, saying that while the nation may not be able to prevent every tragedy, “at a bare minimum, we shouldn’t be making it so easy for potential terrorists or criminals to get their hands on a gun that they could use against Americans.”

Obama is addressing the nation tonight, and you’re going to see him attempt to say one thing, and do another.

Obama is going to claim that he wants to summarily strip the constitutional rights of Americans citizens and resident aliens on the “no fly” list without due process, in clear violation of the Constitution. He does not have evidence that anyone on this list is about to commit a crime, or the FBI would arrest them. Instead, he’s asking to “Minority Report” them, and strip them of their liberties because they might one day commit crimes.

But it’s even worse that it seems.

Terror Suspect Looking to Drive School Children

Independent Sentinel

A Minnesota man, Amir Meshal, who has been identified as a terror suspect by Homeland Security and who is on the “No Fly” list, has been given a Class A commercial license. He can drive semis and he has applied for a school bus endorsement.

He is an Al Qaeda suspect.

The state government even paid for him to go. The $4,000 tuition was paid for through the state workforce program.

The ACLU is running the country with the help of liberal lawyers. Wherever leftist liberals go, they reek havoc. They care more about the welfare of wannabe terrorists than the Americans they could harm.

The ACLU sued to get him off the “no-fly” list but the FAA said he might be a threat and will not be removed.

The ACLU responded.

“Mr. Meshal has never been charged with a crime and has sued the government to obtain a fair process to challenge his wrongful inclusion on the No Fly List. Like many other unemployed Americans, he’s trying to obtain credentials for a job so he can build a life for his family, including a baby. Any suggestion that Mr. Meshal’s efforts to get a job somehow present a concern is shameful. On Mr. Meshal’s cases: his unlawful rendition and detention case is on appeal. The latest in the No Fly List case is described here.”

The ACLU is an anti-American, leftist organization that does not have Americans well-being at heart – quite the opposite.

In May 2014, Meshal was removed and trespassed from a Bloomington, Minn. mosque, Al Farooq, after he was suspected of radicalizing young people who would later travel to Syria. According to the police report, religious leaders said, “We have concerns about Meshal interacting with our youth.” Meshal had previously been asked to leave an Eden Prairie, Minn. mosque for similar reasons.

It is believed that he trained in a terror camp in Somalia.

In 2007, The New York Times reported about Meshal: A 24-year old American who told the F.B.I. that he went to Somalia last December to help build an Islamic state there is now being held in an Ethiopian prison, where he was sent after being detained in Kenya.

What ever happened to common sense? Why is this man even in this country? Deport him!

This is beyond ridiculous but this man might be driving children to school.

The Go-Fly List for Terrorists

Human Events
If America’s homeland security policies were subject to truth-in-advertising laws, the “no-fly” list would be known around the world by its right and proper name: the “go-fly” list. As in: Go right ahead, jihadists, and fly our planes. All aboard, evil-doers.
While grandmas and grade-schoolers and war heroes patiently pass through a gauntlet of wands, checkpoints and screening obstacles, the nation’s safety watchdogs are asleep at the wheel. They’ve mentally checked out at the check-in counter. And they’re in over their heads at federal counterterrorism centers, where “watch list” means putting the names of dangerous operatives into massive databases — then idly watching potential bombers waltz through our airports and onto our tarmacs.
The federal no-fly scheme was bypassed or breached easily by both the Christmas Day bomb plotter and the Times Square bomb plotter. In the former case, Nigerian terror operative Umar Abdulmutallab had been on the counterterrorism radar screen for his radical jihadi threats (which had been reported by his father to U.S. embassy officials in London). But the young, single, rootless Muslim extremist with suspicious travel patterns — ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! — did not meet the standards for watch-listing and didn’t even make it onto the second-tier “selectee list” of potential threats who can fly only after additional screening.
