It was called the Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act signed into law in 2016 by then-President Obama (and allowed by Establishment Republicans like Paul Ryan) that took effect in 2017 and allocated a whopping $160 MILLION taxpayer dollars over two years to pay for government-sponsored propaganda. The money is now gone and guess what? About 1000 journalists are suddenly being laid off.

Coincidence? Hah! This was classic Obama, reaching into the bottomless trough of taxpayer dollars to push his self-promoting agenda. He did it with green energy, America-last trade agreements, and his post-2016 coverage to help ensure he remained relevant in order to quickly accumulate tens of millions of dollars worth of book deals, Netflix deals, and speaking fees. 

It’s enough to make even the Clintons blush.

Ex-Ohio Lawmaker Arrested for Murder of Estranged Wife; MSM Plays ‘Guess the Political Party’

A former senior Ohio lawmaker who had served as assistant minority whip in the Ohio legislature was arrested this past weekend for the murder of his estranged wife. He had previously served nine months in state prison for assaulting her in 2014 while a common pleas judge in Cuyahoga County — a position he had been appointed to by then-Gov. Ted Strickland (Democrat).

But would you ever know that Lance Mason was a Democrat? Not if you relied on the media reporting.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported: Former Cuyahoga Common Pleas Judge Lance Mason, who spent nine months in prison for beating his then-wife in front of their children, is accused of fatally stabbing the woman Saturday morning at his Shaker Heights home, according to three sources.

Mason was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of his estranged wife, Aisha Fraser Mason, at his home on Chagrin Boulevard near Normandy Road, the sources said […]

Mason in August 2014 punched his then-wife 20 times and slammed her head against the dashboard of his car five times, breaking her orbital bone.

The couple’s children were in the back of the car when the attack occurred. Mason, who previously served in the state legislature, was a sitting Cuyahoga County judge when the attack happened.

Mason was charged earlier today with felonious assault for crashing into a police cruiser and injuring an officer while leaving the scene of the fatal stabbing. Despite Mason having served in both the Ohio House and Senate, including a stint in leadership of the House Democrat caucus, there’s no mention in the article of his political affiliation.

Mason served two terms in the Ohio House, and was serving a term in the Ohio Senate when he was selected by Democrat Gov. Ted Strickland to fill a seat on the Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas.

After serving nine months of his two year prison sentence for assaulting his wife, Mason was hired last year by Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson as minority business development administrator in the city’s Office of Equal Opportunity. He was fired from that job this past weekend after his arrest on murder charges.

When the story of this weekend’s murder went national yesterday, there was also no mention of Mason’s deep roots in the Ohio Democrat Party…..

One of the more notable differences between Watergate and the metastasizing scandals involving the FBI, our intelligence agencies, and the Obama administration — subjects of the soon-to-be-released inspector general’s report — is that the media exposed Watergate. They aided and abetted the current transgressions.

By providing a willing and virtually unquestioned repository for every anonymous leaker (as long as he or she was on the “right” side) in Washington and beyond, the press has evolved from being part of the solution to being a major part of the problem. Gone are the days of the true “whistle-blower.” Here are the days of the special interest provocateur, shaping public opinion by passing on half-truths and outright lies to their favorite reporter. One might then even call the media, in Orwell’s words, “objectively pro-fascist,” functioning much in the manner of Pravda and Izvestia during that famous author’s time, covertly or overtly pushing the party line in the most slavish and orthodox manner while feigning “objectivity.”

CNN, NBC, the Washington Post and The New York Times — misinforming the public as it hasn’t since the days of their great Stalin-excuser Walter Duranty (still pictured on their Pulitzer wall of honor) — are particularly egregious in this regard. But there are many others. And the current scandal is far, far worse than Watergate, which, bad as it was, was the coverup of a completely unnecessary buffoon-like break-in during an election that was already won in a landslide. What is being exposed now is an attempt by our highest law enforcement agency working in concert with our intelligence agencies and, evidently, the blessing of the former administration itself to block the candidate of the opposing party, even to defraud and spy on him, that is to, as others have said, “set him up.” And then, if they were unsuccessful, make it impossible for him to govern. In addition, in all probability, the same players conspired to make certain Hillary Clinton was not indicted for a crime for which virtually any other American would have done jail time.

The goal of the group is stop and raise awareness about the NDAA, National Defense Authorization Act.

“The NDAA was actually declared unconstitutional by Federal Judge Katherine Forrest in Hedges v Obama.  Judge Katherine Forrest was appointed by the Obama administration, by the way…  The very next day, the Obama administration requested an emergency stay and it was granted by another judge. As a result, the NDAA is still in full swing today. This is just another example of how the courts have failed us and it is up to us locally to stop this,” wrote the Pontiac Tribune.

Five year-old Laylah Petersen was killed when a black gang shot her dead while sitting on her grandfather’s lap.
The national media ignored this story.
Wounded American Warrior reported:

Two black males in Milwaukee walked up to the home of a white family, in a majority black neighborhood, and unleashed a hail of gunfire. A five year old white girl was murdered while sitting on her grandfather’s lap.

Milwaukee police say there is no question the shooters were deliberating trying to kill people inside the house. At least a dozen bullets were fired directly into the house. There may have been a third person driving a getaway car.

