Boehner Is Back and What He Has to Say Will Not Be All That Well Received

Independent Sentinel

For a little insight into establishment thinking as they desperately attempt to cling to power, one might look to John Boehner.

If the Republican primaries do not produce a clear winner on the Republican National Convention’s first presidential ballot, former House Speaker John Boehner said the only man who can bring the party together is Speaker Paul Ryan.

He is the man who just signed the omnibus which funded all of Obama’s socialist agenda.

“If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above,” Boehner said at the Futures Industry Association conference. “They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”

He has a point but if the establishment picks someone after millions have voted, it will mean the GOP picked someone who won nothing.

On Tuesday, Ryan said he would not rule out accepting the nomination at a brokered convention.

“You know, I haven’t given any thought to this stuff,” Ryan said “People say, ‘What about the contested convention?’ I say, ‘well, there are a lot of people running for president. We’ll see. Who knows.’”

Boehner has been quiet until now.

Boehner said that after the first ballot, “anybody can be nominated” at the convention in Cleveland.

True but if they do horse trading to reject the will of the people, they will destroy their cushy little existence at the same time.

Blatant Lies And a Plot to Steal the Nomination

Independent Sentinel

There is little doubt that the establishment is preparing for a brokered convention during which they hope to crown a candidate that is acceptable to them.

Hugh Hewitt reported that John Kasich said no matter what happens, he plans to stay in the race all the way to the convention. The only reason to do that of course is to deprive Trump of the nomination and to deprive Cruz as well. Kasich has said in interviews yesterday and today that if he wins Ohio, there will definitely be a brokered convention.

On the 26th of February, CNN reported that Rubio was preparing for a contested convention and there is now an audio to prove it.

Breitbart has obtained an exclusive audio of Rubio’s campaign manager Terry Sullivan meeting secretly with donors Wednesday, February 24th, telling them about Rubio’s path to the nomination via a brokered convention.

The establishment and their two chosen candidates are plotting a brokered convention to defeat Trump and they are lying about it. It’s no coincidence that Kasich, Romney and Rubio are all saying the exact same things.

A brokered convention will “fracture” the party as Cruz has said. Cruz is very opposed to it.

A brokered convention is handing the election to Hillary and the socialists. We will also lose the Supreme Court and our Bill of Rights but the power brokers care more about their power and their cushy little jobs. They also think Trump is dangerous and a threat. Perhaps they feel it will be brokered no matter what because half the people are not voting for Trump and a significant number are not voting for Trump or Cruz combined, but it’s not their decision. This is the peoples’ decision.

McConnell’s Plans for Donald Trump Will Destroy the Republican Party

RINO season

Independent Sentinel

The New York Times claims Mitch McConnell has a plan to break with Donald Trump should he become the party’s nominee. Personally, I trust nothing from the New York Times, I think the left is desperate and will do anything, but we report, you decide.

Leaders of the GOP don’t believe he can win in a general election and will take the rest of the party down with him, the Times reports.

According to The Times, resistance to Trump “runs deep,” and a “desperate” behind-the-scenes “mission to save the party” from the real estate tycoon stalled out. As a result, “two campaigns have drafted plans to overtake Mr. Trump in a brokered convention.”

Carson Threatens to Leave GOP if It Betrays Voters With Brokered Convention

Allegedly scheming to import massive numbers of Muslims from Syria is only the beginning of the treachery GOP insiders may have in store for the regular Americans they despise and betray while pretending to represent. Ben Carson isn’t liking the rat he smells:

Ben Carson on Friday blasted the Republican National Committee following a Washington Post report that nearly two-dozen establishment party figures were prepping for a potential brokered convention as Donald Trump continues to lead most polls.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus held a dinner in Washington, D.C., on Monday, and, according to five people who spoke with the Post, the possibility of Trump heading into the Cleveland convention with a substantial number of delegates was a topic of discussion. Some attendees suggested the establishment lay the groundwork for a floor fight that could lead the party’s mainstream [i.e., liberal; this if from Politico] wing to unite behind an alternative. Carson rejected this approach.

“If the leaders of the Republican Party want to destroy the party, they should continue to hold meetings like the one described in the Washington Post this morning,” Carson said in a statement released by his campaign.

Carson said he prays the Post’s report is incorrect and threatened to leave the GOP. “If it is correct, every voter who is standing for change must know they are being betrayed. I won’t stand for it,” said Carson, who added that if the plot is accurate, “I assure you Donald Trump won’t be the only one leaving the party.”

The McCain and Romney campaigns of 2008 and 2012 are evidence that the GOP establishment is willing to lose elections even to the most appalling Democrat candidates rather than stand for conservative values. Soon we may see if it is willing to scuttle the whole ship rather than let Trump take the wheel. If he is chosen by the voters and the Republican Party runs someone else anyway, by 2020 another party will emerge to replace it.

Soon to lead an exodus?
