Leftists Promising to ‘Desecrate Graves’ and Protest During 154th Anniversary of Battle of Gettysburg

During the first days of July, 154 years ago, a great battle was fought in and around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, during our Civil War.

Today, as the anniversary approaches, members of the so-called “Antifa” movement are promising to “desecrate” the graves of those who fell in that fight and to mount protests as Americans gather to memorialize the battle.

Gettysburg has become a great attraction for Americans, many of whom troop there annually to celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, a conflagration that is often termed the “high tide” of the civil war for turning the war in favor of the federal armies vying to end slavery and save the union.

But as the 154th-anniversary celebration gears up for the coming month, leftists are making plans for a battle of their own. Only they plan to fight against the country, to “desecrate” history, and to disrupt the thousands of Americans and foreign visitors who intend to honor our past.

Sheriff: Get a Gun, Police Respond in Minutes But Criminals Take Lives in Seconds

On Monday, Florida’s Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey doubled down on last week’s pro-self-defense comments by making clear that police respond to 911 calls in minutes but criminals take lives in mere seconds.

On June 9 Breitbart News reported Ivey’s earlier comments, wherein he urged citizens to get a gun, get mentally prepared, and let terrorists scratch and claw to defend their own lives for a change.

Ivey said:

No matter who you are or what your position is on guns, there is no denying the fact that the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun–or a knife–is an armed and well-prepared citizen or law enforcement officer. There is no doubt that as soon as 911 is called law enforcement is on the way, however, until they arrive it is up to you and those with you to neutralize or eliminate the threat.

During a June 12 appearance on Fox & Friends, Ivey reiterated his message, stressing that police response to a 911 call is minutes for “the best law enforcement agencies” but “a violent criminal can take your life in a second.” He added, “So we need our citizens to be well prepared, to have already though out their emergency plan. If they’re concealed carry holders, carry their gun with them. It’s not doing any good at the house or in the car.”

Ivey stressed that “there is no way to predict where the next attack is coming from or even the next active shooter, so we want out citizens to be prepared to be the first line of defense.”

He stressed that terrorists are not prepared to be attacked “and when somebody turns it on them, their plan falls to pieces.”

Barack Obama came into office to fundamentally transform us into a nation in which all power and authority rests in a central government with a handful of elites ruling the ignorant peons. Many times, Barack Obama has shown his disdain for the American voter who he claims are “bitterclingers” who only fail to support him and his policies because it hasn’t been explained well enough for their feeble brains.

Since he assumed office, he has slowly and in plain sight federalized everything he possibly could and has ignored the Constitution at every turn. As Mark Levin said last night on The Sean Hannity Show, “we don’t have a Republic right now.” He doesn’t know what we are.

Tyranny Just Keeps Coming

Taxation without representation is tyranny and Americans no longer seem to care.

Our forebears fought for freedom from England because of the excessive taxation by King George III who saw the colonists as easy pickings to pay off his war debt. How ironic that we now allow unelected bureaucrats to rewrite laws to increase taxes because we are having fun or driving to work.

We allow taxes on “amusement” as if it were an unsustainable sin and we are going to soon be tracked and taxed by the mile in our cars with no regard for our privacy rights.

Unelected bureaucrats in Chicago’s finance department ruled last month, amending that their established amusement tax will include “electronically delivered amusements.” That includes streaming music, movies and television. It also includes online gaming.

City residents will pay an extra 9% tax to use services such as Netflix and Spotify.

Here Come the Vague Big Government Net Neutrality Rules

The F.C.C. has released a 313-page document detailing the new Net Neutrality rules and it’s only the beginning. Once government rules are in place, they can be manipulated any way the government decides to manipulate them.

The New York Times reports that the commission  will get to decide what is acceptable on a per-case basis. The guidelines also include a subjective provision, requiring “just and reasonable” conduct, the Times reports.

The administration will pick winners and losers and they will decide that the “just and reasonable conduct”.

No room for corruption there!

DHS Funded Report: Sovereign Citizens Greatest Threat To U.S.

Back in April, 2014, I wrote an article entitled “FBI Visiting Gun Shops To Investigate ‘People Talking About Big Government,” where I reported the fact that FBI Counterterrorism agents were visiting South Carolina gun shops in order to gain information regarding potentially “suspicious” customers. These “suspicious” people were not those suspected of Muslim extremism but Americans who were concerned with big government.

The agent who approached the gun shop discussed in my article was actually quoted as saying “If you see some Middle Eastern guy come in. You don’t have to be so worried about that. What we’re really looking for are people talking about being sovereign such as sovereign citizens or people talking about Big Government.”

At the time, I received a substantial amount of skepticism from those who found the agents words to be too unbelievable to be legitimate.

However, with the revelation of a recent survey conducted by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), all doubt should be removed as to the veracity of the original report.

This is because the START survey “Understanding Law Enforcement Intelligence Processes,” has determined that the Sovereign Citizen movement – not Islamic extremism – is the number one threat for domestic terrorism inside the United States.

