Family Security Matters
For commenting President Obama does not love America, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani need be admonished. His comment gives America-bashers a bad name. Obama’s actions have sunk far lower than his unloving acts of bashing America.
While negative attacks about Giuliani’s comments are hypocritical, his words raise a much deeper, and darker, side of Obama.
As Obama continually disses America both at home (as he did at the Summit on Countering Violent Extremism to an audience peppered with representatives of Islamic groups whose ultimate goal is our demise) and abroad (as he did during his recent trip to India), Giuliani said, “I do not believe-and I know this is a horrible thing to say-but I do not believe that the president loves America…”
While Guiliani’s critics seem to line up along party lines, two main considerations are noteworthy.
The first consideration is hypocrisy.
A March 16, 2006 letter from Senator Barack Obama is on record stating his vehement objection to increasing the statutory limit on public debt.
Writing “increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally…(placing costs) onto the backs of our children and grandchildren,” then Senator Obama accused then President George W. Bush in 2008 of being “unpatriotic” as the national debt had doubled to $10 trillion during his presidency.
One need be blind not to see the double standard-as well as double hypocrisy-here.
The White House acts offended by Giuliani’s comment about Obama’s lack of love for country; yet Obama used similar language, calling Bush 43 “unpatriotic” seven years earlier.
Additionally, after Senator Obama mounted his “high horse” to battle increasing national debt, President Obama got off it-going on a spending spree like a child just given an unlimited credit card by his parents. Today, the national debt has ballooned to $18 trillion.
For his comments, Guiliani received death threats and accusations of racism.
But lost in all this is a second noteworthy consideration that should be of far greater concern to Americans focusing on national security and not party politics. And, since both of the following critics are African-American, we can discard the race card.
Potential Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson minced no words during an interview on Newsmax TV’s “American Forum” warning Obama’s failure to fund Department of Homeland Security programs critical to our national security-holding it hostage to protect his illegal amnesty plan-may be “treason.”
Earlier, in May 2014, former Congressman Allen West had suggested Obama came closer to crossing that line, using the words “potential treason.”
West’s charge emanated from efforts by the President and his staff to not release details of the September 11, 2012 Benghazi attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, as well as allegations of White House involvement in a gun-running scheme with radical Islamists.
Recent comments by retired Admiral “Ace” Lyons, while acknowledging that U.S. presidents of both parties have ineffectively countered Muslim aggression in the Middle East, leaves no doubt that Obama harbors no love for America while embracing our enemies:
“The Obama administration has a strategy. It is very simple. Any thinking American should be able to grasp it. It’s anti-American, anti-Western, it’s pro-Islamic, pro-Iranian, and pro-Muslim Brotherhood.”
Lyons added America needs to come to “grips” with Islam, recognizing it is a political ideology riding a religious train.
While Carson and West raise the possibility of treason and Lyons indicates we have a president whose policies are in line with those of our enemies, a serious consideration must be aired: Americans need to come to grips with the fact we have a president who HAS committed treason.
The definition of treason-the only crime detailed in the U.S. Constitution-is very straightforward: “levying war against the people or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” Thus, a gun-running scheme benefitting enemy militants would meet the test.
There are actions to support Obama has crossed over to the “dark side” of treason. A partial listing of such transgressions include:
1. Acting as a facilitator for Iran’s nuclear arms program, presidential candidate Obama in 2008 secretly sent an emissary, Ambassador William G. Miller, to Tehran, to advise the mullahs he was their “friend,” suggesting they await his election to office to negotiate a nuclear arms deal as “they would be very happy with his policies.” Obama lies to us-claiming Iran would not be allowed to develop nukes-while empowering Tehran to do so. (Meanwhile, it appears Obama has helped the mullahs criticize the U.S. by declassifying information then given to a left-wing think-tank outlining a 1987 DOD program to help Israel develop a hydrogen bomb. The timing by Obama-just prior to Israeli Primer Minister Netanyahu’s address to Congress-suggests he values both embarrassing Israel and the U.S. and helping Iran-not quite the actions of a President who loves his country.)
2. Refusing to educate Americans on the religion’s inherent threat to our freedoms, Obama continues to play an “Islam is a peaceful religion” tune while stripping law enforcement of its ability to monitor the threat.
3. Embracing the Muslim Brotherhood-a group banned by Arab allies while still pursuing its secret plan-discovered in 2004-to effect America’s collapse, Obama hosts its representatives despite its still outstanding 2010 declaration of war against the U.S.
4. Continuing to grant high-level U.S. government access to Muslim Brotherhood affiliated individuals after several were later convicted of funding terrorism, Obama endangers our national security with his “Muslim outreach” programs.
Obama has crossed over to treason’s dark side. It is time for courageous leaders to step forward and expose this villainy to the light of day.
