Wake up, Obama, climate change has been happening forever

Family Security Matters

President Obama hiked to Exit Glacier in Alaska last week, with photographers in tow, to send the world a message: The glacier is melting.

Obama blames it on the increasing use of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas, which he wants to restrict not only in the United States but worldwide. The photo op was designed to build support for an international climate agreement he’s pushing hard to sell, so far with little success.
Trouble is, the president needs to get his facts straight. Exit Glacier has been shrinking for 200 years – since 1815 – long before widespread industrialization and automobiles. As the president ended his trip, he sounded the alarm again: “This state’s climate is changing before our eyes.”

News flash, Mr. President: Alaska has been buffeted by cyclical swings in climate for thousands of years. That’s true for the rest of the world, too. There was a 300-year-long Medieval heat wave, followed by a Little Ice Age that began around 1300, and then the 300-year warming period we’re in now.

FCC Commissioner: Government Seizing FCC and Internet February 26

Independent Sentinal

The Government Will Tell You What Service Plans You Can Choose

Barack Obama has taken over the FCC and the Internet. I previously posted information about this which was made known thanks to Republican FCC Commission Ajit Pai. He was not supposed to release any information before it becomes final on February 26th. The rule is being put through under cover of complete secrecy.

The government has invented a problem on the Internet that doesn’t exist to create a solution using authority it doesn’t have putting people in charge who do not have the expertise.

Obama’s new regulations will control rates of any net provider and all their relationships.

Ajit Pai

The FCC is supposed to be independent but Mr. Obama told the FCC exactly what he wants. His new neutrality law does the opposite of what he claims it will do.

It is a government takeover of every aspect of the Internet. It will cost billions – over $11 billion to start – and it will control what is on the Internet. Providers will be under the powerful control of the government.

Inhofe blocks climate change resolution

The Hill

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) blocked Senate Democrats on Monday from passing a resolution that would have acknowledged the reality of climate change.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) asked unanimous consent to pass S.Res. 524, which is a measure that expresses the sense of the Senate that climate change is occurring and poses a risk to the United States. But Inhofe objected.

“All we wanted to say in this resolution is climate change is happening,” Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said on the Senate floor. “We can’t afford to sit around here debating whether climate change is real.”

Inhofe has been an ardent climate change denier, saying it is the “biggest hoax” perpetrated against mankind.

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), who is a sponsor of the resolution, said Inhofe was living in an “alternate reality.”

“To say that we have no warming is just not factual,” Whitehouse said. “Ignorant, out-of-touch or crazy — that’s what young Republicans think of that position.”

Klobuchar said she would try again to pass the resolution because the Senate looks “silly” for ignoring scientific agreement.

Obama Stars in The No-Name Law That Sank His Party

American Thinker

When  the Pelosi-Reid-Obama troika triumphantly celebrated cramming through the ACA  (Affordable Care Act) over majority sentiment, they crowed that this was the  president’s signature achievement and ACA soon took on the name of its creator,  ObamaCare. Though not one of them, nor any of the Democrats in the Senate who  voted it into law uni-partisanly had read it, they all assured us that we’d grow  to really, really like it. Boy, were they wrong.

We’ve  paid almost a billion dollars to a Canadian firm whose vice-president is a  college buddy of Michelle Obama’s from their black radical days at Princeton to  create a webpage to enroll people mandated by this law to do so, Obama having  turned down the U.S. firm IBM’s offer to create it for  free. It doesn’t work. Moreover, the continuing problems with this  webpage — and law — are so substantial and intractable that the White  House propaganda machine has stopped referring to it as ObamaCare or even the  Affordable Care Act. Everyone now knows that for most people, the plan loaded  with mandated coverage to curry favors with privileged tranches of voters like  college girls who want free contraceptives and abortion coverage and to permit  anyone to sign up after they found out they need costly care, not  before, is far more expensive than what they were previously paying for medical  insurance. It’s some kind of no-name thing. Either that or, to be an honest  descriptor, we could call it the UFA (Unaffordable Care Act). Under any name  it’s dramatically swamping the president and his party’s standing among  voters.

