Needed: A Million More Like Kim Davis

Freedom Outpost

For the first time in American history a woman has been imprisoned by the government for merely exercising her Christian faith. War has been declared on Christ and His followers.

And there’s no turning back.

Anti-Christian persecution is the civil rights cause of our time. The cultural Marxists in power have seceded from our constitutional republican form of government, with its Judeo-Christian moorings, and have supplanted, in its place, a secular-socialist oligarchy. Like Union troops hunkered at Fort Sumter, faithful Christians are now exiles in our own land. Anti-Christian “progressives” have demanded unconditional surrender, and federal Judge David Bunning has fired the first mortar.

Even as I write, a kind, soft-spoken and well respected civil servant of 27 years sits languishing, like some violent criminal, in a Kentucky prison. She is confined, indefinitely and without benefit of a trial, to a tiny cell. She is a political prisoner in a spiritual war. Like so many accidental civil-rights heroes that came before her, Davis, a Democrat who was overwhelmingly elected as Rowan County clerk, has peacefully and graciously refused to violate her Christian conscience. She has declined to sign her name to marriage certificates that defy God’s natural design for the timeless institution and has requested, as a simple accommodation, that either her name be removed from the marriage licenses, thus eliminating her personalized acquiescence to the Supreme Court’s novel attempt to usurp God’s authority and redefine this cornerstone institution, or, alternatively, “to allow licenses to be issued by the chief executive of Rowan County or [by] developing a statewide, online marriage license process.”

DEVELOPING: This State Just Made a Move to Nullify Federal Gun Control

Conservative Tribune

This could be a huge win for supporters of the 2nd Amendment.

Kentucky State Rep. Diane St. Onge recently filed House Bill 13 (HB13) with language that instructs the Kentucky House, “to take all appropriate action to safeguard Kentuckian’s rights to possess firearms in accordance with the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and Section 1 of the Constitution of Kentucky.” (H/T ShallNot)

A bill of this magnitude that utilizes the anti-commandeering doctrine, which can be described as a legal doctrine formulated under several Supreme Court cases to refuse to help the feds enforce federal law, could be the much needed spark that starts the fire needed for more state houses to file and introduce similar legislation to protect American’s right to bear arms, and to allow states to make the rules without federal intervention.

St. Onge’s bill will nullify federal gun laws on the books for the state of Kentucky, which is shown in the bill language below:

Kentucky Attempts to Force Christian Business to Produce Pro-Sodomite T-Shirts

Freedom Outpost
The government in Kentucky is forcing a Christian t-shirt company to make pro-homosexual t-shirts. As one report says:

A Kentucky Human Rights Commission examiner has ordered a Christian screen printing company to print t-shirts that bear pro-homosexual messages and undergo diversity training for declining to make shirts for a “gay pride” celebration two years ago.

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission issued the recommendations of its hearing examiner on Tuesday, declaring that Hands On Originals–a company that identifies as “Christian outfitters” on the home page of its website–violated the Lexington Fairness Ordinance by passing on the requested order because of its religious convictions.

The Gay and Lesbian Services Organization of Lexington (GLSO) had wanted the company to print t-shirts for the 2012 Lexington Gay Pride Festival. When manager Blaine Adamson declined the order due to the company’s biblical convictions not to be partaker of another man’s sins (1 Timothy 5:22, Ephesians 5:7), GLSO filed a complaint with the HRC.

“I want the truth to come out—it’s not that we have a sign on the front door that says, ‘No Gays Allowed,'” owner Blaine Adamson said following the filing of the complaint. “We’ll work with anybody. But if there’s a specific message that conflicts with my convictions, then I can’t promote that.”

Why is this happening? It’s happening because so many people believe that since Christ came and died for our sins, homosexuality must be tolerated.

Top Grimes Donor Caught On Hidden Video: She’s Going To “F**k” Coal Industry As Soon As She’s Elected…

Alison Lundergan Grimes

Weasel Zippers

I think we all know if she were elected this is exactly what would happen…

Via Capitol City Project:

Yesterday, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas Action released a video showing campaign staffers of U.S. Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes admitting she’s deceiving voters on her energy plan. They promised if she were elected, she’d destroy the coal industry in Kentucky despite publicly “supporting” it.

Now, a newly released second video shows a real estate mogul and top donor to Democrats saying, “She’s going to f**k em as soon as she gets elected.”

“Investigators secretly record video at Grimes fundraising event attended by Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, real estate tycoon Niko Elmaleh and New York Knicks owner James Dolan at a swanky NY restaurant,” writes Project Veritas.

Kentucky Catholic church paints ن on door in solidarity with Christians persecuted by Islamic State

Jihad Watch

Kudos to Fr. Jim Sichko and the parishioners of St. Mark’s Church. The Islamic State painted the ن on the door of the homes of Christians in Mosul to mark them for extortion (as per Qur’an 9:29) or extermination. Christians and all free people worldwide should be standing in solidarity with those persecuted Christians, but St. Mark’s is unfortunately in quite rare company: most Catholics (and Christians in general) would never dream of taking on this symbol, as it might harm their precious and spectacularly unproductive “dialogue” with Muslims, and could even be construed as “Islamophobic.” Heaven forfend!

“Special Symbol At Richmond Church Shines Light On World Issue,” Lex18.com, August 5, 2014:

A special symbol on the door of a Richmond Catholic church has people around the world talking.

It’s a symbol that shines brightly on the door of St. Mark Church, piquing the interest of many and sparking conversations far beyond Kentucky.

The symbol – the Aramaic symbol for the letter “n,” which means Nazarean – was placed on the door Thursday evening.

McConnell campaign ad mistakes Duke for Kentucky

Image

As a University of Kentucky fan, there are just some things you just don’t do and one thing is compare Kentucky to Duke or mistake Duke for Kentucky. A True Blue Kentucky Fan would know this. There is only one reason that I would side with Duke and that reason is, if Duke was playing …………..al-Qaeda.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Sen. Mitch McConnell’s latest campaign video hit all the necessary Kentucky high points: horse racing, bluegrass — and Duke basketball?

The campaign was scrambling Tuesday morning to remove an online video that features a split-second clip of Duke basketball players celebrating their 2010 national championship.
