The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission [EEOC], operating without restraint, is now deciding “hostile work environment” harassment claims brought by federal agencies. If they suspect harassment, they then sue.

For example, Confederate T-shirts are now punishable harassment as is other political speech according to the EEOC.

A formal complaint by an African American was filed in 2013 against a coworker for wearing a cap with the insignia of the Gadsden Flag which pictures a coiled snake and contains the phrase, “Don’t Tread on Me.” The complainant found it racially offensive because he determined Christopher Gadsden was a “slave trader and owner of slaves.”

We are talking about the 1700s here.

The complaint was dismissed in 2014 because the complainant failed to state a claim but it’s been resurrected and it’s being investigated now.

The complainant alleged that the Gadsden Flag, the first Navy Jack, is a “historical indicator of white resentment against blacks stemming largely from the Tea Party.” He added that the Vice President of the International Association of Black Professional Firefighters cited the Gadsden Flag as the equivalent of the Confederate Battle Flag.

Pentagon Orders Navy SEALs To Remove “Don’t Tread On Me” Navy Jack From Uniforms…

Weasel Zippers

Sadly, we’ve come to expect this from the Obama-run Pentagon.

Via Daily Caller:

The Navy Jack is the ‘don’t tread on me’ flag, one that has earned a revered place in America’s naval history and a beloved place in sailor’s hearts, through its use for over two centuries. This symbol of America’s naval ferocity has spanned our country’s entire existence, flying from the masts of the Continental Navy during the war of independence, to today’s War on Terror. In fact, an amendment to the Navy code called SECNAV Instruction 10520.6 clearly states that as of 31 May 2002 all ships are to fly the flag throughout the duration of the War on Terror.

So why would ranking SEAL commanders ban the historical symbol? Is the proverbial top bass banning the flag? Is President Obama?

Clearly the administration and sycophant “top brass” officers have degraded America’s military prestige; from hand-tying rules of engagement, to uniform regulations that make our military allegedly more compatible with foreign forces, to the banning of an awe-inspiring flag that traces its roots to the first U.S. Navy. We have a civilian-led military, but why should our ranking commanders be complicit in the administration’s war on it? Why don’t they stand up to Obama and his leftist cronies?

During my two deployments to Iraq, “Don’t  Tread on Me” was a phrase seen on nearly every uniform and platoon space — including mine. From patches to flags to large paintings on concrete barriers, our commanders themselves wore the insignia on their sleeves — until now.

American People to Barack Obama on Gun Control: “Our Eyes Are Wide Open!”

Freedom Outpost

“Don’t tread on me.”

–The Gadsden Flag

As the gun control issue rages on – and rest assured, friends, it is raging  on – gun-grabbing criminals tell one contrived or fabricated lie after another,  acting under the guise of representing the people while they continue down the  road of pushing their illegal agenda “forward” in the face of the American  people.

If it is not Gabby Giffords receiving  three illegal contributions through Americans for Responsible Solutions PAC  (which amounts to $15,250), why, then it is Barack Hussein Obama  attempting to give over control to the United  Nations through illegal and unconstitutional means.

Why is Barack attempting to circumvent “We the People”? Because the American  people stood up and shouted out, “Our eyes are wide open!”

Gadsden Flag License Plates: A Nationwide Movement?

Right Side News
We are on a roll. The great resurgence of American patriotism fueled by the Tea Party revolt made its voice heard this November 2nd. Not only did the corrupt Democrat Congress suffer a big reversal, but more importantly, Republicans won the largest majority of state houses they have had since 1928, and made a net gain of ten governorships, now holding a majority of 29 to 18. This is critical to the redistricting that will determine Party control for the next ten years, and is a serious setback for the Left..  (see related DONT TREAD ON ME)
Tread-on-Me-License-PlateIn keeping with the Tea Party’s spirit of resistance and freedom, you may soon be able to express your defiance with a Gadsden Flag license plate. As reported first by Right Side News in October, the original idea was the brainchild of Virginia Tea Party group 912 Richmond. On October 14th Henrico County, Virginia, Delegate John O’Bannon proposed HB 1418 to make this plate official.