The Alinsky Method: Destroy Morality so the Masses will Demand More Government Control

Freedom Outpost

obama_alinskyMany  in America are awakening to the “Alinsky  method” that so many writers, including myself, have spent much time and  effort trying to educate people about. One of Alinsky’s main tenants in  striving  for social chaos was to use an opponent’s own rules and values against  them. He  said of this tactic that it would be impossible, for example, for the  Christian  Church to live up to all of their rules so, as far as Alinsky was  concerned this  was the perfect tactic guaranteed to ridicule an opponent into  submission. What  I am seeing is that this game is being played on a very large  scale, and in  fact, the very value that they are seeking to use against us is  freedom itself.   The communists have been playing a game where the goal is to  convince you and me  that freedom is dangerous and that we as human beings are  in no way capable of  making responsible decisions, and we must therefore, let  the government assume  that responsibility for us. How are they doing this? You  know the answer to that  question; they are deliberately destroying our  morality, thus giving rise to the  need for a strict police state to govern our  every move.

This is just my personal theory, but there is substantial evidence to back it  up.  One of the most significant sources of this evidence, in my opinion, is  the  45  declared goals of the communist party, which were entered into the  congressional record in 1963. I have written many articles concerning some of these goals and how they  may, theoretically, be pertaining to many events we are witnessing today. One  of  the most compelling that I have written about a couple of times is the  discrediting of the constitution and Americas founding fathers. Of course we  see  this occurring daily in education as they have become as brazen as to  actually  rewrite the second amendment in some of our children’s history books.  There is  another that is a little less subtle and is a direct affront to the  very ideals  of liberty.

We all understand that the first amendment protects the rights of religious  liberty, assembly and speech. What many may have come to misunderstand;  however,  is the intent behind the word “speech.” The first amendment protects  political  and religious speech that is essential in the guarding of liberty. It  was never  intended to protect the vile disgusting things broadcast daily on the  television  set. One of the 45  communist goals was to discredit the first amendment by advocating against  censorship laws claiming they were a violation of the first amendment.

From the 45 declared goals of the Communist Party-

Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorship  and a violation of free speech and free press.

The communists understand that free speech is a value that we hold to the  highest ideals and because of this they were able to use it against us very  effectively by accusing us of infringing on the free speech rights of others if  we suggest the need for censorship. All the while, as our society grows more  and  more vile and decadent, the fact that we have free speech becomes the  culprit in  the minds of the uneducated. Thus, creating a situation where  freedom and our  constitution has been discredited and a solution is demanded to  deal with our  decaying morality that is allowed to fester on unimpeded.

It’s the perfect example of the Hegelian  Dialectic at play. The problem is created and the public is conned into  begging for a solution that the communists already have in waiting. It’s  important to understand that according to the U.N. Declaration of human rights,  people have a right to “freedom of expression” not freedom of speech. Free  speech is dangerous as speech can be used as a weapon. Expression can be  controlled and in its simplest definition, expression pertains to some type of  performance art form. So people may be free to express themselves, but not  through the means of political speech that is geared at telling the truth.  Failure to understand this difference can mean a great deal in the pursuit of  liberty.

It is imperative that we work to restore some semblance of morality in this  nation because as we slide further and further into the abyss the more likely  it  is that someone else’s morality will be enforced upon us.  I am quite  confident  that you know what I am referring too.

New York: No Manufacturers Planning To Make 7-Round Magazines To Comply With Cuomo’s New Anti-Gun Law…

Weasel Zippers

If the standard 10-round magazine will be illegal, and nobody makes a 7-round magazine, wouldn’t this be a de facto ban on most guns?

ROCHESTER — Starting April 15, New York will have the smallest gun magazine limit in the country, and all signs indicate no gun makers have plans to accommodate it.

Gun manufacturers have never had a reason to make a magazine with fewer than 10 rounds, because no state required it until now. And, as far as local gun dealers and the Democrat and Chronicle have been able to determine, there are no manufacturers planning to make seven-round magazines.

This means that in less than two months, gun dealers such as Paul Martin, owner of Pro-Gun Services in Victor, can only sell something that doesn’t exist yet.

“There was never a need for a (seven-round magazine),” Martin said. “Not many manufacturers are going to bother to make something just for the state of New York.”

The New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act, passed in January, says gun dealers cannot sell magazines with more than seven rounds beginning April 15. However, three gun dealers in the Rochester area say manufacturers don’t make a seven-round magazine for most guns, and several manufacturers don’t disagree. This leaves store owners wondering what they are going to sell.

“Can you realistically expect a company that’s huge to gear up and say, ‘Let’s make something for those poor suckers in New York because they’ve got a bad law,’” said Fred Calcagno, owner of American Sportsman in East Rochester.
