BREAKING: U.S. Lawmakers Make Stunning Move To Investigate Obama For Helping ISIS

Conservative Tribune

Three committees in the House of Representatives announced Friday that they were launching concurrent investigations into allegations that President Barack Obama deliberately manipulated intelligence reports from Syria and Iraq, allowing the Islamic State group to thrive.

According to the Washington Examiner, Republican Reps. Ken Calvert of California, Mike Pompeo of Kansas and Brad Wenstrup of Ohio will lead the investigations for the Armed Services Committee, Intelligence Committee and the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, respectively.

“In addition to looking into the specific allegations, the Joint Task Force will examine whether these allegations reflect systemic problems across the intelligence enterprise in CENTCOM or any other pertinent intelligence organizations,” read a joint statement from Armed Services Committee Chairman Mac Thornberry, R-Texas, Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and Defense Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman Rodney Freylinghuysen, R-N.J.

The investigations by the House committees joined an investigation by the Pentagon’s inspector general’s office in relation to the Obama administration’s alleged manipulation of Islamic State group intelligence at U.S. Central Command.

House Armed Services Committee: Obama Violated Federal Law with Bergdahl Exchange

The Obama administration hits just keep on coming…

A House Armed Services Committee report set to be released Thursday accuses the Obama administration of misleading Congress and violating federal law during a controversial prisoner exchange. The report compiled by the GOP majority charges that the administration did so when it bypassed Congress in negotiating the exchange of five Taliban prisoners for U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was being held in Afghanistan. They suggested that the White House had put politics and expediency ahead of proper procedure in making the deal.

This is the same administration that put politics and expediency ahead of common sense when “ending” the war in Iraq, so this is really no surprise. This president puts politics ahead of everything. If the Republicans are against it, national security be damned. The quickest way to get rid of Obamacare may be to have every Republican in Congress embrace it.

As this entire weird story played out, it always did seem that the administration’s interest in Bergdahl was motivated solely by a need to stick it to Republicans. The timing and the rush to get it done never made sense. It was almost as if the president got bored.

Anyway, there’s no reason to worry, right? After all, nothing bad ever comes of those poor souls released from Gitmo, after all.

Republicans Overturn Obama Decision To Deny Honors And Benefits To The Victims Of Fort Hood Terrorist Attack

Terrorist Attack

Weasel Zippers

Finally, for the long suffering families.

Has Benghazi hero Glen Doherty’s family not received his benefits and insurance for the same absurd reason?

Via IJR:

Republicans on the House Armed Services Committee will overturn one consequence of Obama’s unwillingness to recognize the terrorism of the Fort Hood attack: victims will be eligible for the Purple Heart, allowing survivors to receive better and prompter health care from the VA. More than that, every victim will get the recognition and honor due to them.

From KCEN-TV:
“I applaud the Members of the committee for their leadership in approving this important piece of legislation for Fort Hood and the surrounding community,” said Sen. Cornyn. “The 2009 Fort Hood victims should be eligible for all the honors and benefits available to U.S. troops who fall victim to an international terrorist attack, especially Purple Heart medals, and this would make that a reality.”

“Nearly five years have passed since the horrible tragedy at Fort Hood took the lives of 13 innocent Americans,” said Congressman Williams. “It is beyond comprehension why the current Administration has labeled this gruesome terrorist attack “workplace violence,” leaving the victims and their families without the benefits, treatment and honor they earned and deserve. This provision in the NDAA would restore the full range of deserved benefits for the victims. Though justice cannot bring back those we lost, justice can be served for the killed and injured troops whose brave actions prevented further bloodshed.

This comes at the same time that the administration is defending itself against charges that decisions were made in the Benghazi attack were animated by the same impulse – to protect Obama instead of protecting Americans.
