The Corruption Continues…..

The Campaigner in Chief has shifted into the next gear. In his weekly radio address, he said we need to drill for more oil and that by doing so would create more jobs. Remember, Obama is in Campaign Mode and will say anything to get re-elected. I will give Obama credit for one thing, he does know how to campaign, he just doesn’t know when to shut-up. He’s like the used car salesman that keeps calling you after the sale, trying to get you to buy the car you already bought. People don’t seem to remember that it was Obama that signed the oil moratorium after the BP oil rig explosion and he continued to sign them even after a Federal Judge said it was illegal for him to do it. Remember when George Bush was in Office and Congress had a fit when gas prices sky rocketed? Funny how you don’t hear that now, now that there is a Democrat/Socialist/Progressive/Marxist in the White House.

Corruption has taken over Washington and the Politicians should be held accountable.

Judicial Watch has done a great job investigating Obama, below are just a few items  they have found.

Here’s the story liberal mainstream media won’t report on Obama’s permitorium

Washington Examiner

Soon after the Deepwater Horizon tragedy began in the Gulf of Mexico, President Obama imposed a moratorium on all off-shore drilling for oil and natural gas in the Gulf of Mexico.

The moratorium was lifted, finally, after a federal judge twice ruled the administration’s approach was illegal, but not soon enough to prevent thousands of jobs from being lost around the Gulf coast, and not just in the energy industry.

Despite the lost jobs and economic growth from the moratorium, the Obama administration policy transformed into a permitorium following the litigation in federal courts. For months now, federal bureaucrats in the Department of Interior and elsewhere in Washington have slow-walked drilling permit applications in every conceivable manner.

Those continuing delays contribute directly to spiralling gas prices because wells in the Gulf of Mexico account for about a third of the oil produced in this country.

Among the most prominent victims of the Obama energy policy is Seahawk Drilling, which was forced into receivorship following imposition of the moratorium and the loss of shallow-water drilling that was the heart of the firm’s business model.

Seahawk CEO Randall Stilley talks about his company’s agonies in this video jointly produced by the Institute for Energy Research and The Heritage Foundation:

Do as I say…Not as I do

American Thinker
As the water around me continues to swirl in a cyclonic fashion around the drain, I have to ask; have the President and his administration, through example, taught us that it’s okay to pick and choose the laws that we wish to obey?

Since his inauguration, Mr. Obama has flaunted the law on several occasions, and in some cases, completely disregarded the law entirely.  Fox example:

U.S. Backs $1B Loan to Mexico for Oil Drilling Despite Obama Moratorium

Fox News

Despite President Obama’s moratorium on U.S. deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, the U.S. Export-Import Bank intends to guarantee $1 billion in loans to PEMEX, the Mexican state oil company, to bolster the company’s oil drilling in the region.

The bank, which is the official American export credit agency, loaned more than $1 billion to PEMEX in 2009 — when the company was the bank’s largest borrower — in support of its drilling activities. That year, the bank also guaranteed two loans totaling $300 million made by a commercial lender.

The latest request comes during a drilling moratorium that was first imposed by Obama in May to find out what was the cause behind the April 20 Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion killed 11 workers and led to 206 million gallons of oil spewing from BP’s undersea well.