The house was located in a census tract that is 77% black and 14% white.

The Milwaukee Sentinel and Milwaukee channel 6 have actually been trying to downplay the murder. They are falsly reporting that it was “a stray bullet.” That directly contradicts all the evidence found by police.

Ave., Milwaukee Police Capt. Eric Moore erupted while discussing the shooting with reporters.
He reminded reporters that 80% of shooting victims and 80% of violent crime in his city were black-on-black crimes.

We live in a strange time. Historically, reporters and editors have believed that their job is to disseminate news. That is no longer true. Now, most reporters and editors believe that their principal function is to prevent people from learning things they are better off not knowing. Day after day, they run interference for their party, the Democrats. Blockading inconvenient stories from making the news is job number one.

Consider Fast and Furious. The Obama administration deliberately encouraged guns to be sold illegally and transferred to Mexican drug lords, for reasons that have never been explained. Hundreds of Mexicans and least one or two Americans died as a result. Was that a news story? In Mexico, yes; here in the U.S., it was generally greeted with yawns.

Libya in 2011 marks the place and the time that the United States (U.S.) and the Obama administration formally switched sides in the Global War on Terror (GWOT). A mere 10 years after al-Qa’eda (supported by Hizballah and Iran) attacked the American homeland in the worst act of terrorism ever suffered by this country, U.S. leadership decided to facilitate the provision of weapons to jihadist militias known to be affiliated with al-Qa’eda and the Muslim Brotherhood in order to bring down a brutal dictator who also just happened to be a U.S. ally in the GWOT at the time.

And the U.S. media were silent. The major broadcast, print, and Internet outlets said not a word about this astonishing turnabout in American foreign policy. To this day, they have not seemed even to recognize that the pivot to support al-Qa’eda took place. But it needs to be said. The American people deserve to understand that their most senior leaders, both elected and appointed, have violated their oaths to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

United States law is quite explicit about providing material support to terrorists: it’s prohibited. Period. 18 U.S. Code § 2339A and 18 U.S. Code § 2339B address Providing Material Support to Terrorists or Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. Together, these two sections outlaw the actions of any U.S. person who attempts or conspires to provide, or actually does provide, material support to a foreign terrorist organization knowing that it has been designated a foreign terrorist organization or engages, or has engaged, in “terrorism” or “terrorist activity.” Conspiracy means agreeing or planning to provide such support, whether or not such support ever is actually delivered. Penalties for conspiracy to provide material support to terrorism are stiff: imprisonment for up to 15 years and/or a fine of not more than $250,000. Penalties for actually providing or attempting to provide material support to terrorism are even harsher: imprisonment from 15 years to life, with a life sentence applicable if the death of any person results from such crime. Aiding, abetting, counseling, or procuring in support of a violation of Section 2339B is punishable by the same penalties as for the offense itself.  

Venezuela Begins to Ignite, as MSM Looks Away

Even with Hugo Chavez gone, Hope & Change will continue to drag on in Venezuela, until such a time as people are able to put a stop to it, just as it will here even after the ruling oligarchy has replaced Obama with another figurehead. Venezuelans are a little further down the road toward straightforward Marxism than we are. Already they have reached the point where any attempt to place Big Government back within its proper constraints is met with censorship and violence:

Over the past week, Venezuelan protesters have been fighting against corruption in the government, high inflation, and a high murder rate.

On February 12th, at least three people were confirmed to have been killed during anti-government protests by “armed vigilantes on motorcycles.”

As [a] result of the growing unrest among the people of Venezuela, the government has censored news and Twitter images.

Now on the fifth day of protests, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro still says he won’t resign.

Instead, Maduro has said he will not let the protesters who call for his resignation cause chaos. According to Reuters, “troops have fired teargas and water cannons to clear about 1,000 protesters who lit trash bonfires and threw stones in an affluent part of eastern Caracas.”

The communist regime in Cuba, which has been openly hostile to the USA for decades to the point of egging on the Soviet Union to attack us with nuclear weapons, is reportedly training thugs to assault and kill protestors.

Considering that Venezuela is in the USA’s backyard, and that it is a major supplier of our energy needs (not to mention baseball players), you would think these events would warrant major news coverage. The “mainstream” media that hyped Obama into power disagrees. As Legal Insurrection notes:

One would never suspect such a crisis is currently going on in Venezuela, to look at the homepages of CNN, Fox, CBS, and ABC News.

Instead, the games in Sochi dominate the homepages.

Do they really think we are that frivolous? Or are they afraid the uprising against Maduro and his brutal response may give us ideas about how events will unfold if Obama continues to violate the Constitution and Republicans continue to collaborate by offering no resistance?

An  arrest has been made in a horrifying crime, but thanks to races of the victim (white) and the perp (black), the  national media are burying the story.  As David Paulin summed it up to me: 

Black  guy murders white guy (in front of white guy’s 12-year-old daughter) because  white guy’s dog sniffed the black guy’s pants while white guy was taking his  daughter to buy ice cream. Imagine how the media would play this if it had been  a white guy who shot a back guy in front of his daughter under similar  circumstances.
