The Apology Tour Continues As Obama Himself Assumes The Role Of A Latin American Dictator
If you can’t be a Latin American dictator yourself, the next best thing would be to befriend them and give them access to wealth that can be used to empower their Marxist ambitions and further their violent and oppressive regimes, asking nothing in return. That is what Barack Obama did.
Cuban President Raul Castro recounted the history of U.S. “imperialist aggression” in Latin America in an address in Panama Saturday at the 7th Summit of the Americas. Obama sat there and agreed by his silence as Castro insulted the United States. It was another abandonment of our nation – another diminution. He is elevating and empowering violent dictatorships.
U.S. “wars, conquests and interventions” in the region have been a “hegemonic force that plundered territories throughout the Americas,” Castro said.
Obama made known that he does agree with Castro at a forum held there in which he told those assembled we will no longer “meddle”.
Obama bashed America.
“I am a student of history so I tend to actually be familiar with many of these episodes that have been mentioned. I am the first one to acknowledge that America’s application to concern around human rights has not always been consistent.”
“And, I’m certainly mindful that there are dark chapters in our own history in which we have not always observed the principles and ideals upon which the country was founded.”
“Just a few weeks ago I was in Selma, Alabama celebrating the 50th anniversary of a march across a bridge that resulted in horrific violence and the reason I was there and the reason it was a celebration is because it was a triumph of human spirit in which ordinary people without resort to violence were able to overcome systematic segregation.”
“Their voices were heard and our country changed. America never makes a claim about being perfect, we do make a claim about being open to change.”
Castro has been appalled at U.S. efforts to stop the growth of communism in the region by helping freedom fighters in their attempts to overthrow dictators. He will no longer have any resistance from the communist-sympathizing-appeasing United States.
The grizzled old communists who have run Cuba since 1959 are responsible for the imprisonment and murder of tens of thousands. Freedom House says “Cuba is the only country in the Americas that consistently makes their list of the Worst of the Worst in the World’s Most Repressive Societies for widespread abuses of political rights and civil liberties.” Cuba is “not free”. It’s an oppressive Atheist, communist regime in which people are not allowed fundamental and basic freedoms from free speech, to free exercise of religion to free travel.
They are closely aligned with the Russian communist empire, Iran, Venezuela and other dangerous totalitarian nations. Cuba has a satellite government in Venezuela. Iran has a presence in Latin America.
We are now their friends, even as Obama ridicules Prime Minister Netanyahu on Twitter and anywhere else.
Barack Obama was eager to shake hands with the aging President – Dictator – Raúl Castro who quickly shook hands and later apologized to Obama because he’s “honest” and not like those other U.S. presidents .
Obama is now working with Castro to force our Congress into ending the blockade, something they said they would not do. Castro called it a violation of international law as if the law mattered to him.
Radical communist Raul urged leaders to “support [Barack] Obama in his aim to liquidate the blockade [of Cuba]”.
Castro and Obama met in private talks about their mutual desire to normalize relations.
The Occupiers of Wall Street will be thrilled. The CUNY Professors who were helping to train the insurgency on our shores make frequent trips to Cuba.
After criticizing the U.S. loudly, Raul said, “I apologize to Obama and others for expressing myself in these terms. It’s just that passion comes out of my pores when I talk about the [Cuban] revolution. Obama isn’t responsible for any of this. The 10 presidents who came before him all have a debt with us, but not Obama.”
Raul recognizes their [his and Obama’s] similar views and goals.
“It’s right that I should apologize to him,” Raul continued. “My opinion is that Obama is an honest man.” The US president, looked down, and appeared to be characteristically chewing gum, as the unexpected eulogy was delivered.
Mr Obama (who once said he didn’t know what Bill Ayers did when he was only 8 years old) said that instead of ideology, he was “interested in results” and “not having battles that started before I was born”.
