Yesterday was an important day for world history – it was the 70th anniversary of V-E Day. Earlier in the week, I had the pleasure of speaking before a gathering of World War II veterans in Dallas at the Frontier of Flight Museum. Seventy years ago, we stood committed to defeating the original “evil empire” of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. We were not concerned about political correctness. We were focused on winning. And so it is useful to consider the men of that Greatest Generation and those leaders, and look at where we are today.
Yesterday we learned our U.S. Military installations are on high alert because of threats from militant Islamic jihadists who are pouring all over the internet with chatter about how they intend to kill Americans. And ponder the fact that these barbaric Islamic savages have issued a death warrant, a fatwa, against an American citizen – a woman. But we have more dingbat chuckleheads condemning Pamela Geller than seeking victory over these jihadists.
Friday, I had a conversation with a stellar young man who is the Chairman of the Palm Beach County Republican Party – Michael Barnett. I could hear the anxiety and sorrow in his voice as he tried to lead me into the topic – so I knew it wasn’t good. Annually the Palm Beach GOP has an event called “Lobsterfest” which is one of their major fundraisers. This year’s invited guest speaker is none other than The Netherlands MP Geert Wilders – yes, the same individual who was at the “Draw Mohammed” event in Garland, Texas.
Mike’s office had received a visit from the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) and the FBI JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force). They confided that the Islamic jihadists are at it on the internet, and they’re picking up chatter regarding the Palm Beach event. Now, instead of saying, we’re pursuing these bastards and will do everything in our power to find them and kill them first, the recommendation was to cancel the event.
Mike has often called me and asked for advice, and this was a hard one. Leaders must weigh the costs to those whom they have been called to lead and serve. That’s something I know about and was willing to make a hard decision in my own case – about which liberal progressives haven’t a freakin’ clue. It seems they prefer abandoning Americans to die and then lie about it. But Mike needed guidance and a hand in making a tough decision. He cannot guarantee the 24/7 safety and security not just at the event, but period.
How sad it is that 70 years after V-E Day we are forced to make decisions about our First Amendment right to free speech because of the intolerant, despicable hate of an enemy we have allowed to infiltrate our borders.
What was my recommendation to Michael? Forego having Geert Wilders speak, because of he high risk involved. I personally know Geert and support his stance against the incursion of militant Islamism and Islamo-fascism. If we were on a battlefield this would be an easy call, but there are innocent men and women involved – they are not warriors.
And so I promised Mike I would tell this story in order to alleviate his pain and get folks to understand how absolutely absurd and dire this situation has become. America has been turned into a battlefield and these crazed jihadists have no boundaries in their bloodlust and brutality. The day is coming when we will have to meet their brutality head on – that is what V-E Day is all about.
Mike Barnett didn’t want to cower. He didn’t want the jihadists to believe they have won – but indeed they already have, even before Mike had his visit from FDLE and the JTTF. They’ve won because they have no fear of consequence and so have taken to social media as a means to foment fear and intimidation. Meanwhile, while we’re constantly inundated by the real cowards who have placed us in this situation telling us to be “tolerant.” People such as Juan Williams who state the actions of Pamela Geller hurt the cause? What freakin’ cause? The cause of appeasement and surrender?
This is what may need to happen soon in America. We all know about the Obamacare IPAB – well, those paying attention do. The IPAB is the Independent Payment Advisory Board, an unelected group of bureaucrats who will make pricing decisions on Medicare above the reproach of the Congress.
Here is what we should do to reduce the amount of confusion about free speech in America. Let’s create a government agency called the IJAB – the Independent Jihadist Advisory Board. You may laugh, but I wouldn’t put it past this administration since they fully support UN Resolution 16/18 – look it up here – and after all President Obama stated before the UN “the future does not belong to those who would slander the prophet of Islam.” Of course that came after he lied to America about a damn video causing Americans to die in Benghazi – and by they way, where is that fella who was apprehended in Libya as the “mastermind” behind the know known Islamic terrorist attack? Sadly, the only person to be arrested and sent to jail was the poor Coptic Christian who produced the crude video.
So what we need is an IJAB that can tell us all what we can or cannot say in order to keep the Muslims from getting angry. Yes, the Obama administration should go online and recruit top level Islamic jiahdists who will serve as sharia-based advisors to Americans. That way, we’ll be able to “coexist” with Islamic jihadists and have peace – after all, Islam is the “religion of peace”…NOT! Islam means submission – and that folks is what we are doing. Submitting.
I don’t blame Michael Barnett if he does take my recommendation and decides to cancel Geert Wilders speaking at the Palm Beach event. He’s been placed in an untenable position by the real cowards.
So let me ask this question. Mohammed’s favorite wife was Aisha. He married her at the age of six and consummated the marriage when she was nine. So if I were to state that by modern day standards of morality, Mohammad is a pedophile – is that offensive? Or is that the truth? But we all know the IJAB wouldn’t allow me to say that, regardless of its veracity. And consider that Mohammad is held in esteem in Islam as the embodiment of a virtuous man – what does that say?
Or if I were to state that Mohammad was a murderous warlord – after all he did personally lead some 30 combat raids, the first being the Nakhla raid circa 622 AD. Mohammad also ordered the beheading of every male member of the Jewish Banu Qurayza tribe in Mecca circa 628 AD at the Battle of the Trenches. Doggone, I just don’t think the IJAB would approve of that little historical fact either. And if I were to question why the flag of Saudi Arabia has the “Sword of Mohammad” with a koranic verse above it as an ironic representation of the “religion of peace” will folks castigate me as being stupid and inciting hatred? Heck, I know the IJAB would certainly haul me before a sanctioned sharia court and condemn me to death – but hey, there would be “peaceful coexistence.”
Yes, the Islamic jiahdists are winning. Seventy years after V-E Day we find ourselves cowering away in our OWN country like wussies. Well, some of us. I ain’t shutting up and I tend to believe there are plenty others who won’t either.
Barack Obama says the future does not belong to those who slander Mohammad. Hillary Clinton says that we need to learn to “empathize with our enemy.” We just had a candidate for Prime Minister in England, Ed Milliband, declare he’d would make “islamophobia” a crime. I wouldn’t put it past these three progressive socialists – or their ilk – to join with the Islamo-fascists and create an IJAB. In a way, that’s what the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is already doing as a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood in America.
But who amongst the cast of characters on the GOP wannabe POTUS team will turn back this pestilence? Who has the intestinal fortitude to go to the microphone before the American people and remind us what victory is? Who would stand up and utter those two words spoken by Spartan King Leonidas at the Gates of Thermopylae when asked to lay down his weapon: Molon Labe.
I gave you my recommendation to Michael Barnett. Here is my recommendation to our nation. Find a leader who will get on social media and start up some chatter about kicking these Islamic jihadists in the ass…and follow it through.
There will be peace, and we can all get along – on our terms, not those of the barbaric Islamic jihadists. And if that offends you, good.
