Obama Admin: Promoting Murder of US Troops Okay for Obama Funders, But Not for Muslim Clerics

The Obama State Department this week disavowed its promotion of a Muslim cleric after it was reported by the Washington Free Beacon that the cleric, Sheik Abdallah Bin Bayyah, endorsed a fatwa in 2004 authorizing Muslims to kill U.S. troops in Iraq.

At the same time, the Obama administration continues to deal with Obama funder and Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans who helped deliver cash and humanitarian aid to “the other side” in Fallujah in 2004 and made a personal statement in 2005 supporting the killing of U.S. troops in Iraq.

The double standard stinks to high heaven but is what has been come to be expected from the Obama administration.

Terrorist supporter Susan ‘Medea’ Benjamin spoke sympathetically of al Qaeda terrorists in a speech to a leftist group in Miami, Florida last week.

Benjamin, co-founder of the leftist front group Code Pink, spoke on February 18th to a gathering of fellow leftists at Florida International University according to a report by the leftist site FightBack!News.

“Medea Benjamin spoke about her travels to American-created war zones and areas being targeted by U.S. drones. She described tragic encounters with families of those murdered by American drones in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Somalia – including the mother of three sons who were all targeted and killed by drone strikes.

“”It is horrible that there are so many innocent casualties,” she said. “But even those actually targeted by drones and labeled as ‘militants’ are usually young people who join organizations like Al Qaeda because they don’t have much and have run out of options. Hearing their families speak about them was like hearing about young people who decide to join gangs in the U.S.””

Yes, Susie, people who join al Qaeda–the world-renowned terrorist group famous for the 9/11 attacks on America–are doing so for the paycheck, not the promise of eternal life with 72 virgins and the chance to slaughter Americans, Jews and anti-Islamist Muslims with bombings, plane hijackings and suicide attacks.

Benjamin also fails to note that many al Qaeda terrorists are well educated sons (and daughters) of privilege.

Last year Benjamin and her Code Pink co-leader—and Obama bundler—Jodie Evans traveled to Yemen where they met with the father of slain al Qaeda spiritual leader Anwar al-Awlaki and raised funds for the families of al Qaeda terrorists.

Such talk and terrorist alliances have not prevented Code Pink from working with President Barack Obama and leaders in the Democratic Party.

The Left’s political pilgrimage vis-à-vis totalitarian monstrosities continues unabated. With the Islamo-Fascist Muslim Brotherhood now poised to share governance in Egypt in the post-Mubarak era, progressives worldwide are salivating with glee. And it’s to be completely expected of course: the Left has a long and eerie tradition of worshiping at the feet of tyrants and terrorists. The Muslim Brotherhood is the ideological forebear of Hamas and al-Qaeda. Its top priorities are to implement Sharia law, annihilate Israel, and purify Egypt from American and Western infections with human blood. Naturally, the Left has now found a new target for a political romance.

The usual suspects are leading the progressive charge: the notorious Obama fundraiser group Code Pink, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), A.N.S.W.E.R., and the International Action Center (IAC), founded by Ramsey Clark. These leftist groups are now on the frontlines cheering on the Islamists in Egypt as Khomeini-style killing fields loom ominously on the horizon for the Middle Eastern country. Members of the political faith simply can’t contain  themselves from worshiping at the feet of tyrants who are set on perpetrating a mass slaughter and are intent on bringing the carnage to America. Anti-American “feminist” Naomi Klein set the tone perfectly a few years back for her comrades when, in a column in The Nation, she enunciated her heartfelt longing for Muqtada al-Sadr’s killing fields to come to New York.

Completely missed amid the agonizing cries of human misery in Egypt is that the ending of a United Nations fairytale is being written.  The bum’s rush for President Hosni Mubarak has now gone global and from out of nowhere the Muslim Brotherhood-endorsed Mohamed El Bardei has arrived on the protest scene.  El Baradei’s got the Nobel Peace Prize.  All he’s really missing is the white horse.

Egypt will be turned over to radical Islam leadership.  And it would never have happened without President Barack Obama, who first ran the white flag flying over America up the flagpole—without the permission or knowledge of the American people—on April 6, 2010.
