In just 10 days a new administration takes over the executive branch of government. Among the agencies to be taken over will be the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF). Will the infamous Operation & Furious documents be available to the newcomers or has the current BATF already destroyed those files? Ditto for the Department of Justice.

No matter how many times it is disproved, members of the Obama administration and the liberal media continue to claim that President Barack Obama has overseen a scandal-free executive branch during his two terms in office. Nothing could be further from the truth. Fast & Furious [1], the IRS targeting scandal [2], Benghazi [3], and the Veterans Administration scandal [4] are but a taste of President Obama’s scandal-ridden leadership.
The latest in the voices declaring Obama scandal-free is senior advisor Valerie Jarrett, who said recently on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” that “The President prides himself on the fact that his administration hasn’t had a scandal and that he hasn’t done something to embarrass himself. But that’s not because he’s being someone other than who he is. That’s because that’s who he is, that’s who they are, and I think that’s what really resonates with the American people.” A fawning Zakaria also asked Jarrett about Obama’s “cool,” “discipline,” and “dignity” on his January 1 show [5], which was entitled “Voices From the Obama Years.” “Over the last few months, we have had extraordinary access to the White House, to officials current and former. It was all for a documentary about President Obama’s legacy,” said Zakaria.
With President Obama set to step down this month and give way to soon-to-be President Donald Trump, the media are even more eager to contrast the current President with his already demonized successor.
According to a Justice Department watchdog group, it appears that the “Operation Fast and Furious” fiasco might have a part 2. The group says that Federal agents and prosecutors made a ridiculous amount of errors while investigating a U.S. citizen who was smuggling military surplus grenade components into Mexico for conversion into real grenades that cartel’s could use. The highly critical report stated that the ATF “did not adequately consider the risk to public safety in the United States and Mexico created by the subjects’ illegal activities.”
When even Marxist and “progressive” icon Noam Chomsky is sounding the alarm about Obama’s dissolution of human tights and the US Republic, one knows that America is in the deepest trouble it has been in since prior to the American Revolution in the 1700s. I would even venture to state that the situation in which we find ourselves today is far more dire than in those early days; when my ancestors fought in the American Revolution in order to establish this country.
Scandal after Scandal to Divert and Deceive
To date (there may even be more before I’ve finished writing this column), Obama’s scandals partially include (some reports show that these scandals are now in the mid-30+ range) the below items:

The director of the government agency responsible for the Fast & Furious sting operation that allowed weapons to flow across the Mexican border confirmed Wednesday that no one involved in the botched gun-running project has been fired.
Todd Jones, the director of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives told a House Government Reform and Oversight Committee hearing that some employees involved in the Fast and Furious operation were disciplined and others resigned with pensions, but no one was terminated.
Committee Chairman Darrell Issa questioned whether the ATF and Mr. Jones had demonstrated full accountability for the operation after an inspector general’s report revealed deep flaws with the plan and its execution.
Mr. Jones responded that “everyone involved in the ATF in the chain of command has either been disciplined or is no longer working with the agency.”
Mr. Issa pressed, “But the answer of fired is no. Is that correct?”
Mr. Jones replied, “As a result of the inspector general’s report, the answer is no.”

Rather than being imprisoned for his role in the Fast & Furious gunrunning outrage, Attorney General Eric Holder has been left in power. Consequently,
[P]olice believe explosives found at a murder scene in Mexico may have come from an American bomb-maker whom the U.S. attorney in Arizona refused to prosecute.
According to an internal U.S. Department of Justice memo, a “Kingery grenade” was among the 10 explosives found at the scene of a shootout between police and drug cartels in Guadalajara on Oct. 10 in which three officers were killed.
The “Kingery grenade” refers to those manufactured by Jean Baptiste Kingery, a California resident who made grenades in Mexico from parts sourced in the U.S. He also converted AK-47s from semi- to fully-automatic weapons.
ATF agents arrested Kingery in 2010, but the assistant U.S. attorney in Arizona at the time, Emory Hurley, referred to the grenades as harmless toys and told the ATF the case “lacked jury appeal,” according to the ATF supervisor in charge, Pete Forcelli.
And so…
Kingery continued making some 2,000 bombs for the cartels until Mexican federal police raided his Sonora factory in 2011. Such grenades have been used in cartel attacks in public streets, bars and nightclubs.
To track down the Obama Regime’s motives for facilitating this bloodshed, follow the liberal ideology that drives it.
[Darrell] Issa [R-CA], who is chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, believes Kingery was permitted to continue to build grenades and export weapons as a way to justify limiting weapons sales in the southwest.
“When you have the attorney general’s own offices being informed about a very dangerous person exporting hand grenades and converting AK-47s into machine guns and they let him continue as part of not, Fast and Furious, but a completely separate failure, I think what you see is an administration that I’m beginning to think really did want to let bad things happen in hopes they would get [an] assault weapons ban. The dots are being connected more and more to these kinds of actions.”
Enough dots should have been connected by now to remove not only Holder but Obama from office.

“More recovered Mexican crime guns highlight inequities, unanswered questions.”
Gun Rights Examiner investigative reporter David Codrea is asking questions no one else seems to want to about a central figure in the Fast & Furious gun running operation – an ATF supervisor who not only looked the other way, but enabled an untold number of weapons to “walk” across the border into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.
Meet Phoenix Field Division Group VII Supervisor David Voth, if not the mastermind of Fast & Furious, certainly the ATF employee who made sure it happened.
The Phoenix Field Division is the office from which Fast and Furious operations were conducted.
Voth was the supervisor who signed a letter instructing a dealer to complete a cash firearms transaction without Form 4473 paperwork, characterized by Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars as “startling proof that the Federal government did not merely ‘lose track’ of weapons purchased by ‘straw buyers’ under surveillance by the ATF and destined for the Mexican drug cartels. In an undercover operation ordered by Fast and Furious supervisor David Voth, the U.S. government purchased firearms with taxpayer money from licensed firearms dealers, instructed them to conduct the sales ‘off the books,’ and used an ATF agent, [whistleblower] John Dodson, to deliver them directly to people that Dodson believed were conducting them across the border.”
Voth is named as one of the defendant in the conspiracy and cover-up lawsuit filed by the parents of murdered ICE agent Jaime Zapata. He was a central figure portrayed as a victim in Katherine Eban’s since-debunked Fortune piece, and he’s someone who has yet to offer a compelling explanation for why a key suspect, who was stopped at the border with hidden ammunition in his vehicle, was let go.
So where is the investigation? Well, Voth was conveniently transferred to ATF HQ.
And according to Codrea, congressional investigation under Rep. Darrel Issa (R- CA) ”hasn’t shown much interest in following up on things of late, and the Republican leadership hardly seems inclined to encourage him to do so, for reasons we can only speculate.”

After refusing on Tuesday to provide Darrell Issa with the promised winnowed-down-by-Boehner-to-1,300 requested emails, Holder asked Obama Wednesday to approve Executive Privilege to end his provision to Congress of any and all additional materials that could harm him and Obama. Suffice it to say, Obama immediately signed off on it and issued yet another infamous ObamaFiat. Judge Andrew Napolitano advised that this action by Obama is illegal, as Executive Privilege applies only to Presidential correspondences.
