100 ISIS Terrorists Caught in Guatemala as Central American Caravan Heads to U.S.

Judicial Watch

In a startling revelation, Guatemala’s president announced in the country’s largest newspaper that nearly 100 ISIS terrorists have been apprehended in the impoverished Central American nation. Why should Americans care about this? A caravan of Central American migrants is making its way north. Let’s not forget that Guatemala is one of the countries that bombarded the U.S. with illegal immigrant minors under Barack Obama’s open border free-for-all. They came in droves from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala through the Mexican border and for years Uncle Sam rolled out the welcome mat offering housing, food, medical treatment and a free education

A terrorist could have easily slipped in considering the minors, coined Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), were not properly vetted and some turned out to be violent gangbangers who went on to commit heinous crimes in their adopted land of opportunity. In fact, the nation’s most violent street gang, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), was energized by the barrage of UACs. The Texas Department of Public Safety even issued a report documenting how the MS-13 emerged as a top tier gang in the state thanks to the influx of illegal alien gang members that came with the UACs. At the time more than 60,000 UACs—many with criminal histories—had stormed into the U.S. in a matter of months. Tens of thousands more eventually made it north.

Guatemala has long been known as a major smuggling corridor for foreigners from African and Asian countries making their way into the U.S. Last year Guatemala’s largest paper, Prensa Libra, published an in-depth piece on the inner workings of an international human smuggling network that moves migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh to the U.S. Individuals are sent to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates then flown to Brazil before heading to Colombia. Once in South America, the migrants are transported to Panama before moving on to Costa Rica then a central point on Guatemala. One Spanish news report refers to Guatemala as a human smuggling paradise because it’s so easy to get fake passports. A few years ago, the head of Guatemala’s passport division got arrested for selling fake passports to a group of Colombians, according to a government announcement.

All this makes ISIS terrorists operating in Guatemala incredibly alarming. President Jimmy Morales confirmed it during a recent security conference attended by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as well as the presidents of Honduras and El Salvador and other Latin American dignitaries. Morales said that his administration has captured “close to 100 persons completely involved with terrorists, with ISIS and we have not only detained them within our territory, but they have been deported to their country of origin.” Several of the terrorists were Syrians caught with fake documents, according to Guatemala’s head of intelligence. At the same event, President Morales also revealed that Guatemalan authorities captured more than 1,000 gangbangers, including members of the MS-13.

Many more probably make it into the U.S. via the Mexican border and a lot of them get released inside the country. In fact, Border Patrol agents in Texas have been ordered to release illegal immigrants caught entering through Mexico because detentions facilities have no bed space, according to a news report. Earlier this year Judicial Watch exposed a secret program—started by Obama and continued by Trump— that quietly relocates illegal immigrants to different parts of the country on commercial flights. Years earlier Judicial Watch uncovered a similar DHS initiative that transported illegal immigrants from the Mexican border to Phoenix and released them without proper processing. The government classified them as Other Than Mexican (OTM) and transferred them 116 miles north from Tucson to a Phoenix bus station where they went their separate way. The OTMs were from Honduras, Colombia, El Salvador and Guatemala and a security company contracted by the U.S. government drove the OTMs from the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector where they were in custody to Phoenix. Some could have been ISIS operatives.

Importing a Potential Epidemic

By now most Americans are familiar with the Obama administration’s ongoing effort to force-feed amnesty for illegals to a largely recalcitrant American public. The most egregious part of this effort occurred during last year’s border “surge” when the administration not only embraced the admittance of tens of thousands of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) into our nation, but the purposeful and secret dispersal of them into all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

What Americans don’t know is that the Obama administration ignored Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines that apply to legal immigrants and prevent the unvaccinated, or those with a “communicable disease of public health significance,” from entering the country. As a result, it is quite possible the outbreak of unknown diseases or those mostly eradicated in the U.S. for quite some time is no coincidence. The administration’s stance on the issue? A combination of silence, denial, or blame-shifting to the anti-vaxxer crowd.

Obama’s Taking It to the Streets. The Coming Explosion in Murder and Other Violent Crime.

Free Republic

Obama has declared a ceaseless war on the citizens of the United States. Obama is facilitating, cheerleading, and dispersing tides of illegals–from the most violent, crime-ridden countries in the world–into American towns and cities from sea to sea.

These are excerpts from official reports of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) of the U.S. Department of State:

12,509 illegal kids already over border in second wave, just 1 in 6 returned

Free Republic

via Washington Examiner

The next explosion of illegal teen border crossing is in full swing, but just one-in-six are being sent home, with most of the rest settled in the United States, according to new government figures.

The U.S. Border Patrol agency reported that they have seized 12,509 illegals under age 18 since October, making it the second biggest surge in history after last year’s unprecedented movement of unaccompanied youths across the nation’s southern border.

However, when compared to the numbers of illegal kids turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, it is clear that most are being “booked in” to U.S. facilities and then released — not sent home. ICE documents provided to the Washington Examiner shows that ICE is accepting an average of 2,000 a month, meaning that the Border Patrol is returning just one of six kids to their countries, mostly Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.

Polices for Central America that have been Rejected Here

Family Security Matters

On his return from a meeting with regional leaders in Guatemala, Vice President Joe Biden penned an op-ed for The Hill newspaper in Washington DC. In it, he laid out the Obama administration’s plans to promote economic development in Central America with an eye to reducing illegal immigration from that turbulent region to the United States. The proposals were astounding not because of their goal, though one can question how sincere the administration is about curbing illegal immigration given how warmly it has embraced those who have crossed the U.S. border without permission; but because they are based on principles that President Barack Obama has rejected here at home.

One of the first items Biden mentioned was “complete the construction of a gas pipeline from Mexico to Central America, making energy more affordable for consumers.” Though the idea of a pipeline has been around for some time, working groups were only set up last October to study the various regulatory, financial, commercial and budget issues involved for a gas pipeline from Mexico to Guatemala. Last Friday (March 13), Enrique Pena Nieto, President of Mexico, Otto Perez Molina, President of Guatemala, and Juan Orlando Hernandez, President of Honduras signed a commitment to the construction of the gas pipeline at a ceremony in Mexico’s National Palace. The $530 million project is still looking for foreign investment, though the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) may fund much of it. IDB President Luis Alberto Moreno of Columbia was part of the Guatemala meeting with Biden and the Presidents of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. It is not clear if some of the $1 billion the Obama administration has requested in its 2016 budget for support of Central American projects will go the pipeline. However, the U.S. provides 30.1% of the IDB’s capital.

Mexican Drug Cartels Are on the Move

Family Security Matters
The Mexican drug cartels are on the move.  They are moving their drugs, their thugs and their influence including violence north into the United States of America and having a wide ranging and profound impact on our nation and the people who live in our country.
The disturbing report that appeared on the Fox News website on Tuesday, December 28th also makes it clear that the Mexican cartels are also moving south into Guatemala.
The “War on Terror” has been referred to as “asymmetrical warfare” because it involves individuals who are not the leaders of governments but are rather part of wide-ranging organizations that are intent on spreading their influence and ideology across international borders but do not provide clear targets for the nation being attacked to go after.