He gave away U.S. friendship, demeaned the presidents who came before, and set the platform for giving away our POW camp at GITMO because we are not at war with radical Islam and never will be.
Raul of course demanded GITMO back. Perhaps Obama will give him the prisoners too.
Obama believes that opening this door to communists, who have spied on us recently and who will now be able to spy on us more easily, will somehow be a positive for the U.S. when in fact, all it will do is constrain us and help make them wealthier so they can feed their corrupt and repressive ideological government.
Obama gave away our friendship without one thing in return. The political and religious prisoners are still prisoners. The people will still be without freedom yet Obama thinks opening the door to evil will somehow dissipate it.
Raul Castro said Cuba had done some things in the past “that could be seen as terrorism, but when you’re penned in, harassed to infinity, the only option is to give up or fight, and you know which one we chose”.
Nice excuse. It’s America’s fault. Obama obviously agrees. He didn’t dispute it, and did the opposite in fact. He told a forum of civil society leaders in Panama City that “the days in which our agenda in this hemisphere presumed that the United States could meddle with impunity, those days are past”.
Obama wants an embassy in Cuba and Iran and he wants free trade and travel between the countries.
He also appears willing to welcome the Third World and Third World ideologies into the United States.
Cuba had been added to the list of terrorism sponsors in 1982 when it was aiding Marxist insurgencies. Since then the country has been aiding a peace process with Colombia’s left-wing FARC guerrillas while also giving the terrorists safe haven.
The meeting is lauded by the corrupt U.S. press as historic and as momentous as Fidel’s talks with VP Richard Nixon in 1959.
This is all about Obama’s legacy which is one of befriending terrorists and communists and alienating allies.
On March 9, 2015, Obama passed an executive order declaring Venezuela a threat to U.S. national security but then quickly backtracked.
A unanimous statement from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which represents all 33 communist and socialist countries in the region, has firmly condemned the Order.
Russia Today is calling for a meeting between the U.S. and violent communist Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela, as soon as Obama rescinds his executive order.
Even though Venezuela is a danger to our national security, he will probably negotiate that away for nothing in return.
Obama is leaving us in the dangerous position of being unable to keep trade of deadly weaponry from being exported across our nearby shores.
He is going to allow Cuba to extend their power into the Summit of the Americas.
The man who doesn’t have time for Prime Minister Netanyahu has plenty of time for communists and Islamo-Fascists.
This move was written in the stars. Obama had every intention of moving in this direction when he gained more flexibility after his last election.
In June 2012, Raul Castro’s communist daughter Mariela Castro Espin campaigned for Barack Obama.
“As a citizen of the world, I would like him to win,” said Mariela Castro Espin, daughter of Raul Castro, in the exclusive interview, which was conducted Friday in New York. “Given the choices, I prefer Obama.”
She added, “If Obama counted on the full support of the American people, then we can normalize the relationships; we can have better relations than what we had under President Carter.”
Obama, who sees himself as a citizen of the world, would befriend communists and alienate allies. He tried to keep the Honduran dictator-wannabe Manuel Zelaya in power and has continued by attempting to protect the Egyptian dictator Mohammad Morsi, and never saying a bad word against the Ayatollah who hopes to destroy the U.S. and Israel.
Obama is the man who obliterated The Monroe Doctrine and is bailing out communist dictators around the globe from Iran to Cuba. He knows that Iran and Russia have a presence in Latin America, yet he continues to diminish our ability to keep them at bay.
Obama is giving communists permission to send their infiltrators into our country through our open borders and via his unlawful immigration “laws”.
Wouldn’t we all love to believe that being kind to evil will somehow change them?
Last month alone, Castro arrested 600 people who disagree with him. We got nothing for this deal.
Barack Obama might as well be a Latin American dictator. He furthers the dictatorships and oppression of dictatorial regimes by opening up trade, providing funds, and giving them free reign with nothing in return.
Next stop after the presidency? Lead the communists and socialists in the U.N. perhaps?