RT reports that the survey “found that “52 percent of respondents agreed and 34 percent strongly agreed that sovereign citizens were a serious terrorist threat” as opposed to 39 percent of respondents who agreed and 28 percent who strongly agreed that Islamic extremists were the most serious threat.”

To be fair, Islamic extremism was considered as one of the top three greatest threats to domestic internal security. Also in the top three, was the American Patriot Militia movement, a favorite target of the FBI for 25-30 years despite the fact that the American militia movement is only connected to terrorism in the fantastic realms of propaganda pushed by government agencies.

VA Success Story: Vet Gets Appointment Only 2 Years After He Died

Let’s not dwell on the negative regarding the healthcare Big Government has been providing to veterans. Here’s an uplifting story of a vet who actually managed to wrangle a doctor’s appointment:

“He was steadfast. He took care of us, all of these years.”

Suzanne Chase of Acton [Massachusetts] was talking about her husband, Doug, a Vietnam veteran who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2011.

In 2012, she tried to move his medical care to the Veterans Affairs hospital in Bedford.

“It was so difficult for him to take the ambulance ride into Boston, we wanted to be closer.”

They waited about four months and never heard anything. Then Douglas Chase died in August 2012.

But two weeks ago, he got a letter, from the VA in Bedford, saying he could now call to make an appointment to see a primary care doctor. …

At the bottom of the letter, dated June 12, it reads: “We are committed to providing primary care in a timely manner and would greatly appreciate a prompt response.”

Adding insult to injury,

Suzanne Chase was denied funeral benefits for her husband because he was never treated at a VA hospital, even though he died after waiting four months for an appointment.

The VA had already denied her the funeral benefits on this basis before sending the letter urging her deceased husband to respond promptly and make an appointment.

But Douglas Chase did get the opportunity to make an appointment in the end. You can’t blame the bureaucrats if Chase died on them. Socialism works; it just works a little slowly.

Soon government healthcare will serve us all just as efficiently.

A List Of 97 Taxes Americans Pay Every Year

“For the above-stated reasons, I dissent from this Court’s decision to affirm the judgment of the circuit court dismissing this action on the motion of the Secretary of State.”

This well-written and thoughtful opinion by Chief Justice Moore will hopefully give courage to other judges to tell it like it is. Indeed, I have appeals pending in Florida, and the majority decision of the Alabama justices will likely be taken to the U.S. Supreme Court under a petition for writ of certiorari.

We cannot quit. The imposter in the White House must be held accountable, and he should indeed be told to get up off his knees and come out with his hands up.

Few other judges in this nation have the courage of Chief Justice Moore. The Honorable Royce C. Lamberth, who held the Clintons to account in the late ’90s and early 2000s and ruled that Bill Clinton had committed a crime, and Richard J. Leon, who just ruled against the National Security Agency’s “almost Orwellian” surveillance on all Americans, are among the most endangered of species. But if they and more judges like them come forward to represent the interests of the American people, rather than the corrupt legal and government establishment, then there is hope.

If you are like most Americans, paying taxes is one of your pet peeves.  The deadline to file your federal taxes is coming up, and this year Americans will spend more than 7 billion hours preparing their taxes and will hand over more than four trillion dollars to federal, state and local governments.  Americans will fork over nearly 30 percent of what they earn to pay their income taxes, but that is only a small part of the story.  As you will see below, there are dozens of other taxes that Americans pay every year.  Of course not everyone pays all of these taxes, but without a doubt we are all being taxed into oblivion.  It is like death by a thousand paper cuts.  Our politicians have become extremely creative in finding ways to extract money from all of us, and most Americans don’t even realize what is being done to them.  By the time it is all said and done, a significant portion of the population ends up paying more than half of what they earn to the government.  That is fundamentally wrong, but nothing will be done about it until people start demanding change.  The following is a list of 97 taxes Americans pay every year…

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced Wednesday the establishment of “climate change hubs” in seven states – and three sub-hubs – that will assess and come up with a plan to help rural America deal with climate risks – all without congressional approval.

“The president’s been quite insistent in cabinet meetings and in private meetings that he expects his cabinet to be forceful and to act. We can’t wait for congressional action. So pursuant to his climate action plan, we established a number of climate change hubs,” Vilsack said during the White House press briefing.

Barack Obama wrote in The Audacity of Hope, “I have to side with Justice Breyer’s view of the Constitution — that it is not a static but rather a living document, and must be read in the context of an ever-changing world.”

Kevin Gutzman, author of The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution, has said, those who would offer us a “living” Constitution are actually giving us a dead one, since such a thing is completely unable to protect us against the encroachments of government power, for example, the misuse of executive orders.

As conservative radio host Mark Levin noted, Obama’s announcement that he will assume lawmaking powers via executive orders violates the separation of powers clauses of the Constitution.

Yet no objection is raised by the majority Republicans in the House of Representatives, whose power Obama usurps.
