The destruction of the US military keeps humming along at a breakneck pace.

According to the Pentagon and the Faustian Sellouts of the Round Table, aka the Joint Chiefs of Staff, things are going splendidly in the US military.

As the military reels from severe readiness, morale and social issues, you will consistently hear some bureaucratic clown like Secretary of Defense Ash Carter declare that this is the best military the US has ever fielded.

Hmm?..

In the screenwriting world, they call that “a beat,” aka dead silence.

Let’s take a look at how well things are going these days:

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new Benghazi email from then-Department of Defense Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to State Department leadership immediately offering “forces that could move to Benghazi” during the terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. In an email sent to top Department of State officials, at 7:19 p.m. ET, only hours after the attack had begun, Bash says, “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.” The Obama administration redacted the details of the military forces available, oddly citing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption that allows the withholding of “deliberative process” information.

Bash’s email seems to directly contradict testimony given by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta before the Senate Armed Services Committee in February 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained more than 100 pages of previously classified “Secret” documents from the Department of Defense (DOD)and the Department of State revealing that DOD almost immediately reported that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was committed by the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR), and had been planned at least 10 days in advance. Rahman is known as the Blind Sheikh, and is serving life in prison for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist acts.  The new documents also provide the first official confirmation that shows the U.S. government was aware of arms shipments from Benghazi to Syria.  The documents also include an August 2012 analysis warning of the rise of ISIS and the predicted failure of the Obama policy of regime change in Syria.

The documents were released in response to a court order in accordance with a May 15, 2014, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against both the DOD and State Department seeking communications between the two agencies and congressional leaders “on matters related to the activities of any agency or department of the U.S. government at the Special Mission Compound and/or classified annex in Benghazi.”

Obama Asserts Fast and Furious Executive Privilege Claim for Holder’s Wife

Judicial Watch announced today that it received from the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) a “Vaughn index” detailing records about the Operation Fast and Furious scandal.  The index was forced out of the Obama administration thanks to JW’s June 2012 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and subsequent September 2012 FOIA lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. Department of Justice (No. 1:12-cv-01510)).  A federal court had ordered the production over the objections of the Obama Justice Department.

The document details the Attorney General Holder’s personal involvement in managing the Justice Department’s strategy on media and Congressional investigations into the Fast and Furious scandal.  Notably, the document discloses that emails between Attorney General Holder and his wife Sharon Malone – as well as his mother – are being withheld under an extraordinary claim of executive privilege as well as a dubious claim of deliberative process privilege under the Freedom of Information Act.  The “First Lady of the Justice Department” is a physician and not a government employee.

WH Rules: Violation in Terrorist Swap Punishable By Jail, Suspension, Removal of Office

The law violated by the Obama administration when it secretly exchanged five Guantanamo terrorists for an Army solider captured by the Taliban after deserting his post is punishable by jail, suspension and removal of office, according to written White House rules.

The nonpartisan investigative arm of Congress, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), confirmed this week that the president broke a “clear and unambiguous” law when he swapped the high-level terrorists for Bowe Bergdahl, an Army sergeant who went AWOL in Afghanistan in 2009. According to rules issued by the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) the violation is serious and can carry severe consequences. They include fines, imprisonment, administrative discipline, suspension from duty without pay or removal from office, the rules specifically state.

Pentagon To Review Training Materials That List Evangelical Christianity And Catholicism As “Religious Extremism”…

The Department of Defense will review its military training materials following a coalition of religious liberty advocates expressing outrage in a letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel that Christianity is described in the materials as “religious extremism” based, in part, on categorization provided to the government by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The letter, signed by a large coalition that includes the Family Research Council, American Values, Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty (CARL), Judicial Watch and the Media Research Center – the parent organization of CNSNews.com – is the culmination of a sequence of events that began with a non-commissioned officer telling CARL about the training materials. Orthodox Judaism is also on the “extremism” list, along with the Klu Klux Kan, the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda.

CNSNews.com asked DOD if the secretary would respond to the letter and received an email response from Nathan Christensen, DOD spokesman who began by saying that it would be “inappropriate” for him to speak for Hagel.

“However, I can tell you that the Department is taking four actions,” Christensen told CNSNews.com. “First, the Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness has directed the Services to complete a review of their MEO training programs to ensure it comports with policy and guidance.

Obama’s DOD Publishes Military Primers Identifying Conservatives As Extremists And Haters

Beware, all patriotic Americans who hold the Constitution sacred.  Obama’s Department of Defense has labeled you an extremist and a hater; and with the help of the Southern Poverty Law Center they’re teaching military personnel how to identify you.  The DOD warns that sheet-wearing KKK behavior has been replaced with “talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place”.  The document, also, equates today’s Conservatives with Colonists fighting British oppression.  No surprise, they categorize the 9/11 attack as a “historical event”.

Benghazi Key Witness Made Available To Congress After “Administrative Error” Kept Him Hidden For Months

Marine Col. George Bristol is a key witness in the Benghazi attack  investigation by Congress. On Friday, the Defense Department has now stated they  will allow members of Congress to speak with Col Bristol, who was in command of  the U.S. Special Forces in Northern Africa (AFRICOMM) on September 11, 2012.   Officials had previously told Congress that he was retired and couldn’t be found  and so could not be made available.  Now they are claiming that was an “administrative  error.”  U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) were  among those who have never accepted that excuse.
