JUDICIAL WATCH

Judicial Watch Lawsuit Uncovers Truth: FBI Investigating Clinton’s Email Issue

Judicial Watch is once again in the center of events this week in Washington.  This week the FBI told a federal court in a Judicial Watch open records lawsuit that Hillary Clinton’s conduct is under investigation.  This was the first formal confirmation by the FBI that Hillary Clinton is in its sights.  Here’s my statement on the FBI letter to U.S. Department of State Principal Deputy Legal Adviser Marry McLeod concerning the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s and her staff’s use of non-“state.gov” email accounts:

The FBI letter is a significant development. The FBI confirms for the first time that Mrs. Clinton’s use of a “private” email server is a matter for law enforcement.  Why did it take nearly a week for the Obama Justice Department to file this letter with the court?  There’s now no getting around it:  Hillary Clinton’s email use could have serious criminal consequences for her and other current and former administration officials.

The FBI letter reads as follows:

Dems in Senate passed a resolution in1960 against election year Supreme Court appointments

American Thinker

Read it and weep, Democrats. The shoe is on the other foot. David Bernstein at the Washington Post’s Volokh Conspiracy blog:

Thanks to a VC commenter, I discovered that in August 1960, the Democrat-controlled Senate passed a resolution, S.RES. 334, “Expressing the sense of the Senate that the president should not make recess appointments to the Supreme Court, except to prevent or end a breakdown in the administration of the Court’s business.”  Each of President Eisenhower’s SCOTUS appointments had initially been a recess appointment who was later confirmed by the Senate, and the Democrats were apparently concerned that Ike would try to fill any last-minute vacancy that might arise with a recess appointment.

The GOP opposed this, of course. Hypocrisy goes two ways. But the majority won.

As it should this time.

Rep. Mary Lou Marzian, a Louisville Democrat, has introduced a bill that would force men who want to use erectile dysfunction drugs to jump through a series of humiliating hoops beforehand, such as visiting a doctor twice and getting notes from their wives.

“I want to protect these men from themselves,” Marzian, who is a nurse, told the Courier-Journal.

The lawmaker told the paper that she intends to introduce a bill that would require gun buyers to get counseling from victims of gun violence 24 hours ahead of a firearms purchase.

“I’m just making sure the government is taking care of your safety,” she said.

U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops to Meet with Muslim Brotherhood.

Family Security Matters

The latest group of religious leaders to succumb to the interfaith web of deception are the Catholics, but that isn’t even the real problem.  On February 17, at the University of San Diego, The U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops is participating in a panel discussion with the Muslim Brotherhood front group, the Islamic Society of North America.

So what does this mean? Essentially, the leaders of the Catholic church are throwing their congregations to the wolves. The Muslim Brotherhood has been designated a terrorist organization throughout the Middle East, but because their presence within the United States has been non-violent, they have been legitimized by the current administration, and even been looked upon by many as moderate. Make no mistake, they are not moderate, and certainly not peaceful.
