If your child had to write “Allah is the only god; Mohammad is his prophet” as a school assignment, would it bother you? We’re talking public school here.
Parents in the middle school in Spring Hill, Tennessee, are upset that their children spent three weeks studying Islam and were assigned to write the Shahada profession of the Islamic faith: “Allah is the only god.”
Dissatisfied with the school’s response, they’ve gone to the media.
Having been bamboozled into passing a mere bill to thwart the Iran deal, rather than treating the agreement as a treaty, the Republican-controlled Congress is on the verge of being taken to the cleaners again. This time, President Obama is maneuvering to authorize U.S. participation in a United Nations climate change treaty through an executive agreement. The treaty is expected to come out of the December meeting in Paris of parties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Rather than submit the agreement to the Senate as an Article II Treaty, it is anticipated that the Obama administration will simply accept the treaty on the basis of what it claims to be “existing” presidential authority.
In July Barack Obama lashed out at CBS reporter Major Garrett after he asked him about the four Americans the administration left behind to languish in Iranian prisons.

Obama was defending his nuclear deal with Iran when Garrett asked him about the US hostages in Iran.
Obama: I got to give you credit Major for how you craft those questions. The notion that I’m content as I celebrate with American citizens languishing in Iranian jails. … Major, that’s nonsense and you should know better.
Of course, that is exactly what he did.
The Obama administration did nothing to free American hostages during their talks with the Iranian regime.
Obama was negotiating with Iran for several years.
Obama released a top Iranian scientist as part of the deal but left the Americans to rot in hell in Iranian prisons.
Now that the deal is done – with 34 Democrats supporting Iran over Israel – the Khamenei regime is leaking information on the deal to humiliate Barack Obama.
We’re told that the debate about the Obamabomb deal with Iran is over. But its advocates sure seem worried about a rally that will take place at the U.S. Capitol on September 9th.
Presumably that’s because, with headliners like Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck, it promises to be a powerful expression of the overwhelming opposition of the American people to this disastrous agreement.
So, the deal’s partisans have taken to smearing the rally’s organizer’s – including yours truly, evidently in the hope that doing so will either undermine the event or at least change the subject.
The truth is: President Obama’s abject capitulation to the Iranian mullahs cannot withstand scrutiny. Bipartisan majorities in Congress and across the country reject it, and will hold accountable those determined nonetheless to foist it on the rest of us.
Stop the deal.

It should surprise no one that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has joined the Black Lives Matter movement.
It is logical that CAIR, the unindicted co-conspirator in the prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation for providing support to the terrorist group Hamas, should join a group which has contributed to an atmosphere of violent incitement and hatred against police officers across the nation.
While Islamic radicals seek to rid the world of heresies and of the infidels who practice them, leftists desire to purge society of the vices allegedly spawned by capitalism — those being racism, sexism, imperialism, and greed.
Although their motivations are different, fundamentalist Islam and the radical political left are both devoted to totalitarianism, have a shared hatred of Western civilization and Judeo-Christian democracy and they are equally determined to extinguish liberty and subjugate the individual, either to Sharia or the state.
