Our national parks along the border are safe havens for smugglers and jihadis.

The U.S. Border Patrol nabbed two Pakistani men with ties to terrorism at the U.S.-Mexico border in September, and it is only the latest known instance of illegal immigrants from so-called “special interest countries” using the southern border as a point of entry into the country.

The men, Muhammad Azeem and Mukhtar Ahmad, both in their 20s and from Gujrat, were caught Sept. 20 by agents south of San Diego and just over the international border from Tijuana.

When agents checked their identities through databases they got hits on both of them:

Mr. Ahmad – associate of a known or suspected terrorist
Mr. Azeem – Information had been shared by a foreign government for “intelligence purposes”

They had been processed in Panama two months earlier which points to them have used the smuggling apparatus to sneak into the United States.

There is a long list of terrorists being caught at the border since 2001 yet the left will mock anyone who says they could exploit the border. They are doing it, but it’s worse than that, we release people from Other Than Mexican (OTMs) and we have no idea who these people are.

Mexicans are sent back but OTMs are not accepted by Mexico and before we can send them back to their native counties, they are entitled to a deportation hearing. Since there are insufficient beds to hold them, the vast majority of OTMs are released from custody and asked to return voluntarily for their court date. We don’t have a clue who these people are and they rarely come back.

Between 2008-2010, about 180,000 OTMs were believed to have crossed the border illegally. In that same period, 1,918 “Special Interest” OTMs were apprehended on the border. It is generally believed that for every illegal alien apprehended at the border, another 60% have gotten through without detection.

Muslims in Mexico are commonly changing their names to Hispanic names to help them cross the border.

At the same time, Salafist mosques in Latin America funded by Saudi Arabia funded NGOs are on the increase.

The World Assembly for Muslim Youth (WAMY) is one of those NGOs. WAMY’s U.S. operations were shut down by the Justice Department due to the organization’s massive material support for Jihad.

Drug cartels have been involved in trafficking Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab and Hezbollah operatives into the US.

Our border agents are up against a sophisticated alliance of drug cartels and jihadis with cartels buying real estate on both sides of the border. Lookouts are staged in our parks and wilderness and as far north as Phoenix.

The majority of border crossers are NOT economic immigrants.

Arizona ranchers are afraid to use their cell phones in the open because cartel snipers might think they are calling in reports to law enforcement and kill them.

U.S. law and border enforcement personnel are careful about using communications gear in the open on the southern border. It is believed that the cartels have snipers and scouts on the high ground all the way to Phoenix.

“The southern land border remains vulnerable to intrusion and exists as a point of extreme vulnerability,” Rep. Duncan Hunter, California Republican, wrote in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson last week demanding to know how many people in the FBI’s terrorist screening database have been caught at the border, The Washington Times reported.

“Evidently there are criminal organizations and individuals with the networks and know-how to facilitate illegal entry into the United States without regard for one’s intentions or status on a terrorist watchlist,” Mr. Hunter wrote. “The detention of the two Pakistani nationals underscores the fact that any serious effort to secure our homeland must include effective border security and immigration enforcement.”

Perhaps a more serious threat is their plan to infiltrate and destroy us from within. With a country of apologists who will let the radical Islamists do whatever they want without being surveilled, we are sitting ducks.

We know from numerous sources that infiltrating is one of their major goals. We uncovered information about their ultimate goals during the Holy Land terrorism trials, from the 2001 Islamic Manifesto, and even from ISIS tweets.

As Donald Trump said, we need a big, wall, a big, beautiful wall. Our politicians aren’t protecting us.

One of the threats is ISIS. Politifact recently reported that the general sentiment among experts was: It’s possible that ISIS could sneak through the border — illegal immigrants do it every day. But why would they?

For one thing, if they make it across the border, there is no record of them having come here as opposed to them flying with a visa plus terrorists can’t get visas.

The Democrats want open borders at all costs and seem to have little concern about the loss of liberty and security for citizens.
