A Simple But Urgent Reminder — and a suggestion

Free Republic

I wish to remind everyone, that before his election, Barack Obama said: “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded [as the military].”

And five days before his election, he added, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Recall, too, that under Obama, the Federal government weaponized many federal agencies, including the IRS, VA, and yes, the EPA.

Not to mention the infamous rumors of the purchase of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition by the Department of Homeland Security.

We need to make sure that these agencies are returned to peaceful status.

Can someone suggest to President Trump, that all the surplus equipment and ammunition (including hollow point rounds, which I believe are not used by the military) be auctioned off — or better yet, donated as a gesture of goodwill to Tea Party and Militiamen groups, as a sort of token apology for the Obama administration calling them “terrorists” ?

In the meantime, there are scads of leftists who have been calling for the death of certain high-ranking people who just won the election; coupled with riots, and with beatings of people who voted “the wrong way” all over the country. Why doesn’t that count as terrorism?

Incidentally, these riots are being funded by George Soros — who, by the way, was himself a Nazi collaborator.

Speaking of “Literally Hitler.”

It’s time to make government accountable again. And that starts with disarming agencies which have no legitimate need of stockpiles of weaponry.

Benghazi attack meant to “take out” US control of arms shipments?

Family Security Matters

LAWRENCE SELLIN, PHD

A recently-released and heavily redacted copy of a Sept. 12, 2012, Defense Intelligence Agency memo to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, the White House National Security Council and the Joint Chiefs of Staff said “the attack was planned 10 or more days prior on approximately 01 September 2012. The intention was to attack the consulate and to kill as many Americans as possible to seek revenge for U.S. killing of Aboyahiye ((ALALIBY)) in Pakistan and in memorial of the 11 September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings.”

According to the memo, the attack “was planned and executed by the Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman (BCOAR). BCOAR is also responsible for past attacks on the Red Cross in Benghazi and the attack on the British Ambassador, they have approximately 120 members.” Rahman is serving a life sentence in a federal prison for his role in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center which killed six people in New York.

Hagel Admits Obama Ignored Law in Taliban Release

Washington Free Beacon

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel admitted that “the trust has been broken” between the White House and Congress following the Obama administration’s decision to skirt U.S. law and release five top Taliban leaders without first consulting with lawmakers.

Hagel admitted to lawmakers on the House Armed Services Committee Wednesday that the administration unilaterally inked a deal with the Taliban to release five top prisoners from the Guantanamo Bay prison camp without first notifying Congress, as is legally mandated.

The deal was signed “without providing 30 days notice to Congress,” as is required by law, Hagel told lawmakers before attempting to justify the administration’s decision to ignore this law.

The White House’s decision to skirt this law has prompted the House Armed Services Committee to launch a full investigation into the matter, lawmakers revealed on Wednesday.

Obama Building A Personal Army At The Department Of Homeland Security

Western Journalism

In July of 2008, presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama stated that Americans could no longer “…continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

It was 4 months before the election; yet no one in the “mainstream” media seemed interested in asking a presidential candidate about his promise to create a “civilian security force” with a $440 billion annual budget! What, exactly, would it do? Who would be in charge? Where would a force the size of the U.S. Military be housed? Would its members—like their military counterparts—be armed? How much authority would such a force exercise over the American people? From whom would it be derived? In his speech, Mr. Obama made it sound as though most of the members would be volunteers. If so, why would a near-half trillion dollar budget be necessary?

TSA Now Storming Public Places 8,000 Times a Year

American Thinker

Americans must decide if, in the name of homeland security, they are willing to allow TSA operatives to storm public places in their communities with no warning, pat them down, and search their bags.  And they better decide quickly.

Bus travelers were shocked when jackbooted TSA officers in black SWAT-style uniforms descended unannounced upon the Tampa Greyhound bus station in April with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and federal bureaucrats in tow.
