Obama’s True Enemy

Obamas-Enemy-List

Republicans, and conservatives that file into Tea Party meetings and rallies, Constitution Classes, and Libertarian gatherings, say time and time again that they are so tired of having to battle the failures of President Barack Obama.  His failed policies are nearly more than they can digest.

obama-finger

He fails to understand economics, his failed Obamacare program is destroying health care in America, he fails to understand the underlying reasons behind why the government shutdowns occurred, he has failed in the Middle Class and he has failed to bring anybody out of poverty.  Failure after failure after failure after failure.  He even fails to stand against an enemy determined to destroy us, fails to connect jihadism to Islam, and has failed to properly apply America’s might against an enemy he is unwilling to admit.

I am here to tell you that President Barack Obama has failed at nothing.  From his point of view, he is a total success.  He is, however, as accused, failing to name the enemy, as so many folks on the right-of-center accuse him of when it comes to the worldwide battle we see emerging around the globe.  However, who we see to be the enemy, and who he views to be the enemy, are two different things.

Kuwaiti Paper: Obama Threatened to Shoot Down Israeli Jets on Iranian Strike

obama targeted jets

Gateway Pundit

In 2010 a top Obama military officer would not rule out the possibility of US forces firing on Israeli jets, if Israel launched a pre-emptive strike on Iran.

Now this…
Kuwaiti Al-Jarida news reported, via Israel National News:

The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

Following Obama’s threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.

According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel’s back.

The report claimed that an unnamed Israeli minister who has good ties with the US administration revealed the attack plan to Secretary of State John Kerry, and that Obama then threatened to shoot down the Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

Al-Jarida quoted “well-placed” sources as saying that Netanyahu, along with Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon, and then-Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, had decided to carry out airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear program after consultations with top security commanders.

According to the report, “Netanyahu and his commanders agreed after four nights of deliberations to task the Israeli army’s chief of staff, Benny Gantz, to prepare a qualitative operation against Iran’s nuclear program. In addition, Netanyahu and his ministers decided to do whatever they could do to thwart a possible agreement between Iran and the White House because such an agreement is, allegedly, a threat to Israel’s security.”

Obama to veto bill letting Congress weigh in on Iran deal

Free Republic

President Barack Obama would veto a bill recently introduced in the U.S. Senate allowing Congress to weigh in on any deal the United States and other negotiating countries reach with Iran on its nuclear capabilities, the White House said on Saturday.

“The president has been clear that now is not the time for Congress to pass additional legislation on Iran. If this bill is sent to the president, he will veto it,” said Bernadette Meehan, a spokeswoman for the White House’s National Security Council…

Obama comes off as an adolescent punk far out of his league. But you can’t call him a failure:

In the early days of the Fundamental Transformation, Rush Limbaugh took heat for hoping Obama failed. We would be passing along a vastly better country to the next generation if Rush’s hope had come true.

Louie Gohmert Begs Democrats to Help Stop Obama from ‘Speaking’ Laws in to Effect

Yul Brynner So Let It Be Written

Gateway Pundit

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) gave an impassioned speech on the House floor on Friday during debate on funding the Department of Homeland Security and President Barack Obama’s un-Constitutional executive actions on immigration.

Gohmert accused Obama of usurping Congress by ‘speaking’ laws in to effect—not even bothering to write anything—that are then enacted from thin air by means of a Homeland Security memorandum without any involvement by Congress.

While Gohmert didn’t say so, the image of Yul Brynner as the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses in the film The Ten Commandments comes to mind. One of Brynner’s memorable lines was when he would make law for Egypt simply by speaking his dictate followed by, “So let it be written, so let it be done.”

Text of Rep. Gohmert’s speech as transcribed by Kristinn Taylor.

“Thank you, Madam Speaker. I appreciated so much my friend Mr. Scott bringing that oath. It does mean a lot taking that oath–to serve in the Army for four years taking basically the same oath; to be a prosecutor in Texas; to be a judge in Texas; to be a chief justice in Texas and now to be in Congress–it means something.

“And protecting the Constitution means that if we don’t preserve the balance of power then this little experiment in democracy or the ‘Republic, madam’ as Benjamin Franklin referred to will be lost.

“So I appreciated what my friend from Maryland said and I wrote it down because it was profound and I quote, “We gave up the opportunity to act responsibly.”

“And I would humbly submit Madam Speaker that that’s been going on for the last six years. Now some of it went on during the Bush administration as the president used executive orders and took powers that probably shouldn’t have been his.

“But in talking to people that have been in Congress over the last thirty-five years or so, they’ve told me that whether it was Gerald Ford, or Richard Nixon—Goldwater went down Pennsylvania Avenue—Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton or George W. Bush there was a willingness on both sides of the aisle to get in a car together and go down Pennsylvania and say, “Mr. President, you have usurped far too much power. We can’t let you destroy the Constitution any further. We are taking a stand.”

“And we have missed that opportunity to act responsibly but fortunately it’s not yet too late. This will act respon-(glitch in video)-say and if you don’t know what irresponsibility is then look at Judge Hanen’s opinion he spells it out.

“This president didn’t even have the gumption to write an executive order and sign it. He spoke his new amnesty law in to being and then Jeh Johnson did a memo. That took the power of Congress away from us.

“So the question on acting responsibly is, “Do we make that message clear? We’re not having laws spoken in to being in this country and having some bureaucrat—unelected—come around with a memo that undoes laws by different Congresses all these years, signed by different Presidents with a memo?”

“Come on. It’s time to act responsibly. Now is the time, please, I know party divisions run deep but stand with us for the Constitution.

“I yield back.”

US – Iran nuclear deal may be dead on arrival and should be

Family Security Matters

by LAWRENCE SELLIN, PHD, MAJ. GEN. PAUL E. VALLELY, US ARMY (RET)

The most recent talks in Geneva between US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif may have completed a major step toward a landmark nuclear accord that the Obama Administration believes will diminish Tehran’s pathways to a nuclear weapon. The potential deal, as reported by the AP and The New York Times, would impose uranium stockpile and enrichment limitations on Iran, and Tehran would have to submit to a restrictive verification and inspection regime for a period of 10 to 15 years. In return, sanctions on Iran would be lifted, and its status as a uranium-enriching nation would be prescribed under international law.

Israeli Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz stated , however, that if the emerging US – Iran nuclear agreement did not include measures preventing any nuclear cooperation with North Korea or other rogue states, it would be meaningless, referring to North Korea’s previous clandestine and illegal nuclear projects in Syria – “We all know that Iran, Syria and North Korea are very close to each other,” he said.

Yet the Obama Administration appears to ignore this potential loophole in order to conclude an agreement acceptable to Iran. Unless specifically prohibited and enforced within the terms and conditions, Tehran may attempt to sidestep the protocols by “outsourcing'” parts of the bomb production process to North Korea, Iran’s long-term partner on everything from launch missiles to guidance systems to nuclear war head technology and other required components.
