Barack Obama has taken over the FCC and the Internet. I previously posted information about this which was made known thanks to Republican FCC Commission Ajit Pai. He was not supposed to release any information before it becomes final on February 26th. The rule is being put through under cover of complete secrecy.

The government has invented a problem on the Internet that doesn’t exist to create a solution using authority it doesn’t have putting people in charge who do not have the expertise.

Obama’s new regulations will control rates of any net provider and all their relationships.

The FCC is supposed to be independent but Mr. Obama told the FCC exactly what he wants. His new neutrality law does the opposite of what he claims it will do.

It is a government takeover of every aspect of the Internet. It will cost billions – over $11 billion to start – and it will control what is on the Internet. Providers will be under the powerful control of the government.

TSA Demands Internal Passport for Domestic Travel

Precedents exist for requiring citizens to produce special ID for domestic travel; they include Nazi Germany, apartheid South Africa and Russia (both Imperial and Soviet).

Over the Christmas season, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) quietly announced that America was walking down that path. By 2016, all domestic air travel will require either a traditional passport or a federally-compliant ID card called “Real ID.” State driver’s licenses will no longer allow Americans access to domestic flights, as they do now. Real ID will constitute an internal passport. (The drop-date date is commonly reported as January.)

An internal passport refers to an identity document that people must produce to move from place to place within national borders. It allows a government to monitor the movement of its own people and to control that movement by granting or denying ID. In the past, governments have used internal passports to isolate ‘undesirables’, to regulate economic opportunities, to reap personal data, to intimidate and command obedience, and to segregate categories of people (like Jews) for political purposes. It allows a government to bind anyone it chooses to his or her place of birth.

The upcoming Real ID requirement targets only air travel. But that’s how it begins – with airports.

After people became numb to years of ID demands, questioning and searches at airports, those tactics spread to train stations and subways. Then highway check-points were established in areas that lay within 100 miles from an “external boundary,” including coasts. U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents now have the authority to stop a traveller if they have “reasonable suspicion” of an immigration violation or other crime. Although the agents do not currently have authority to demand ID from American citizens, they often do so.

The ACLU has repeatedly cautioned that “[i]n practice, Border Patrol agents routinely ignore or misunderstand the limits of their legal authority in the course of individual stops, resulting in violations of the constitutional rights of innocent people….These problems are compounded by…the consistent failure of CBP to hold agents accountable for abuse. Thus, although the 100-mile border zone is not literally ‘Constitution free’, the U.S. government frequently acts like it is.”

Recently, highway checkpoints have occurred well outside the 100-mile “exemption” range, with agents demanding to see ID. They detain and threaten those who refuse the illegal demand:

The total control of movement always begins with airports. Real ID will be reality in the US by the end of the decade and, perhaps, long before. And it is not likely to be limited to air travel.

Breaking: ISIS Besieging Al-Asad Air Base Where 320 U.S. Marines Are Training Iraqis – Updates

There are reports that ISIS is besieging al-Assad Air Base where 320 U.S. Marines and British military are training Iraqi soldiers. They hold the surrounding areas.

There are unconfirmed reports that there are fires inside the base. Other reports say the airstrip has been surrounded.

Obama’s State Department ordered Marines to destroy and surrender their weapons before they would be allowed to leave Yemen.

Keep in mind that Marines are taught from day one: NEVER SURRENDER YOUR WEAPON!

Stars and Stripes have reported that Yemen rebels are seizing U.S. weapons and vehicles as the Western Embassies close.

Fox News reports the following:

UPDATE, 9:57p ET: The Marine Corps has clarified what Marines did under State Department orders in Yemen following the evacuation of the U.S. embassy.

Crew served weapons were destroyed at the embassy, while Marines’ personal weapons were “rendered inoperable” at the airport, and their destroyed components were left behind.

The Marine Corps does not dispute the reporting that CENTCOM is outraged over weapons being rendered inoperable.

The Marine Security Force left the American embassy in Yemen for the movement to the airfield as part of the “ordered departure” with only personal weapons. All crew served weapons were destroyed at the embassy prior to movement. None of them were ‘handed over’ in any way to anyone. The destruction of weapons at the embassy and the airport was carried out in accordance with an approved destruction plan.

Upon arrival at the airfield, all personal weapons were rendered inoperable in accordance with advance planning. Specifically, each bolt was removed from its weapons body and rendered inoperable by smashing with sledgehammers. The weapons bodies, minus the bolts, were then separately smashed with sledgehammers. All of these destroyed components were left at the airport — and components were scattered; no usable weapon was taken from any Marine at Sana’a airport.

To be clear: No Marine handed a weapon to a Houthi, or had one taken from him.

Megyn Kelly’s air quotes in a Fox News update report below suggests that the administration is forcing Marines to parse their statements. The Illusion-in-Chief wants the reports adjusted to “appear” as if the weapons were not really taken or destroyed. But when you render a weapon inoperable—and forced to leave it behind—isn’t that effectively the same thing?

Another Megyn Kelly interview with General Jack Keane posted at RightScoop offers a harsh criticism of the order to surrender weapons. Gen. Keane is wondering if the order came from some “Mindless stupid bureaucrat.”

Uh, yeah… and just guessing that the mindless bureaucrat’s initials may be BHO. Or as Mark Levin phrased it more perfectly: “We have [Rashidi] Kalidi in the Oval Office.” Can Congress and the Senate put impeachment back on the table now?
