Omar Mateen was a registered Democrat who slaughtered people because of their extreme religious views. Anyone who concentrates on guns or calls it a hate crime is conning us. It these radical Islamic monsters didn’t have guns [though they could always get guns] they’d use pressure cookers and swords.
Even Donald Trump is potentially buying into the gun argument and is planning to discuss banning people on the terror watch list with the NRA. I don’t think Trump will cave but he needs to bring the conversation back to terrorism.
We are happy to meet with Donald Trump. The NRA’s position on this issue has not changed. The NRA believes that terrorists should not be allowed to purchase or possess firearms, period. Anyone on a terror watchlist who tries to buy a gun should be thoroughly investigated by the FBI and the sale delayed while the investigation is ongoing. If an investigation uncovers evidence of terrorist activity or involvement, the government should be allowed to immediately go to court, block the sale, and arrest the terrorist. At the same time, due process protections should be put in place that allow law-abiding Americans who are wrongly put on a watchlist to be removed. That has been the position of Sen. John Cornyn (R.-Tex.) and a majority of the U.S. Senate. Sadly, President Obama and his allies would prefer to play politics with this issue.
The insanity continues and it’s beyond belief. They are going to take our guns when radical Islamic terrorism is the problem. Any excuse to take our rights. Just remember that if we lose one of the Amendments, they will all fall.
The Democrats have made us very unsafe but the Republicans have decided to join forces with them and attack Trump, the only one who is currently in a position to fight these evil Islamists.
Two Democrat senators – Murphy and Booker – are filibustering and demanding universal background checks and banning people on the no-fly list from owning a gun. They will be deprived of the most important constitutional right to due process.
RINOs Corker and Toomey are working on a compromise bill with the leftist Al Franken and the fascist Mike Bloomberg.

The blood is on the hands of the Democrats who refuse to protect us.
Then there are the Hollywood jacks. Take Whoopi and Joy for example and Raven-Symoné who will gladly give up her gun for gun control laws. Fine, give your gun up and leave us alone.
They want to ban so-called assault weapons. The term assault rifles was coined by the Democrats to assist them in their argument that rifles need to be banned. Even the New York Times admitted it. They believe that if they get rid of rifles, they can go after their real and ultimate target – handguns.
An internal DOJ memo uncovered by the NRA states that the government plans to limit all importation, manufacture, sale and possession of large capacity magazines:
In order to have an impact, large capacity magazine regulation needs to sharply curtail their availability to include restrictions on importation, manufacture, sale, and possession. An exemption for previously owned magazines would nearly eliminate any impact.
The memo asserts that assault weapons are not the major cause of the gun crimes and a ban on them would have little impact, especially given the fact that it would take decades to deplete the supply.
They therefore suggest that gun confiscation is the way to go:
Since assault weapons are not a major contributor to US gun homicide and the existing stock of guns is large, an assault weapon ban is unlikely to have an impact on gun violence. If coupled with a gun buyback and no exemptions then it could be effective.
They want mandatory gun registration of all firearms. This would be a prelude to confiscating other guns.
They want your guns, period!
